At Granite Garage Floors our only business is upgrading garage floors with a coating system that Looks and Last Like Granite. Gone are the days of having a drab unsealed concrete or gray painted garage floor that easily stains and leaves hot-tire marks. Our system focuses on preparation in addition to the use of industrial grade products - both of which are critical to a long lasting system that is extremely durable, resists staining, and is easy to clean. Our customers can choose from hundreds of designer color finishes to look like Granite, Quartz, or Terrazzo. Furthermore, we stand behind our professionally installed system with a “Life Time Satisfactions Warranty” that is guaranteed against hot tire pick-up

I was hesitant at first to go with a company with little reviews locally. The company is franchise-ish of sorts and the only reviews I came across were for ones in other cities. After corresponding with Lauren and then following up with a meeting with her husband, I felt I could take a chance with them. I am glad I did. They used materials that are high quality (go read up on epoxy/garage flooring on garage journal), the installer who is their partner is experienced and isn't 'learning' on the job, and their prices are some of the best in the area. Their website does a great job of explaining their process and options available. I went with GGF after I did over 40 hours of research to figure out how I can do this on my own. When I considered the costs of 100% solids kits available on specialty retailers online, grinder rental, diamond grinder attachment wheel, angle grinder, diamond wheel...the list goes on and on. In a nutshell, it was over $800 for materials/rental alone. Then, theres the whole skill thing and experience. This is a 1 time DIY, so I can do it and do OK with it, but never have to use that skill again or improve. Also, I may just botch the job and wasted the cost of materials and worse - time. At this point I shopped around and felt it was WELL worth the added cost to save my weekend and get it done professionally with a lifetime warranty! Laurens pleasant and so is her husband. They were willing to meet me. Others in the area wouldn't even take the time to come meet me face to face...they were too busy minting money that I would be wasting their time - "weakhold" Our concrete is fairly new as the home is only 4 years old. Having said that it was easy for them to prep - plus the concrete I am told was a bad quality concrete making it extremely easy. One thing, which is more of an oversight, is most garage floors have a 'gap' of 1/8-1/16 inches where the stem wall meets the poured garage floor. This is because your foundation forms are poured way before the garage floor. I spoke with and read several posts where sealing/filling this gap with a silicone caulk or other material is 'standard' practice. I assumed this to be the case, but the installer did not do so. I am sure if I had brought it up after grinding they happily would've done so, we just had a slight assumption and miscommunication. Not a big deal. I will go over it myself with some caulk and GGF happily said they will send over some of the color chips so it would blend in correctly. I will just spray a poly over top of these spots.
