The three installers were very nice, courteous and did a great job. The front office called me a few hours after completion to see how things came out and also verified what gas company I had. They are going to fill out and submit the energy rebate forms so I will end up getting a nice rebate check of $125 from my gas company! USA Insulation is first rate and I am very happy with this job.

My service was great! Our sales rep Tom Nicklin did a great job in explaining everything that we would get and even put a nice touch on showing us the benefit and difference in regular insulation compared to the fiberglass insulation. Day of insulation the crew was ONE TIME, worked fast and efficient and put a nice touch on my experience by cleaning up all dust and insulation that fell or was throughout the house. We didn't even have to ask them to do this. I enjoyed my experience and you all have a customer for life!

Attic inspection was made on my home. The consultant explained to me what he was going to inspect and the results. The consultant was knowledgeable and answered all my many questions. He was very amicable and easy to speak with. The appointment was made in a timely manner.

Tom come out and quoted the job. He seemed knowledgeable, was very nice and polite. No hard sell. We signed up for of 1 inch closed cell spray foam insulation - 140 feet of rim joists plus the cantilevered area. A little more costly than the other quote we got, but Tom seemed more knowledgeable, and the company had decent grades on Angie's list. The guys who came to do the job were a couple hours late, but they had called to let us know, so no problem there. When they got here, they didn't seem to know exactly what they were supposed to be doing, so we showed them- rim joists all around basement, and a place where the 1st floor is cantilevered out beyond the basement wall. They said they never do rim joists when they are under a garage wall-- that was included in the 140 foot quote, but hubby said he guessed that was ok. They were in and out in about an hour. In addition to not doing the joists along wall under garage, there was a part of the laundry room they didn't do. But even that might have been okay(even though we paid for that to be done). But now that we have hit a cold spell, the floor above the cantilever is still as cold as it was before the insulation was installed. So we pulled out the fiberglass batt to look -- see exactly what they had done, and assess whether maybe we needed to do more to get the desired result. We checked 3 joists areas in the cantilever. On one, the foam didn't cover the outside at all, on another it partially covered, but clearly not an inch thick (some of it just sparsely spackled looking), and none at all where the wall meets the floor above. On the third, the foam covered fairly well, but again it seemed that the foam wasn't covering where the wall and the floor above meet. We haven't checked the rest. We called yesterday afternoon, and Chris is supposed to be calling back. I do believe they'll make it right. But the call shouldn't have been necessary. The crew should have known what they were supposed to do, and should have done it right the first time.

They were okay. We ended up redoing a lot of it ourselves. I don't think it was thick enough. So my husband and I rented a blower and redid a lot of what they did for us. They took two days to do the whole garage. It just wasn't what we were expecting. We got up there and it just wasn't as much as we had anticipated. The price was excellent for what they did. It's just that when they were all finished and we looked at it, it wasn't as much as we had thought it would be.

The salesman was very nice and knowledgable about the product and explained everything very well. The installers showed up early and got right to work. When the finished they did not show me there work or explain what the had done they just took my remaining balance and left. Upon further inspection i have found a few places where light is coming in from the outside so that also means that so is air at this point. Also I had some chair that were being stored in the basement and they had used my dining room chairs as a ladder to climb into the crawl space. Just seems to me that a company should have small ladders to get the installers into the crawlspace. They also could of asked me because i have a small ladder in the garage they could of used instead of my dining room chairs. But overall the company was very pleasant and good to work with and they do good work. My only advice would be to watch the installer a bit closer. I showed them how to get down there but did not go down to check on them myself throughout the process.

USA arrived early, went over what they were doing. They got to work right away, they Covered up all carpet and cleaned up when done with job.

good on the attic. sloppy on the rim joist. started using my original batting for the rim joist until I called them on it. didn't clean up very well. there was dissention among the ranks and I think it showed with a lack of caring.

From Scheduling to installation, USA insulation were professional, timely, and priced competitively. Within 24 hours of requesting a quote through Angies list, I received a call to schedule a consultation. The consultation was scheduled within a few days. I received two confirmation calls of the apt and the consultant showed up on time. I had no issues with the price and while my installation didnt quite qualify for the angies list promotion, it was factored into the price. The price, while not the cheapest, was competitive. The installation was scheduled within a few days, and again I received a confirmation email and call of the apt. the installers showed up on time, were professional, friendly, and worked hard. They showed me their work, answered my questions, and were done within a few hours. The final price was as quoted, no hidden fees, and the guys made sure to clean up afterthemselves. Overall this was a great transaction and I would recommend using USA insulation. Great job guys - thank you.

Inspector confirmed that existing insulation was adequate and no more was warranted. Did not try to up sell or manufacture a crisis.

There was a need for baffles and 17" of blown-in insulation. The men arrived on time and the work was completed without a problem. They were professional and kept everything neat. We were shown the level of insulation with a guarantee if the level goes down they will come back out and fill to the 17" level.

I couldn't be happier with my experience with USA Insulation and the consultant who came out.

The guy was great but the price was too high so I haven't continued on that yet. It took a little while to get the quote but the guy was very knowledgeable, courteous, showed up on time. He was a good guy. If I had the money to do it, I would have pulled the trigger for sure.

First off, we did not contract through them directly; we contracted through Lowes who contracted the insulation manufacturer who contracted USA Insulation. We are still dealing with the effects of USA Insulation! It is now May 15, 2015! The winter of 2014 we had noticed condensation in a few different places when it was bitterly cold out and thought, we need more insulation and my husband was going to do it but then we decided to hire out. We had Lowes come out and quote and it was a good price so we decided to sign on the dotted line. Lowes goes through the insulation manufacturers company and the insulation manufactures hires a service insulation company to do the work, they hired USA. Now when you sign with Lowes, your contract is with Lowes so it doesn?t matter whom they hire to do the job, you are dealing with Lowes and Lowes will stand behind their contract. But you better have TIME, (lots of it) to deal with any mess-ups! Lol! USA came out 3 different times, 1st time blew in insulation went fine (so I thought) except they didn't clean up after themselves. Well, then winter hit with some freezing temps and the condensation was still showing up on the ceiling in the same places, so I took pictures and called Lowes. USA came back out and re-blew insulation. Had condensation again, different places, called Lowes, was sent to the Installation Mgr., He called USA, USA called me, I sent pictures in turn 1 of the mgrs. of USA a guy named Chris informed me that they didn?t think it is insulation, but that we have a leak in our roof, what? We informed USA that if we had a leak that our roof would leak when it rains, right? We contacted a roofer on our own just to make sure there wasn't anything else going on, roofer came out looked around, walked on our roof, he got to see 1 of the baffles because we took out our fan out in the master bath because it was leaking some condensation, and he told us that it looked like the baffle wasn't installed far enough down. Lowes Install mgr. sent out a different company to inspect and that company gave a report, mind you, we never see any paperwork but i am Very good at taking notes! The guy that came out for inspection told me what was up; I always follow the work people around! He informed me that he found problems that should be corrected, I felt better! So, USA called me to set up an appt. I informed them that I wanted them to send someone other than who was sent the first 2 times. Guy came out with his crew, went up in the attic, said the baffles where done wrong, fixed them (so we thought) then raked up the insulation...with a rake to fluff up where they walked. Awesome, job is finally done...nope, not even close! Super cold again and now the condensation in the spots is gone! Yay! Except now there are new ones! What?? Oh my word! Took pictures again, contacted Lowes again Lowes is sending out another company to inspect again, guy that comes out is Dr. Energy, Steve Rodgers, the president of the company. He did an inspection and yep, it?s the insulation problems. So now Lowes says that the insulation manufactures will send out USA again! My husband said NO WAY, they are never getting into our attic again, and he told them they need to find someone else. Well, turns out that we are able to hire someone else to fix the issues and they will pay so we decided to have them hire Dr. Energy. We are hoping for a happy ending to this story but we will not know the outcome until this winter! I will update then. I have never written this long of a review and I hope to never do it again! I am a slow to type so this took forever but, hopefully I can save someone else the grief that we have been put through! I have cut corners to this story, believe it or not, but this is the major part of it. I would like to say that Lowes is awesome in that they Do stand behind what they sell! Just remember always take pictures and notes!!! *****Update: Response to their response: USA did NOT re-vent our bathroom fan, on the contrary, the guy actually took out our fan to look at it, that is all! I'm warning everyone not to use this company! You have been warned!

Terrible. First they were supposed to arrive at 9:30 and did not show up until 11:30. When crew got there they said they could not do half the job that Tom the sales guy quoted, and that he severely under estimated the square footage and tha the cost would go up a bunch. The half that they could not do was the biggest reason they were even called out to quote it. After calling the sales guy and arguing how they were wrong and I was not paying more than quoted, they did agree to do the half they could for what they quoted. The crew did a good job on the work performed, but it took much longer than thought. Originally they were supposed to be there by 9:30 and done by around 2pm and they did not leave until 6pm because they were late and then the negotiations started. After they left they called to say the bill was gonna be more because they used more material than estimated. Luckily I required a text confirmation of our agreement and had to tell them again I was not paying any more than agreed and I sent payment. Did not hear from them again. Would not recommend!

We purchased an attic inspection first and it went great. Tom did an excellent job in explaining how the work would be done and answered all my questions, so we decided to hire them to do the actual insulation, which according to Tom would take up to a few hours. It turned out to be a nightmare. The first team showed up late without any documents. They did not know what they were supposed to do, and I had to explain everything to them. Soon they ran out of materials and decided to leave and come back the next day. When they finally "finished" the work the next day, my husband pointed out a few obvious mistakes that they had made, and the team leader basically said: I don't care. It is shocking what they did: they ripped apart the wood floor in our attics and did not even put the broken pieces back. For the parts of the floor that they did not break, there was also no insulation. The interior wall insulation was done poorly and was unfinished. the attic doors were only insulated with a piece of foam half the size of the door (my husband said that it took him a while to talk them into insulting the doors at all). Before they ran out of materials again, they also insulated some of the exterior walls that do not need to be insulated. And of course they did not clean after themselves just like the first day. The company did respond to my complaint and sent their A team to fix the problem. They re-did the floor insulation and tried their best to repair the broken floors. They added more foam to the doors. However, they were in a hurry to leave so that they could fix another house. After they left, we noticed that part of the interior wall was still unfinished, and they had forgotten to insulate the door to the top attic. Oh well... It does not seem to be a terrible company, and I probably would rate them A or at least B if they had sent their A team the first time, but our attic floor is uneven now thanks to the first team and we still have to finish the insulation ourselves. They also charged the first half of the cost after they left the first day, without even asking for my authorization. What? It is like if you go to a restaurant and they start charging you when the food is only half cooked. Not cool.

USA INSULATION IS AWESOME AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I have to say I was totally impressed with the entire service from start to finish. If your reading this your probably like me and read lots of reviews before selecting a company, I read all of them and USA had the best reputation. So I scheduled a review and they sent out an excellent rep by the name of Tom Niclin. Tom was very professional and took his time to explain all my options. There were no hard core selling tactics just the facts and options. So I felt great that I would be in good hands with Tom and USA Insulation so I went ahead and purchased the full service. Next, two weeks later like clockwork the USA Insulation team showed up on time and ready to work. Chad was the foreman and he was awesome, he really knew his stuff and made sure all the details were done. And his team was excellent as well. Also, I appreciated that the owner Chris and Tom came as well to ensure their team were clear on the work to be performed. Next they proceeded to work filling my walls with insulation it was an all day project and they were working hard. At the end Chad walked me through everything that was done and showed me specifics which I appreciated. And something you don't see all the time they actually cleaned up their mess. And here is the great news it worked! My first night with an insulated home and I can tell you the difference was HUGE! My house was 100% warmer as promised and quieter which was a welcomed surprise. Overall very happy, I have dealt with a lot of contractors and they were the best. And yes I'm a real customer this is not some BS. Best of luck.

FIRST let me say..the whole attic inspection and ventilation thing is a gimmick to get the company out to see you more insulation. THIS IS A SERVICE that any company would gladly do to sell you insulation so I'm not sure why i paid for this. I'm not even sure I received a ventilation analysis ?? All that the salesperson did was sit down for an hour and give me an extensive sales pitch with a huge binder. He then went in my attic and told me where i was deficient in insulation. I was going to have them do the extra work but decided to have other people quote the same job. WHAT REALLY upset me was that he damaged my drywall going into the attic and never said a word. i went into my closet later and found the insulation all over the floor as well as the damaged cover.

They showed up on time and were very nice and professional. It took less than 2 hours, and they completely cleaned up everything before they left.
