The work was done quickly and professionally.

My floor was damaged and had deep water and urine stains. Their excellent workmanship made the floor look better than new. The process was totally dustless, the area was kept very clean. They completed the work in the proposed time period. I would hire them back for any future jobs and have already recommended their work to friends and neighbors.

We hired Bill to refinish our existing wood floors and install additional wood floors. He did an excellent job. We obtained quotes from three different contractors and I am glad we chose Bill. He was the middle of the three quotes; however, what made him stand out was his quick response time. He is personable and pays attention to detail. You cannot tell the different between the old floor and new floor...it is seamless. He also stained our staircase railing to match our new floors. I highly recommend him. Also, there was no mess! I couldn't believe it. I came home to clean before we moved back in and all I had to do was dust a couple windowsills. Excellent!

I had started my wood flooring project with an individual who was unable to finish the project within a reasonable time frame and I was starting to see quality issues. I also had a very large graduation party looming within 2 weeks and NO part of my first floor had completed flooring. My first floor bathroom not only had no flooring - the sink and toilet were not hooked up (waiting on flooring). All first floor doors were off their hinges. The house was a disaster and I was trying to figure out how to relocate the party knowing that finding a contractor who could come to the rescue so quickly (and willing to finish someone else's work) would be nearly impossible. Bill arrived for an estimate the same day I contacted him and worked to fit my project in the next week. Bill was not personally able to do the job so he sent Tony. Tony was AMAZING! Knowing my desperation and my time frame, and knowing he had other projects to start - he worked 12 hours a day, 3 days in a row to get the work done - even on a Sunday. AND...with the best, most positive attitude and with fantastic quality. I know this was a taxing job and probably put a strain on family and personal time. I am so incredibly grateful and have received so many compliments. I will recommend Havelock to anyone and everyone.

Bill did an outstanding job on a parquet floor that had been covered by old carpet. The floor had glue and old carpet padding that had to be removed and he was able to make it look like New in one day. I would definitely recommend Bill to other people looking to have hardwood floors refinished.

Bill Woods did an outstanding job refinishing and repairing our hardwood floors. During the sales process, he helped educate us on the various options and what the refinish process would be. He was one of the few contractors who gave us a written proposal, which was followed precisely during the project. During the actual job, he exhibited the utmost professionalism. The pride of workmanship was evident every step of way. Some areas of our floor needed to be re-paired. You cannot tell where the repairs were and the original flooring is. We are thrilled with the work Bill did. We are having him back in two months to add hard wood floor in our kitchen and family room. Highly recommend Bill.

Bill was great. He refinished are wood floors in our kitchen and hallway. They came out great! He was on-time, explained everything well, helped pick out a color and completed the project in less time then he said originally it would take. I would recommend Bill. Hopefully, in the near future he will be adding some new would floors to our foyer.

I had a burst pipe over winter and water flooded an unused/closed carpeted room for a day or two. What a horrible mess. I found hardwood floors from 1954 under the soaked carpet. Bill and his crew gave me an estimate, and stuck to it. They showed up on time, were very professional, and finished a couple of days ahead of schedule. Bill and crew sanded, filled, stained and sealed the wood floors that I found under the wet carpet. They are gorgeous and don't look like 62-year old floors. The floors are awesome and Bill and his crew are AMAZING! Use this company.
