See above, not well. I've used Belair engineering for the past 20 years and was satisfied. I was very disappointed with this experience. I won't use them in the future.

Belair sent out a representative to talk with us about their systems, he didn't really go into too much detail or give us many options. For this reason we almost didn't go with them, but after a couple phone calls to the representative I realized that the reason why he didn't go over many details was because Belair is very very familiar with our neighborhood, so they do tons of installations in houses just like ours all year long so they know what products work best for our type of house, and that's what they were recommending. After realizing they were extremely knowledgeable, we ended up going with them, and we're very very happy that we did. The day before they were going to do our installation, they called and asked if they could reschedule for the following day because they had a guy out sick. We were fine with that, and then two days later they called prior to arrival and were right on time. They started by looking at our current system, and then began to remove it. Installed all of the new equipment, made sure that it worked properly, went over the new system with us, showed us how to use our new thermostat, and made sure they addressed any questions or issues before they left. Overall it was a great experience! :)

The sales rep arrived on time and provided me with several options and provided me the install date The installers showed up on time, removed the old equipment (not a small task), installed the new system, explained how to operate it, and cleanup afterwards. I could not ask for a better experience.

We have a new HVAC system that we bought 3 years ago. We have had a service agreement with them since the time we bought the system. They come out twice a year and do a complete check up. They change the filter and do whatever that needs to be done. Recently when we had a plumbing emergency we called them in the morning and someone was here within 4 hours on a service call to repair it. They have always been here when they said they would be. Their technicians are very neat. They come in the house with booties on their feet depending on the weather. We are very pleased with their services.

My wife likes them a lot. It is a woman owned firm that she has been using for many years. They do a check and are careful when they come into our home. They are professional, responsive and their prices are good.

The work went well. They had originally installed my entire heating system. They did well. I would definitely recommend them.

Senior tech appeared and performed the work specified. He left without checking the operation of the system at the thermostat; after he left, the unit could not be operated from the thermostat. Belair was called and the tech returned 2 hours later and fixed his error. When the system started, there was a vibration in the system that was not present prior to the "repair" work. It was determined that the tech had installed an incorrect muffler at the outside unit. A reschedule was in order to install the correct muffler and this was done 2 days later. Once again I began to chart performance of the system. I found that in spite of my $1019 expenditure, the system operated exactly as poorly as it did before. I kept stats for a period of time, then faxed the stats to Belair's service manager. I followed the fax up with 3 phone calls over a two week period; these were routed to voice mail and not returned. After 2 weeks, Belair retuned the call. Service manager stated he would research the issue and get back to me. After several days, Belair called and stated that the device now needed indooor and outdoor TXV's and the system purged and recharged. This they said would be a warranty job, without charge. Tech appeared and preformed the work at no charge. Unit is being monitored and operates exactly as it did before the $1019 service-unit runs all the time, house is cold, inlet gas temp is 100 degrees or less on a 30 degree day, and now the emergency heat doesn't work.

The best thing about them is their availability. If you have a problem at 5:00, they will get to you that same day. They have someone on call until midnight and they have Saturday hours too, which a lot of service providers don't.

It went excellent. Our blower had went out in the furnace, instead of getting a new blower we decided to get a new furnace. They actually installed a blower temporarily until they could get out to do the furnace. They were very accommodating. The service was excellent, the crew was great. Worked really well. They listened to my questions, even made an adjustment or two based on what I had asked.

This was the only company to respond of 5 companies I called on the list. There was a $199 charge for a same day dispatch. The charge for the work done was very reasonable and the technician was very professional, informative and friendly.

The salespeople were very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining the unit, working with us on location and what would be involved in the installation. The team that did the installation was extremely organized, polite and efficient. We ran in to some difficulty with final approval through the county and they kept working until everything was successfully resolved.

Technician was courteous and upfront about costs and problems.

They did a great job. They were on time, and the quality of the work was wonderful. They got done very fast. They also cleaned up afterwords. They left everything looking great.

I had to make an emergency call to Belair Engineering on a Saturday morning because I had no heat in my house. I had called several other companies the previous afternoon and evening, all of whom told me that they could not come to my house until the following Monday (temperatures outside were below freezing and the power had been out for three days due to a recent ice storm). Belair was the ONLY company I contacted who said they would come out that day due to the fact that I had no heat. They could not give me a time, but said that worked on all 'no heat' calls until they were complete! The technician arrived three hours later, fixed the heater, told me what the problem was (a condensation line was frozen, which was not an expensive fix; the emergency service was the bulk of the cost), and installed a part that I could remove and fix myself if the problem were to happen again.

All ductwork was cleaned (vacuumed, brushed, and treated with mildicide). Workers were polite, efficient and did an excellent job.

A little disappointed after reading the positive reviews and finding out they don't come into the city.

Overall experience was favorable. Have been using the company for many years. They gave the details for various options. The work was completed in a timely and professional manner.

VERY PLEASED WITH BELAIR ENGINEERING WORK, THEY WORKED ON MY OLD FURNACE SYSTEM AND I HAD THEM PUT IN A NEW SYSTEM AND THEY DO ALL THE MAINTENANCE AND THEY WILL DO A YEARLY CLEANING.

THE WORKER (ERIC P.) WAS PUNCTUAL AND QUITE PROFESSIONAL. HE GAVE HIS HONEST OPINION AND HELP GUIDE IN THE RIGHT DIRECTIONS ABOUT THE REPAIR. THE COMPANY WAS CALLED ON A WEEKEND AND WAS ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE US IN A PROMPT MANNER.

FINE JOB AS USUAL. ALTHOUGH A BIT LONG IN RESPONSE TIME. CALLED 8:15 AM AND ARRIVED 5:10 PM. THE FURNACE QUIT APPROXIMATELY 6:00 PM THE NIGHT BEFORE DURING ONE OF OUR RECENT COLD SPELLS, SO BY 5:10 THE NEXT DAY IT WAS EXTREMELY COLD AT OUR HOUSE. I UNDERSTAND THIS IS A BUSY TIME OF YEAR, THEREFORE I UNDERSTAND HOW LONG IT TOOK FOR THEM TO ARRIVE.

THE WORK EXPERIENCE THAT WE RECEIVED FROM BELAIR ENGINEERING WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE SERVICE TECHNICIANS WERE PROMPT, FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS. WE ARRANGED TO HAVE A SERVICE CONTRACT WITH THEM FOR OUR FURNACE AS WELL.

AS IT TURNED OUT THE OVERFLOW VALVE HAD BEEN INACTED BECAUSE THE TEMPERATURE HAD GOTTEN TOO HOT INSIDE THE WATER HEATER CAUSING IT TO OVERFLOW. I HAD AUTOMATICALLY ASSUMED I WAS GOING TO NEED AN ENTIRE NEW UNIT, BUT THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM AND TOLD ME THAT I DID NOT NEED TO PURCHASE A NEW ONE. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE HONESTY SHOWN.

WE HAVE A SERVICE CONTRACT WITH BELAIR ENGINGEERING AND HAVE HAD THE CONTRACT FOR SEVERAL YEARS. WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE AND COURTEOUS THE EMPLOYEES.
