Floormaster

Fantastic job. Would hire again. Very professional, and the end product exceeded my expectations. I had some questions about the pros and cons of different finishes (poly-based vs water-based, clear vs tinted), and Floormaster was patient with me as they explained everything. They arrived punctually and finished the job early. Out of three bids, was also the most competitive. I pulled the carpets and baseboards in the rooms, Floormaster pulled the carpet on the stairs and in the hallway.

The work went very well. Floormaster was able to fix the planks and you can't even tell there was ever an issue. Actually, I am so happy with the work that was completed, I have decided to get the bedroom floors redone now as well. Originally, I was going to re-carpet the bedrooms, but after the compliments that I have gotten on the front room, I have asked Floormaster to come out again. I intend to post an update when work is complete.

Brian and his company did a fantastic job. I recently purchased an old house in Detroit with floors that had not been redone in many, many years. Brian and his crew refinished them up beautifully. The job did go several days longer than originally planned. This was due to problems they had removing the top coat (very old and clogged the sanding belts) and the fact that the humidity was so high that week that the floors took longer than normal to dry. This was perfectly acceptable and beyond his control. Additionally, the den had a terrible urine smell from previous owners dog. We were afraid we may have to rip the floors up it was so strong. When providing the initial estimate, Brian was very confident the smell would be eliminated after stripping and finishing and he was right on the money. We could not be happier and fully expect to use his services in the future to continue our remodeling of the home.
