Sandra and Adriane were excellent. They arrived right on time and had coordinated well in advance so there were no surprises the day of our event. They dove right in after some initial orientation. They prepped and laid out platters, decorated, smiled, laughed, and worked to keep the party clear of dirty dishes, cups, etc. They stayed an extra hour because we didn't what them to leave!!!! Our guests were hugging them as they departed! The next morning we were so glad to discover the majority of our platters and cookware were sitting on the counter clean and ready to put away. What a pleasure! This our second experience with Xtra Pair Of Hands and they are terrific. I will be hiring them for any event at my home in the future. They make everything so much easier and more enjoyable.

Donna and her team were on time and immediately got to work. Donna had to remind me to get out of the kitchen at the start of the party and go enjoy my guests. It is such a habit of mine but I quickly accepted that they had everything under control. They were fantastic. I was able to really relax and had a great time. They were very professional and took care of everything from greeting guests at the door, taking their coats, replenishing food, getting more ice, cooking, and passing appetizers. I will definitely hire again!

Everyone else I talked to wanted to provide the food for the party as well & I didn’t need that. This company did not require that & they were wonderful! The girl showed up 20 minutes early & jumped right in. She made sure all my guests had what they needed & worked with right tone all through the evening. At least 6 or 7 of my guests took her card with them! She was just wonderful!

Donna provided six people to help with my daughter's wedding. We had volunteers scheduled, but I was worried that it wouldnt be enough help. She showed up with her people on time. She asked what needed to be done and after I told her she took cafre of everything. There was no fuss, no drama, no confusion. She took charge and made everything work. Whatever I asked for, she said "no problem". In a word, she was magnificent.

We had planned a reception at a venue that had to be changed at the last minute. I was now having it at home and had a weekto get ready. Extra Hands was one of many services I called. Ms. Morrris returned my call to say she was on vacation but she would see what she could do. She stayed in touch with me for the next two days and gave me extremely useful suggestions of services she uses. Unfortunately, all of her help was already engaged, but she was so helpful I would certainly call her for anything else I amhosting.

Highly recommended. She was wonderful. She really helped make the wedding flow smooth and took care of things without us having to manage everything and tell her know what to do.We'll definitely try to get her assistance again if and when we have another party...

The overall experience was simply terrific! Donna from Extra Pair of Hands helped me to organize and run my wife's 50th birthday party, a 'Vegas/casino' themed event with about 60 guests. She was very helpful in giving me ideas for planning - what to buy, what to serve, what's popular on the bar...'. She arrived at the party exactly when she said she would, and her 2nd extra pair of hands (Sandra) arrived a little early (to avoid any traffic snafus).. Both ladies were quick studies and learned fast where I had placed party supplies and things around the house (e.g., extra plates, cups, beverages, wine glasses, food, ovens, coolers, etc) so they could easily find things without having to "find" me first.. Both ladies were well dressed and wore aprons to keep themselves clean - and to let the guests know that they were there to help out. Donna dove right in upon arrival, helping setup chafing dishes, utensils, and so on - and gave Sandra a quick tour on her own. Through the entire event, they were both on the ball - always moving about and keeping things fresh and clean - (stirring the food in the chafing dishes so they wouldn't dry out, filling the water in the chafing tins, emptying trash and recycle containers and refilling the bags, refilling my punch pitchers, picking up empty cups/plates, helping guests that left early to make "plates to go".. Just as an example, at one point in the early evening, I walked out onto the deck to hang with guests at the Craps table, and I just happened to notice an empty plate and cup sitting on one of the cocktail tables - and within a few seconds, Sandra magically appeared and swooped them up! It just seemed like they were always where they needed to be, before I knew they were needed. I've never felt THAT relaxed at my own party, and more importantly, my wife (who normally runs these things) was able to have a wonderful time! Many of my friends asked about their services and some said they would hire Extra Pair of Hands for their parties. Donna and Sandra were so warm and friendly that some of my guests asked them to dance :) They were great sports! Oh, and the party ran a little long but both ladies agreed to stay an extra hour when they could *easily* have stuck to the original plan had they made other commitments. The services provided were a great value and allowed me, my wife, and our families to enjoy a great night without having to worry about anything - guests, food, bar, or house.

Xtra Pair of Hands were prompt and they paid attention. They did anything we wanted done. Including picking up the wedding cake! They were very professional and they listened. I plan to use them again and I would certainly recommend them.

Donna paid a preliminary visit before the day of the dinner to assess what would be required. She rapidly understood what we were looking for. Several days before the dinner date she telephoned just to check on any last minute changes. On the day of the dinner, Christmas day actually, she arrived 15 minutes early and immediately got started. She spent 4 hours here and left everything in good order. We were very pleased with the quality of her services and her warm and friendly yet professional demeanor. We were more than satisfied with all aspects of her performance. We consider ourselves fortunate in being able to call on her help on Christmas day. She told me that her hourly rate on Christmas would be higher than her standard rate of $120/hour, and we fully expected that to be the case. What we paid was very reasonable, and very good value.

Rocio arrived a few minutes late because our address was not in her GPS but it was completely fine because she was still there well before the guests. She was so nice and professional and could not have done a better job!!!! We were thrilled. We have already booked Donna for New Year's Eve and for a dinner party in January. We would highly recommend Donna's service and Rocio for any event!!!!

Donna and her staff were amazing. They handled everything from start to finish. Everything from setting-up the guests and food tables, preparing the food and keeping the serving trays replenished, even cutting and serving wedding cake - no detail was overlooked. Because Donna had everything well-in-hand I was able to relax and enjoy the wedding.

WOW! Donna nad Sandra were excellent. I was able to enjoy the party and they did all of the cleanup, serving etc. Donna is smart, pleasant and effective. She interacts well with guests and keeps everything on track. I will use her services again. They are very reasonablly priced.

Donna was amazing!! On the day of the party she ran quite a few pre-party errands---picked up platters from Costo and picked up chicken from popeyes. She came about 45 minutes before the party -- she put food in bowls, set up the buffet table, opened wine, set out drinks, put cushions on the patio chairs. It was all so helpful. Once the party started when people brought flowers she put them in vases, she made coffee when guests asked for coffee, she cleaned up throughout the entire party, she kept the buffet table looking neat and orderly and 'refilled' -- she set out the birthday cake, put in the candles, did the cake cutting -- she did it all which freed me up to visit with my guests and enjoy myself - it was the first time ever that I've been able to enjoy a party and not be doing everything. What a treat for me!!! I'd never had 'help' for a party before -- Donna just said to tell her whatever I needed and it would be done! I did and it was!!! Before leaving, Donna picked up and cleaned up as much as she could -- with guests still being there. With all that she did, when the party was really really over, there was not much that I had to do except put a few things into the refrigerator. Donna is amazing -- she provided outstanding service and yes, I have been telling everyone that will listen what a terrifically nice person Donna is and what a wonderful service she provides. I highly recommend her -- she does good work and she is good people!!! When I start thinking about having another party, one of the first things I'll do is call Donna to coordinate dates -- if she's not available on a particular date -- I'll schedule my party around her availability -- yes, she's that good!!!

Before the event, we emailed Donna a detailed list of serving instructions (what to serve and when, location of serving dishes, etc.). When she and her staff arrived, we walked them through the kitchen, reception and dining areas and discussed the schedule and tasks. They were very quick studies, obviously knowledgeable and experienced. Throughout the 7 hours they were with us, Donna, Leo and Eddie worked with consummate professionalism. They prepared and served skillfully, attentively and politely. They cleared the tables and washed all china, crystal and tableware efficiently and so unobtrusively that their presence was hardly noticeable. By the time the last guest departed, the cleanup was virtually completed. Xtra Pair of Hands DC did an absolutely outstanding job for us in every way, and at an extremely reasonable cost. We would give Donna Morris and her staff the highest possible recommmendation.

The event went great and Donna did an excellent job. It was great have an 'extra pair of hands' at the party to help keep track of what guests needed. Donna was a real pro and will hire her again when we have our next party.

Donna was amazing and I couldn't imagine having another party at my house without her. I was very anxious about managing the flow of food service, cocktail service & guests at my small house for my husband's 30th birthday party and Donna absolutely came to the rescue. She responded to my email the very next morning, followed up promptly at all times, called to check in on party preparation on the day of, arrived early to assist at my (last minute) request, ran all aspects of food & beverage service at the party, and stayed past the end of the party to manage clean-up. Donna was extremely polite and professional at all times - so much so that my family and friends are already asking for her contact information. I recommend Donna absolutely and without hesitation.

The two women sent from Xtra Hands were terrific. They arrived on time, were very helpful in setting up, cleaning up and keeping things running during the party which enabled me to talk to the guests!
