We signed a contract for them to do the maintenance on our heating and air conditioning. They have been responsive and seem to know what they are doing. I'm pretty happy with them.

Edwin arrived right on time on Sunday morning and was up-front about his initial assessment ("Doesn't look good"). He went through the possible costs with me, and made sure that I knew I was paying a weekend premium so that they didn't do any work that wasn't absolutely necessary that day. He and his assistant seemed to work hard to clean the line out, despite the fact that by the second time, we knew it was unlikely to get completely cleared out. Edwin did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. I had them come out again on Monday to do the camera work since Edwin made it seem that I would get a discount for paying the weekend premium. I didn't have the opportunity to shop around here, so I don't really know how their pricing compares.

We called Thomas E. Clark and talked to Aldo to schedule a service call right away after discovering that our water heater had leaked all over our finished basement. Another contractor had repeatedly diagnosed the problem as our A/C unit, which was absolutely wrong. Aldo dispatched Rick immediately to assess the situation and provide an estimate. They quickly scheduled a date to install a brand new water heater. Bakri handled the installation a few days later, and worked within our very busy job schedules. Both Rick and Bakri were extremely friendly, professional, and offered discounts to us without any prompting. After years of having worked with other contractors, we are never going to use any one other than Thomas E. Clark. They get our highest recommendation. They were honest, efficient and provided first rate customer service. They typically don't service our area in PG County, but went out of their way to handle our needs.

The repair was done efficiently by a pleasant and courteous technician. We were charged "after hours" work. The work began at about 4:45 and lasted for approximately 1.5 hours. The company responded quickly to our call.

Chris Garcia, the plumber who had also done the estimate, had predicted that it was a six hour job, including the knocking out of part of a wall. Before starting the job he explained everything that was going to happen and gave us various options on fixtures. The job took exactly the length he estimated and the installation went smoothly. He left the work site clean and everything is working well.

Very well considering. I started my plumbing repairs on Saturday before Labor Day, and got stuck with things I couldn't manage. I bought a replacement kitchen sink faucet, and then couldn't put it in after getting the old one part way out. Of 6 plumbers I called, only Thomas Clark was open to take a message, and they got me a plumber the next day. He came on Sunday, he did a fine job, he was cheerful, he minimized charges by postponing some things to a weekday. He was back a couple days later with a buddy and they worked off a list of items I'd accumulated. I can't tell if the price was right but the service was excellent. Our plumber said he'd worked for famous people like Nancy Pelosi.

My toilets in my house were bubbling and not flushing. Called Thomas E. Clark and they sent plumbers over right away. Plumbers diagnosed problem right away and fixed. Very professional, and left place very clean after they were done. Even sprayed down by back patio where sewage was backing up. I would definitely use this company again.

The junction box had a arching wire situation between two systems and it was suggested that we upgrade the box to avoid a more serious situation. The intial inspection fee was included in the total price. The guy that came out was very neat and he provided a prie list that showed me the prices instead of just writting it down and expecting me to accept that.

I must say that I was very pleased overall with the professionalism & responsiveness. I called up on Sunday night & got the answering service (who was very kind). I called back quite early on Monday morning & spoke with a very helpful guy who told me that someone would be to my house between 9 & noon. Around 8:30 I got another call that someone else would be more appropriate to come over to the house & he could come sooner, would that work for me! YES! Edwin Fuentes came over & basically took care of everything. He did have to get another person to come out for a little while to help him with the long snake that was used. But Edwin did a great job & was very professional. Thank you.

I had a number of questions and he was able to answer each question patiently. I didn't have any issues with the unit that Matt could find. The diagnostic fee was $99 and there was trip charge of $69. The price was a little more expensive than others. I would have like to know the cost prior to them coming out. Nevertheless, I'm comfortable with the assessment that Matt provide and think it was money well spent.

For the ceiling job: 2 guys came out and opened a hole about 7 inches in the ceiling. He said he couldn't see anything, and even after I suggested he use a stronger light and open the ceiling more, he said he couldn't find the source of the leak and could see well enough without opening the ceiling more. He charged me $350 to not find the source- which they would have if they had been a little more diligent. I called another company, and after they opened the ceiling more, they found a pipe that was never properly capped! For the second issue- I complained to the management because I have always been very pleased in the past when I had used them. The office is quite professional, but the guys that have been sent out for these last 2 experiences were not great. I found them to be unprofessional and I was uncomfortable with their joking attitude. It really put me off.

After a little trial and error, the plumber isolated the problem and fixed it, and he didn't take very long doing it. The big deal was getting same day service when the hot water heater goes out. I called in at 9am, the problem was fixed by 3:30pm.

They did a good job. They followed up, was very courteous, helpful and explained to me what was going on with the situation. Did a good job cleaning up. Good attitude!

All employees were professional, courteous and tidy. The man who gave the bid, George, offered several helpful tips for rearranging the bathroom and tackling other household issues. They always answered the phone when I called and were available to work when I was ready for them. The job wasnt cheap but the price seemed fair -- it took them roughly two weeks, all told, to complete. Those new copper pipes look very nice! At the finish there was a tiny drip from one fixture and the radiator wouldnt turn off. They promptly fixed the drip and replaced the thermostat line free of charge. Ive had some bad experiences with plumbers but these guys are absolute champs.

In the past we have used a relative who handled the servicing. Having no one ow we turned to Angies List. We could not be happier with the decision to call Thomas Clark. From the first phone call I was impressed by the superior customer service. When the mechanics showed up, John Batres and his assistant, I found them to be the most professional and positive tradesmen Ive met in a long time. They not only had great attitudes they were extremely efficient as well. We were so impressed by Mike, the dispatcher, and John and his assistant that we signed up for their Preferred Service Agreement. Thanks for a job well done...Jay Holt.

It was okay, but it could have been better. It seemed like they were a little more interested in selling me a new faucet for the tub than fixing the old one.

They did an excellent job. They had to come a second time to work on it. It had to be defrosted first.

Unlike an earlier experience with this same company which didn't go so well, the plumber who came to the house was very courteous (even taking care not to wake our sleeping toddler!) and did the necessary repairs quickly. I was also very happy that Thomas E. Clark sent someone to the house on the same day as my early morning call.

Awful. Unfair pricing for the job so I was forced to shop around.

The guy that came was very pleasant. It went well. They gave me a time frame that they would have the work done by, there was a delay but it turned out ok.

There was a little mix up toward the end of their service but everything turned out okay.

I had been banging my head against a project for several days when I finally gave up, swallowed by damaged pride, and called Thomas E Clark. The receptionist was incredibly polite and friendly and offered to get someone out the SAME DAY! I was amazed, but it fit my schedule better to set an appointment for the next morning, which was not a problem. Unfortunately, she could not give me even a ballpark estimate of the cost of the jobs without a plumber seeing them firsthand, but while that would have been handy (I am a new home owner and had never had to call a plumber before) I understand why she could not do so. I was given a window of 8:00-9:00 am. Chris (the plumber) called me at 7:35 to let me know he would be there in about 30 minutes, and arrived exactly on time. This was a huge help, so I could be sure to be really up and ready and mostly awake for his arrival, and of course that kind of punctuality is incredibly appreciated. I showed him the various things that needed attention, and he showed me the price list for each, and what the total would be. All of his work was incredibly efficient, detail-oriented, and expertly done. However, the best part about the experience was that he happily explained everything he was doing to me, gave me numerous tips and tricks, and even showed me a couple of things I could do around the plumbing quickly and easily, rather than having him do it and get charged for it. In essence, I got the jobs done that I needed, and had a mini-masterclass in plumbing at the same time, which was AWESOME! Chris was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and all around a great plumber and Thomas E Clark has earned a loyal customer after only one visit.

Extremely fast service, within a couple of hours of my call a service technician arrived! Replaced sump pump that was only working intermittently. Technician worked fast and diligently.

These guys do a good job-- they have done work for me before, and are always prompt, courteous and do the work efficiently. This time unfortunately the entire AC heat pump and AC Coil had to be replaced, which is very expensive, but Mike Hartman found a replacement York in order to save some $$. It took awhile for the parts to come in, but they made sure that they came in for the service prior to the settlement on the house. They are terrific and I would definitely recommend them.
