My AC united died over the 4th of July weekend and we needed a quick and fast fix before the hot and humid days came. I contacted sales rep. Jeff Lee with Holland Heating and Cooling out of Davison, MI. on Wednesday July 5th .. Jeff was very professional and knowledgeable and he was at my house the very same day to give me an estimate to replace my AC unit! I accepted his quote and his crew showed up on time the next morning Thursday July 6th and got straight to work. Installers Matt & Mike were very professional and knowledgeable as well. They cleaned up after themselves when done and went over any questions I had. My Job# RA707066 went fantastic, the quality of the workmanship was top-notch. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We came to terms on a new unit and although there was a waiting period they put us on stand by in case someone canceled which happened so we had a installing crew here in a matter of days. Brad and Mike with job number hd706225 came right on time to start the job. Both men were very pleasant and professional and took the time to answer any question that I asked. The installation went perfect and when they finished they cleaned up the job site so well you could not tell they were there.

Brad and Nevin were phenomenal from start to finish and beyond. They arrived at the specified time clean and organized. All of my questions and concerns were addressed. Could not believe how much knowledge these guys had about what they were installing. They kept things clean and were clean and very professional while they were in my home and when they left, other than the new equipment, there was no trace of them there. The topper for my wife and I was the follow up call to check on us. Holland Rocks! Thank you

It was a horrible experience. The guy who was giving us a "free estimate" came in, did not introduce himself, then spent all of 5 minutes looking at my furnace. He came back to tell me it was not worth fixing. Which we knew this already. Did not give me a "free estimate" because the company had nerve to try to charge me for the free estimate about 7 months later... They tried to say it was a fee for cleaning or something along the lines.. Why would I have my broken furnace cleaned? I called my bank and claimed it as fraud. What I learned from this is check BBB before you do business, because I was not the only one this happened to.

Excellent job by Scott H and Josh. They even worked late to get our heat back on so we wouldn't have to go another night in the cold.

We used Holland Heating & Cooling Inc. They were here about 5 years ago in the Fall. The price was negotiated through Home Depot. No problem with responsiveness. I would possibly use them in the future but they're not local to me.

They seemed very thorough and they repeatedly came out to check on things. They sent different guys each time to insure that the previous person did things correctly. They always called to make sure we were happy. I've never had any company do that before.

I had Holland back 3 times over three years and am at the present time looking for someone to correct the system. I waited for a replacement part 3 months this winter and finally went in and asked to see the owner. This did not happen but I was promised the part in two days. The part, a holding tank for my well, did come and was installed. This was the third tank we had installed and still have the same problem of the well pump running and cycling on and off for a couple minutes. When I called Holland to say the problem had not been corrected they said I needed a plumber and they did not have one. I still see Holland at Home Depot selling these units. Buyer beware for anyone contemplating buying from these turkeys.

Crew showed up on time in the morning and got straight to work. They took great care to cover the floors with tarps so no dirt/damage was done. Cleaned up after themselves when done and went over any questions I had. Professional company from top to bottom. Jerry, the sales rep was very professional and knowledgeable. Todd and the installation crew were fantastic, the quality of the workmanship is top-notch. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

The heat at my mother's house quit working several days ago. She had contacted this company already by the time I was brought into the loop. I checked Angie's list and saw the (at the time) overall B rating and that there were other A rated companies in the area, but since she seemed to like these guys, we went with them. While I didn't do a thorough price comparison across many companies, the overall quoted replacement cost seemed reasonable. I also appreciated that there was no upsell pressure. In fact, I was encouraged to go with a less-expensive option that would more adequately cover my mom's needs without over-buying. I usually see that as a good sign, along with the fact that the quote came on a Sunday and they were able to install on the following Tuesday. The installation went as planned, except they discovered that the house no longer had a grounding rod! I'm not sure if it had been stolen or what but the house clearly needed a new one. They sent another person out to install one the next day at no extra charge, requiring a harrowing trip into the crawl space in sub-freezing temperatures. This above-and-beyond service is why I rated them highly and would use their services in the future.

This company did a wonderful job. We had Damon, Erik and Ryan do the install and they did a very professional job. They pulled out our old furnace and installed a new furnace and a new A/C unit. It has worked perfectly since install.

The folks at Holland Heating of Fenton are awesome! John and Ryan did an amazing job installing my new Trane furnace. They included me in the installation process and were receptive to my questions. They were willing to share their expertise with what I wanted. They were on-time, professional, courteous, hardworking, and went above what they were hired to do. They also cleaned up properly after they were done. I was so impressed with the service, I had them come back to repair a worn out part on my AC unit. And I would hire them again for any HVAC service. The price was fair and competitive with several others I met.

Arrived early and got right to work. My children asked them many questions and they answered them nicely. They spent all day at our home and made sure everything was working. They cleaned up after themselves. It was nice having them talk with my children rather than ignoring them. Thank you Damon and Andy

Our air conditioner died when the heat was in the high 80,s. Called Holland on Friday, Tony came out and diagnosed the problem, our compressor had died. We decided on a new air conditioner. On Tuesday a.m. Todd and Randy came out,. installed the new air conditioner and by the afternoon we had nice cool air. The young men were vey polite and professional, couldn't have asked for better service. We have dealt with Holland in the past, and will continue to again in the future if needed.

They did an excellent job and were super friendly. For the first time I had been impressed with someone.

He tried to sell us something without fixing anything. They were trying to rip us off like there was no tomorrow. It was incredible. They drive a red van. He opens up the furnace and says, the secondary exchange is bad. The furnace should be replaced. It is in poor condition. It is very unsafe. He gives me a quote of several thousand dollars. I call my home warranty company and they say they will come out to inspect also. My home warranty company checked it and said the valve was not placed in the hole and it was just laying on the furnace. They said the furnace was fine and it was not going to blow up.

The estimate through to the final inspection of the units pleasantly exceeded our expectations. Holland understands the value of customer service not only before, but also during and after the installation. Jerry came by and answered any questions we had regarding the estimate. Scott and Cliff showed up at the scheduled time to install the equipment. They were very professional, neat, good humored and efficient. I was a little leary of allowing a new heating company access to our home since we were satisfied with our previous company we had for over 10years. Although very good they had become increasingly Nice job, Holland!

No secrets here; this is the same review that I proactively entered into the companies website 2 weeks prior to pasting here. After some time with the new high efficiency, two stage furnace, in both cold and hot weather, I have found that my initial impression of being underwhelmed has not subsided. I think it is partly through the disconnect between the sales team and the installation team. Here are my primary issues that I had initially and continue to have: - there is a discrepancy regarding the use of the outside air backup (I don't know the name of it) from my old setup. Two different salesman said they would just close that up and it is not necessary with a high efficiency system. When I tried to confirm that with the installers, they said that code requires that and it must remain and they couldn't close it up. This creates my initial skepticism of the expertise of the overall firm because one of them was clearly wrong. - there is a significant air leak at the furnace that did not exist at all with the previous furnace. I guess I could just apply tape, but should that be necessary after spending $5K on this job? - The primary decision for me to purchase this system, which was made abundantly clear, was to even out the temperatures between levels in the house. I have a small upstairs, main level, and walk out lower level. With the new furnace, on a random cold day on a weekend evening after operating all day, the lower level was 64 degrees and the main level was 72 degrees. There is an open stairway that separates the two. On a hot day, using AC all day with blinds closed to block the sun, at 6pm it was 68 degrees in the lower level, 78 degrees in the main level, and 82 degrees in the upper level. These types of spreads are unacceptable in my opinion for resolving the primary purpose of my purchase. I didn't have that high of discrepancies with my old furnace. - I was told that the way the even temperatures would be accomplished was to adjust all the vents in the house and ensure they are blowing at a consistent speed using a measuring device. I made a point at every discussion in the sales process to say that I wanted this done. I had a significant discussion with the salesman about this and we even went to several registers to measure them and see the differences. I think he said they would all blow at 200 (I don't know what units). I even asked how they could do it other that just adjusting the dampers and register dials; the response was that the installers had a few tricks they could do. Anyway, the day of the install, the installers never planned on doing this and were not going to do it except that I insisted that they do it since this is what I was told. It turns out the "tricks" were to adjust the dampers and register dials (I couldn't have been less impressed with those tricks). Well, I could have done that myself and saved $5K. In the end, the installers said they couldn't adjust half of the dampers because of the finished basement ceiling and they are all blowing out at various speeds which is what the installers thought was the best way to have it function (very different again from the salesman). - the consumers energy rebate turned out to be $40 less that what I was told by the salesmen. Overall, everyone in the process was very nice, but I feel like I was sort of duped. I would not have spent the money on this if I knew the outcome wouldn't accomplish my main objectives. I just feel like I wasted my money.

It went very well. We had a 50-year-old boiler and they came in and worked there. They were excellent. The guy who came out, looked at, and gave us the estimate. He was very knowledgeable. The fellow who came out and did the work did a great job. The price was reasonable.
