Micah with Rooter Man was excellent! He knew what he was doing, worked quickly, was up front about cost, and solved my problem! I would definitely call Rooter Man again, and I would definitely ask for Micah.

We had an odor in the home that comes and goes and were unsure what was causing it. The call was for this issue, but we also wanted info/estimates on a ton of other smaller projects (we bought our house not too long ago and it needs some repairs). Plumber came out and unfortunately, the odor was not occurring during this time. Tried a few different things to have it occur but was unable to. He did a few checks for leaks and vent pipe issues and did not find anything. No issues with that work what so ever. Spent another 30 minutes or so listening and going over additional work and projects that I wanted/needed to get done. All in all, was there for around an hour (maybe more). Guy was friendly and seemed to know his stuff. Was told he would get back to me with quotes, and that he had to charge me for the hour at the "lower" rate ($95). Again, no issues here - I thought it was a fair deal even though the main office said I would get a free "estimate" on work. It's been a week (came Tuesday it's now Wednesday) and I have not heard back from plumber on estimates. Troubleshooting was fine for an issue that could not be reproduced at the time and so hard to pin down, but I was hoping for a response by now with estimates on the rest of the work that needed to get done. So for value in the money I spent, nothing really got fixed (aside from troubleshooting). I'll update the review if/once I get a response.

I had a drainage problem at my place in Raymond Maine. The plumer who showed up was just a kid. He extremely polite and an excellent worker, but very limited experience. The worst part is they sent him from 2-1/2 hours away in southern NH and charged me for his drive time! As if there aren't any plumbers near Raymond Maine !?!?!? Why did they accept the job if they couldn't support it with someone local? As it turned out, he didn't have the necessary equipment so I had to ask a neighbor who their local plumber was. I called him and they were there in less than an hour to fix the issue. The kid from NH actually stayed to help. One day he'll be a super valuable employee, my hat is off to him.

The clean up after the first visit was not acceptable. He stated he would return to complete the work. He NEVER returned or called with explanation as to reason. Called for a second plumber to finish the job that was incomplete. The second plumber did finally complete the work. We were able to get water turned back on after two weeks of waiting and no showers. Tech was very polite, however stated he would have to rip out insulation in the floor (Insulation was NOT replaced. Additionally he stated there was NOT a warranty on the work) Had we known the work was not warrantied it would have had an effect on choosing this company. This tech did attempt cleaning up after he finished in the bathroom but we still were left with "chunks" of debris on the floor. Additionally shortly after we were contacted by the Water Department stating the they were not able to read our meter. That required the installation of a new water meter by the Water Department. Not saying the meter failure was caused by the plumber...seems an odd coincidence. The job that should have been approximately $150.00 - $250.00 ended up just short of $1000.00 to clear a clog.

Prompt and professional. Showed up on a Sunday and completed the job successfully.

There was a problem with communications. The first plumber from this company gave us his home phone and said he would have to come back Monday because the clog was so extensive. We waited not having had plumbing for dishes, shower or clothes for three weeks at that point. He never came back. Finally called company again and they sent another man out the next day and he fixed the problem. I would hire them again but make sure you speak directly to the home office at all times.
