Zivko showed up on time and completed the job within about 4-5 hours. I have used him before and have found his work to be meticulous. He also explains what he is doing and why. I also had him look at a shower faucet after I noticed that I wasn't getting enough hot water. He explained to me what needed to be done and said it was a simple enough job for me to do on my own, which I did successfully.

They arrived on time, removed the old water heater, installed the new one and arranged for inspection.

My electric water heater was leaking when it was changed from the lowest temperature setting to a higher one. At the lowest temperature setting, the water is only warm, but not hot. Zivko was able to determine that the problem was due to the valve and not the thermostat, and proceeded to drain the heater as well as the valve. This solved the leaking problem.

I left a message early in the day and he called mid-afternoon and asked if he could come by. He tried to snake the drain and realized there was another problem. He worked with me to find the problem, fix it at the same time and did not need to snake the drain after all. I now have a new plumber for all of my problems.

They were excellent. The price was reasonable and they were very nice.

It went very well and I coudn't be more pleased. Zivko arrived at the appointed time on the dot, and did a very nice, professional job. The job required some thought, planning, and ingenuity because of tight spaces, and the requirement not to disturb the recently remodelled bathroom. I've used Payless before, and Zivko has always exceeded my expectations. I will definitely call on him in the future for any plumbing needs.

This was our 2nd time working with him - the first time was at my mother's house - so we already knew he was excellent. For this job, I called and left a voicemail. He called me back within an hour or two - made an apt to check it out - which he did that same day. He told me what the problem was - gave me an estimate and offered to come by the next day to fix it -and that's exactly what he did. Perfect. He's a real professional - honest, competent, personable.

Issue resolved. I learned so much during the repair process. This man was patient, professional and he was willing to look at any items NOT on the original repair request. I call this the homeowners ... "Oh, by the way, can you look at this small issue?"The issue involved the backsplash in my kitchen area. He again, tried to figure out the mystery and gave a reasonable, and inexpensive solution to help me to investigate what might be going on in the walls. His forthright suggestion to hire a handyman was right on. And, he offered to come back and do any needed repairs--if any.

It was a hot day and we had no hopes of getting our air conditioning repaired. We called several places and those that responded were not able to get to us for several days. We were very happy with the plumbing service we received from Payless Plumbing & Heating in the past so we called Zivko. We were so happy to hear that since we were past customers he was able to get to us the same day. After performing an overall system check, he replaced our dual capacitor (which had been incorrectly replaced with two capacitors in the past) and confirmed we had the correct size and type of furnace filter. Zivko is skilled honest and a good person to work with. I would recommend him for any H VAC or plumbing job in your home.

Payless is a one man show. he showed up on time and ready to work. I was having an issue with a leaking kitchen sink and a clogged shower drain. He snaked the drain quickly and efficiently. We then looked at the sink which we determined needed replacing. This was a Thursday. He told me if I got the part, he would come back in Sunday to install. We went ahead and did that, and in the process found another problem with a connect disposal. He waited until I was able to get that piece and install everything at once.

Contractor arrived on time and did the job efficiently. A few years later, and we have had no problems. I don't know how he would perform if there was an emergency situation, but for our planned work he did a good job.

To our recently moved-in house that is over 70 years old, Zivko from Payless Plumbing performed the work to replace the original galvanized water pipe with copper. This involved tearing out a good chunk of the front yard, and using heavy construction equipment. Zivko was very thorough in explaining the entire process, and performed the work exactly as promised. Furthermore, he has been extremely responsive and helpful in resolving various unrelated water issues I've had since then. His patience and expertise in dealing with my late night texts asking questions--including his solution to one of the issues determined from camera phone pictures--are very much appreciated. He is and will be our go-to guy on all things plumbing in the future.

We called PayLess because we were happy with the work he did for us in November. He is friendly, efficient and clean. When you work with him he seems to love what he does. He is honest and upfront. You know what to expect before he starts and he tells you what to expect later. We've had no problems with his work, but if something wasn't right or to my satisfaction, I have no doubt that he would do everything to make it right.

We are pleased with them. He did a really good job. The price was fair. It took longer but they kept to the price, that’s the thing I do remember. Nisha was great, I remember his name even, the person they sent. Nisha was terrific. He is lovely.

Zivko came the next day I called and took a look at the job at hand and trying to fix it. Due to special circumstances (lack of certain pieces since the previous sink was a pre-installed one) he came the next day with a solution for my problem. Very professional and prompt, unlike a lot of other plumbers.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. The deal was $99 and I paid additional. They didn't really have the parts so they had to go get them. They were satisfactory. I don't know if I would use them again.

He did a wonderful job. He was very, very good. He did a good job on the difficult circumstances. We have used them once before. We live in a house where, for a few years, we have had clogged drains and we had to call Roto-Rooter in to unclog them. Finally, Roto-Rooter got so expensive that we couldn't call him anymore so we called Payless plumbers. They were so thorough that they put a camera down in our drains to see why we have so many clogged drains, and found out that the pipes of the water company were broken at the sidewalk. They were supposed to come out and fix them for us, and it has been 2 years, but the water company has not yet come to fix them. If they had not been so efficient in trying to find the cause of all our clogs, we would have never known what was causing them. The service was top.
