Called on emergency basis; plumber (Chris) came within an hour or so, a little sooner than promised. Courteous, straightforward, answered questions readily, etc. Did his best to minimize expense and openings in walls. Leaking pipes were in hard-to-reach places, and diagnosis took several hours. Because repairs were estimated to take 4-6 hours and we had to leave for the day, he agreed to return following day; installed valve as temporary measure to isolate problem areas so we would have water elsewhere in house overnight. Accommodated our schedule and activities as much as possible. A pleasure doing business with him.

Called because of leaky water meter. I was told that plumber would arrive soon and he did so within 1 hour of call. After looking at problem, technician reported that they had no meters like this and that I could call the water company to get free same day service. Received estimate for new water heater which is at end-of-life. Estimate seems way too high.

Went very well and quickly. No mess left behind.

I first contacted the company online from Angies List, requesting a quote. Mike called me that same night and his men were at the door promptly the next morning. They were hardworking, polite, explained the various processes to me and showed me how to do a few simple things myself. They also gave me information on additional services the company can provide.... not a hard sell. Just smart marketing. And on top of that they gave me a $20 discount because I was an Angies List member!

Did not show up for first appointment, apparently because of confusion between dispatcher and technician. But I did get 2 follow up calls to straighten things out, and an offer to come right out, even though by then it was very late. I was not in a hurry, so rescheduled for following week. Second time went fine: on time, professional, explained the options, did the work, cleaned up.

Very pleased with service, particularly with the care with which the serviceman explained what the problem was and how he proposed to fix it. Also, company provided service on a Saturday.

Appointment scheduled and project completed within 24 hours. Very easy process and friendly staff. When he told me the estimate I was surprised how expensive it was and after some discussion he offered to call his supervisor to see what he could do regarding the price. Because the work was not as complicated as expected, they were able to lower the price to a much more realistic cost. Edwin Fuentes was the plumber and he was very kind and efficient.

I called to schedule and the phone attendant was very courteous. The plumber Chris showed up less than 2 hours later, which was great b/c it was sort of an emergency. He was so polite and businesslike. I showed him the shower where the knob had fallen off. He consulted with his company by phone and proceeded to fix the shower. Then I showed him a gas pipe in the basement that needed to be moved, so he installed a flex line. He was done 2 hours after he arrived, wow! I especially liked how Chris had a book with prices so I knew he wasn't just making up the price or taking advantage of the fact it was an emergency. I was relieved.

I had used them before. They usually give you appointments for a few days later, not right away. They are very expensive if you hire them to do several things. They charge separately by job performed, not by the hour. The work they do is good and thats what is important.

Was in need of a check up for our A/C unit. They came on time and were great. Cleaned and checked the unit. Running great.

I found Clarks to be responsive and efficient. They arrived right on time and even were polite enough to call before they came to let me know they were on the way. They worked quickly and were very reasonably priced. I was very pleased with them.

This was great from start to finish. Steve Hartman, the president, came over to see the kitchen and provide an estimate. While he was there, he made some helpful suggestions and told me that we could have the layout the way we wanted (corner sink), while other contractors had told us we wouldn't be able to. Steve said you tell us where you want things, and we'll make the plumbing work. I appreciated that more than I can say. He also recommended a great carpenter, and a great electrical company, since we hadn't found anyone yet. Edwin did the work in 2 parts, disconnecting the old sink and garbage disposal and moving the drain lines and water lines. Then after the new counters and sink were in place, he came back to hook up the sink and dishwasher. He was always punctual, professional, courteous, and kept me informed while he was working if there were any spot decisions he needed me to make. Edwin was fantastic!

The company did a great job the whole way through. They came out very quickly and diagnosed as well as repaired the problem on time. It was a bit expensive, but its worth it. I am in the process of using them again, so I would recommend them.

They provide excellent service and sent two different people for an hour each to inspect the problem. After discussing the best solution and some alternatives, I actually spoke with the head of the company which was great. I was very happy with the service. Everything was top notch and very few companies now a days know how to service steam boilers. I highly recommend them to everybody I know.

When we called, they called back that day, gave us a time for the next day. Called prior to coming to our home to ensure we were there. The mechanic, John Batres, was knowledgeable and professional, as well as efficient. He also noticed some potential problems we could for see with our furnace, and we are considering having him do an estimate on replacing our furnace, which is 27 years old, because he seemed to give an honest assessment of our situation, and was very informative.

My air conditioning broke down. They promised to come out the next day. They showed up early and performed the work quickly. I was on a 30 minute conference call a few minutes into the visit and they were done before I got off the phone. They were very good. My only complaint is that they were very expensive. When I asked the repairman why it cost so much, he said the visit cost $59 and the labor to replace the wires was $200. He said that the office sets the prices. I paid but I would think twice about calling them again unless I got other estimates in the same ball park.

Great. Couldn't have asked for anything better. I called to make an appointment and, literally, someone was at our house in less than an hour. They identified the problem right away and came back the next day to install the new motor. Both times they were early and very friendly.

Plumber diagnosed the problem, explained the possible approaches to clearing the drain, provided estimates prior to starting the work and cleaned up afterward. We were very pleased.

Technically excellent, on time emergency service, polite, and business like. It went very well.

In both bathrooms the shower valve failed, the company replaced them at my expense and one of the valves failed again. I went to another company and they told me the valves they were using were substandard. The company took no responsibility on what was an $11,000 job.

The temperature and pressure gauge on the boiler was rusted out and needed to be replaced. Thomas E. Clark told us on the phone they could do the job for $198, unless the gauge could not be isolated, in which case the system would have to be drained and they could not estimate the cost until they saw it. Brothers John and Jason Batres were on time, polite, helpful and careful to keep our carpet clean. The 1987 boiler did have to be drained. The original estimate was the lowest of three, job was done in less than two hours and the company honored our Angie's List discount. I would use this company again in a heartbeat.

It took over 5 hours, but the work was done! Price was reasonable. Although the resulting mess took a while to clean, the contractor had to remove the toilet in our bathroom downstairs to get access to the main drain pipe.

He removed the water from the tank. I asked him if he was going to charge me for taking the water out of the tank and he said yes. I told him that I could do that but he didn't listen. He used a sponge that was filthy and he left a mess. I told him that I would pay $47 to have him do something that I could do. He continued to not listen so I refused to pay him. I had already paid $59 just for having him come out. They sent another service personnel out to reconnect the ball cock and the tube and remove the dirty water, and he turned the toilet on again, which I promptly told him to turn off water went back into the tank and the leak started all over again. There was water all over the bathroom and on the garage ceiling once again. I called them two or three more times and they would not come back out, and would not take or return my calls.

Excellent. We called the company on a Thursday morning, and they arrived right on time the next morning. The plumber called 15 minutes before arriving to advise of his status. He and his helper got right to work, they diagnosed the reported problem and worked to narrow other potential causes. They worked for about 8 hours and kept me informed throughout the work.
