We scheduled the work, and it was completed in good order. An additional piece of work was needed that had not been anticipated, but when explained, it made good sense. However, because it had not been included in the original estimate he graciously did not charge me for that work. He dealt with my insurance company in a very efficient manner.
His work brought the car back to looking like new! Both body work and paint job were perfect. Antonio is extremely professional in dealing with customers. His prices are very fair. The quality of his work is exemplary. I would go back to him for auto repair work in a minute, and have recommended him to others.
He examined the vehicle and then took me inside to his work bays where he explained what needed to be done by showing me the detached front end from another vehicle. 15 minutes and $67 later, the work was completed and I was out the door.
While I acknowledge that this was not a huge job, I appreciate that Antonio took the time to explain everything to me personally. I'm sure he had much bigger jobs to deal with while I was there!
I was very satisfied with the service and will be bringing one of my other vehicles there for body work.
Overall, the service provided was very positive. Only minor issues, if at all. I was pleased with the quality of service and would feel comfortable using this shop again if I needed to.
Price
The cost was covered by the insurance company of the man who hit my car, so I'm a little indifferent on the price. However, I was surprised by how low the total amount was (only $900) as the entire front fender was replaced.
Quality
The fender was replaced without issue. The car was vacuumed and cleaned up nicely, which was nice. Two minor complaints:
1) There are some minor scratches on the front fender that suggests either that this part was acquired used, or that the mechanics scuffed the new fender during installation. Either way, it's not really that noticeable and I can live with it.
2) The mechanics left the old screws and bolts from the old fender in my cup holder for some reason. Not a problem at all, just unexpected.
Responsiveness
It took an extra day or so for the paper to get emailed to me after I had originally called and had my car towed to the shop. Also, when I had originally called I asked the receptionist about possibly getting an estimate for some tires - whoever I should have spoken with was apparently on another line, and I was told they would call me back, though they never did. Ultimately, not that big of a problem, but it's money out of their pocket I suppose. It felt like I was being proactive with my calls to them rather than the other way around, which is what differentiates an A from a B for me.
Punctuality
Work was completed in a very timely and efficient manner. No problem picking up my car once it was ready.
Professionalism
No problem with professionalism. The mechanic I spoke with provided excellent customer service, including walking through the estimate that was prepared and helping make sure that I understood it.
