It was brutally cold and a space heater used to warm a 3 room area in my 150+ year old home did not appear to be keeping the space at a temperature that would insure that food stored in that area would not be damaged by the cold. I called Haisma and they came out the next day. The two servicemen were prompt and extremely polite and informative. They saw immediately that the space heater did not have adequate BTUs for the space it was supposed to heat when temperatures dropped to near and below zero as they had been doing. To make certain that the heater would continue to operate in the sub-zero cold, they checked the pilot light, gas pressure and vent pipe and generally went over the entire unit so that they were satisfied that it would not stop working and leave me without heat for that portion of the house.. They explained what they were doing the entire time and made sure that I understood what they were saying. They suggested that I get a small fan and set it a safe distance in front of the space heat to better distribute the heat. I did this immediately before they left and it worked like a charm. Their service was prompt and extremely satisfactory. Since I am on a fixed income, the cost was surprisingly reasonable for the amount of work and the time spent. I would have no hesitation calling them in the future. I highly recommend Haisma Heating and Cooling. Everything went fine. See above

I bought a Seasonal Furnace or Air-Conditioner Tune up for $59.00 Two young men arrived on time. Very cordial. I have to believe they tuned up my furnace but when I asked where their vacuum cleaner was they said they didn't use/need one. I was surprised because every other furnace tune up/ maintenance I have ever had, the person showed up with and used a vacuum to clean out the dust etc. Afterwards I have had the chance to speak to no less then three other HVAC people and they all said that cleaning/vacuuming was basic maintenance. On going back and reading the Angies List deal there is no mention of cleaning, so althought my furnace my be checked it was not cleaned. This is clearly a case of "reader beware". Read the small print.

Great job again by Haisma, we use them regularly. Also replaced our humidifier filter, hence the extra cost. Highly recommend.

Trevor and Alex arrived early and promptly went to work assessing my aging furnace. They cleaned the burners, checked the gas pressure and heat exchanger and ran a combustion analyzer test for Co2. They noted the damper was set to "on" which was wasting heat and reset it to "auto". I feel much more secure in the furnace safety and reliablity now that it has been inspected and cleaned. Great service and attitude. Will definitely use this company again. Thanks Trevor and Alex!

Good, they got the system up an running in a timely manner.

Their company and people they send to do the work are on time. Their efficency is great, they get the work done. If they find something broken, they try to send someone else to get the part so everything is done in a timely manner. They are anxious to get it done in a timely manner and get it done properly. I have referred them to my neighbors, who were also very happy with them. They young men they send are well trained and answer all of your questions. It is a pleasure to have them in your house.

Work was high quality with very good equipment and materials. Price was very reasonable.

I dealt with their salesman, office staff, owner, and 4 technicians over the course of the project. I was extremely pleased with the entire group and will be using them again. I am a property manager and have them saved in my phone contacts list as a top service provider.

They were very responsive. Our furnace had stopped working. They called us back even before their published phone hours. They came out same day, within 3 hours of our call at 7:30 AM. The techs were very nice and explained everything. They had to leave to pick up a blower motor from their shop and were back promptly. The furnace was working again by 2 PM. My only complaint is the price. I don't think that their service rates were outrageous, but the price of the part was expensive combined with the service. All totaled I shouldn't complain. They did a great job and sometimes you have to pay for good service and prompt response... :)

I just received an estimate on a new AC unit. The gentleman was very professional and explained everything to me in detail so I knew exactly what I was buying. They had the lowest price out of the companies I did compare. I did not go with their company because when I called their office to schedule an appiontment, I recieved a voicemail. Company B called me almost immediately after and had an appointment available for my day off. This was all during the July heat wave in MI and I did not want to wait an extra minute to get my AC back. I will definitely be calling then if/when I am in need of heating service.

They were very responsive and gave me good quality products. I like using them. The price was competitive.

They are great. We have done business with them for years. They are local. We try to support the local people. We didn’t ask anybody else about the price but I think it was fine. I think we spent $2500. We would continue to use them in the future.

The process went very smoothly. We called to get an assessment of the existing boiler and a technician came out the next day . The technician arrived at the time they said he would. He was courteous and knowledgeable. He determined the boiler was cracked an unrepairable. We then set up an appointment for a salesman to come out and take measurements and draw up an estimate. That all went as planned and we were impressed with how thorough and careful they were in measuring and determining the size boiler needed for our square footage. The next day they called us back with a complete explanation of the estimate, labor, materials, warranty, when they could come in and how long it would take. The salesman was very attentive, a good listener and not pushy. Their price, while it wasn't the lowest was very competitive. What happened next is something you don't often experience in dealing with many businesses these days. They arrived on the date and time they said they would, finished the job in the time they said they would, and charged exactly the price they estimated. The salesman has been very responsive to our questions and concerns throughout the process.

I CALLED THEM RIGHT AWAY, AND THEY CAME OUT PRETTY QUICKLY. THEY CHECKED OVER MY HEATER FOR ANY OTHER PROBLEMS. THEY DO A VERY THOROUGH JOB. I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS SINCE THEY REPAIRED MY HEATER.
