They were great and knowledgeable and were quickly able to figure out what was wrong. The manager of the office, jennifer walten, is an angel. She is very nice on the phone. Our service rep was excellent and was very nice, he even called us to make sure everything was great. Dan Comeau was the gentleman who did the work. He was outstanding, knowlegable, empathetic and very kind.

)The Pine State representative (Jim Marcisso) came on May 10 and examined our needs, but I still haven't received a quotation.

After making the decision to finally change from oil heat (30 year old boiler) to natural gas I got estimates from quite a few contractors ? Lee Nicely was very informative explaining all of the advantages the new system and what it would take to remove the old one. Many of the contractors I contacted we not nearly as informative as Lee and some just never got back to me or canceled numerous times. The service men that installed the equipment were very professional and kept me informed of the process as it progressed. The work was exceptional and we just love our new system. I would highly recommend Pine State Services to anyone looking to replace their oil heating with natural gas or any other heating equipment installation. Great Job guys !!!!!!

Furnace works fine. Black tracks are still on the concrete floor. Tech did not have a nozzle, so I gave him my spare. I have never had it replaced, nor received any credit on the billing for it.

Their service was excellent. I like everything about their service. They were quick, expedient, clean and extremely professional. They were just great!

Jason did an excellent job! He also did extensive kitchen and bathroom work for us in late October, 2012, and did a fantastic job.

They did not return the first 2 phone calls, but did return the 3rd. Once we got in touch with them, they came reasonably promptly and did the work well.

Great responsiveness and service by the company. I called at 730 am with a non-functioning water heater and I had a new one functioning by 11:45 am.The service professional was at my house by 8:30 am. He went over the non-functioning water heater to see if he could save it. It really was obvious that it needed replacing as it was leaking and the elements not working.We discussed various options for replacement. I wanted a quality unit with a 10 year warranty for both the tank and parts and that was what I got. I was able to use the Angie's list discount of $50. Everyone in the company was responsive. I now have the most hot water I have had in years. Everything was cleaned up. I could not have asked for more. It was a very good experience. This is the first time in my life I can say that about a water heater installation and I have had many of them.

We chose Pine State largely because of their reputation. I have utilized them for repairs to our old system and always been very happy. They are highly responsive, very quick, professional and leave their work-space cleaner than they find it. We did do some comparison shopping, and it is clear to me that they are not the cheapest option out there. However, this is a very large investment no matter who you go with, and one that should last a long time. We selected them because of their past record servicing our needs as well as reviews by others. As well, we were drawn to the Bosch system that they install. We have very good experiences with Bosch products in the past and I had never heard of the competitors system that was quoted to me. It may be just fine, but... In short, I think their price is fair, and would rate them superlative on every other count. When making this large of an investment, and one that is so vital, I am happy to pay a little more to get the gold standard in both quality and service. And, so far, we have not been disappointed.

They were very professional. They installed a new generation Nest wi-fi thermostat. Dan Comeau was the installer, he arrived in the time frame specified.

The man arrived on time ( a little early actually), carefully read the complex instructions and then went to work. It took him 6 hours to install the toilet with new water and discharge plumbing plus clean up time. He tested all the connections for leaks and the toilet to make sure it worked properly.

In a word my experience was perfect. Lee the owner came for the sales call; he is personable and extremely knowledgeable. He walked me through every step of the process and set realistic goals for the install and met or exceeded them. Lee's crew was on time, extremely knowledgeable and very courteous; they wore booties in our home and kept our comfort as their #1 priority. They finished on time and left the house and yard exactly as they found it. The new system is everything Lee said it was and more. The only negative is I have that why didn't I do this earlier feeling. Going from oil to propane is like going from eating off the street to a kitchen; it's far cleaner and much more quiet. I did experience a propane leak on a Saturday. Lee's emergency service had a crew out to me in less than hour, and I live in a remote area. The tech called in the primary installer and the both of them worked quickly to find the leak and secure our safety. The leak was on the regulator installed by the propane company not Pine State. Let's guys stayed with me all afternoon until the propane people showed up. In the end Lee's techs fixed the leak and checked the system, it was the only way for us to feel safe. After at least 3 hours on a Saturday when all was fixed I was told with confidence from the Pine State techs there would be no charge. When I said its o.k. I intend to make the propane company pay the bill, I was told no thank you we stand by our product. When I contacted Lee I got the same response. The propane guy slipped a bill for the propane under my door, a bill for the propane to replace what was lost by their faulty install. In a depressed economy when most companies are cutting services and value Lee leads Pine State with the honesty and integrity we all should strive for. His pride in his company shines through in his crew, and it is as refreshing as rain in the high desert to see their pride in Pine State and their certainty that Pine State will do right by their customers. Will I use them again? For everything they can do, I'm thinking of asking Lee to teach a course on business ethics! I can't say it any clearer, a perfect experience; it gives me hope in a economically depressed America. I can't recommend Pine State highly enough.

As noted the project was carried out professionally. My informed questions were handled with clarity and honesty. They stuck with their estimate, timetable, and promise of follow up service (clamps used for the hot water pipes needed to be upgraded to hold the weight of the pipes). I found the workers diligent, applied and sensitive to the fact that they were working in my home. Two years down the road, my wife and I are thrilled with the performance of our new system and use Pine State each fall to check out/ service the system as needed. It has needed no repairs, only cleaning.

Lee was punctual and professional when coming to the condo for the estimate. He provided the estimate within 24 hours. We did play phone tag over several days when trying to schedule the work (thus the B), but then discovered that email worked better than phone and it was smooth sailing from there. The technician that did the installation was friendly, professional, and neat in the work performed. He took time to explain the features of the water heater, and made recommendations as to its use. Overall it was a very good experience working with this company and I would hire them again.

Jim, the representative from Pine State Services, called right away after getting the reference from the Mitsubishi web site. He was available quickly to see the house and provided a written proposal within a few days. it was sent by email at my request. I was out of town but was able to work with the staff to put the deposit down and get the work scheduled. I wanted to be there when the work started so I could go over the entire installation with the techs. There was a small problem with the scheduled date in that not all the nesessary parts came on on time and there was a one day delay. I was not available the next day to go through the installation with the service techs, so the service manager came out on the original scheduled date, with one of the owners, to do the walk through. He then came out the next day with the techs to make sure all the details were right. So even though there was a small problem, they made it right. The techs were capable and friendly and put on booties when entering the house without being asked. They got everything done in the two day schedule, filled out the warrantee paperwork, demonstrated the equipment and left the house neat and clean. The system installation was planned well and installed with no fuss. At the recommendation of the service manager, we changed the original location of the outside condenser and are very happy we did, We moved it to a location near a bedroom, but away from our backyard gardens. We had been concerned that it would be too noisy near the bedroom, but were assured it would not be noisy and indeed it is fine.

They were superb from time to finish. It was a good estimate. They did good quality work. They cleaned up after themselves and came when they said they were going to come. Everything about it was outstanding.

When it came time for the appointment, the serviceman was a no show. After a half hour, i called to find out why and was told that he had been in a meeting and was running late. When i asked how late, was told that he would not arrive until an hour and 15 mins after the scheduled time. Given this was for an 8:00 a.m. appt, my husband and i had rearranged schedules for the appointment and i was more than frustrated that no one had called to tell me he was going to be late. I cancelled the appointment.

We thought we had an emergency on our hands and called Pine State right away. Jennifer and Sam were quick to arrange for a technician to be sent to our home asap. Sam even reminded us of some safety proccedures that we should do. We were delighted to see that Steve, the technician that did such a wonderful job with our Rinnai install last year came to the resuce. He was professional and prompt with his assessment of the situation. His work was done quickly and efficiently. He answered every question we had and was thorough in his explanation of how our situation occured. We paid a very reasonable fee for his services and would welcome him back to work on our home anytime. Thank you Steve!

The installation went very well. Steve and the other tech were both very professional and on time. We paid what we were quoted and we got a very nice unit installed. I look forward to working with Pine State Services in the future.

Great service, professional people, very responsive and helpful.

Overall very good. The only snag was that it wasnt clear that I would need to install an insulated chimney liner if I purchased the more efficient furnace. So that was an extra $1,100 I did not anticipate. But overall I was very pleased and highly recommend.
