I called Mr. Z and got a very prompt response. I explained the project, he explained his pricing and we set a time. On the day of the service, he called in advance to let me know he was en route and arrived exactly on schedule. He completed all of the work in less time than he had estimated. We needed another part that I didn't have. He promised to find it himself and be back the next day. And he was here, once again right on schedule. Since then I've had him back for yet another small job - same good sense of timing, fairness, cleanliness. I consider this plumber a great find and would recommend him to anyone.

He was able to tell me what supplies I would need for the job so I could pick that up and home depot, which helped minimized the cost. I will use this company in the future.

He was ok. He was interested in selling additional things to me. He was a little brusque and was a bit of a salesman. He wasn’t the best nor the worst. He was a good worker. He is a little expensive. I spent less than $500 on that work. He is good for emergencies.

We received this service through an Angie's List deal for two hours worth of plumbing services. I gave a lower rating on responsiveness since the owner didn't go to much effort to get in touch with me when I left messages for him. However, once we did get in touch, he took the time to discuss my needs. His advice was contrary to what two other plumbers had told me, and I still don't know which one was right; we'd been thinking of replacing our two-handle shower with a single lever, but ultimately got another two-handle system. We purchased the parts ourselves, and the plumber did the replacement work. He is willing to work on weekends, which worked well for our schedule, and he arrived promptly and covered his shoes before entering the house. He measured very carefully and was able to locate exactly where in the wall he needed to cut out the drywall to get to the plumbing, so the cut was the smallest possible size. He explained to us why he needed to supply a few additional parts to adapt the connectors on the part we had purchased to the existing plumbing, something we couldn't have predicted before opening up the wall to see what was there. When he found that the new handle escutcheons didn't completely cover the holes in the tiles, he grouted around them and the job looks very neat from the outside. All in all, his work appeared very careful and took him a little over two hours, but in the end he gave us a break on the labor charge for the extra time as well as extending his normal warranty for labor on customer-purchased parts. With the Angie's List deal price, the entire job was done for about a third of what my other two quotes had been. So far the new shower is working just fine and I would use this plumber again.

I finally found a plumber that I will use again and again without hesitation. I would highly recommend Zivko to my family, friends and neighbors. He's not only very professional and detail oriented, but a pleasure to work with. Best plumber in the area. My yard is about 215 feet long and it goes up the hill. I love to garden, but to water all the plants I had to connect two 100-feet long hoses and it made it a difficult and time consuming process. Dragging the heavy hoses up the hill was no fun. When I called Zivko at Payless Plumbing, he responed right away. He came within a week to give me an estimate that was very reasonable and way below estimates I got from other plumbers for the same job. The price included labor and materials. On the scheduled day Zivko showed up on time and started working right away. He's very knowledgable, detailed oriented and professional. He thoroughly explained his approach to installing the new water line and the spigots in my yard. During the installation he kept me informed about his progress and answered any questions I had in a very professional manner. And at the end of the job he cleaned up everything and left the work site neat and spotless. I could not be happier with the outcome. The entire installation is neat and looks great. It also makes watering my yard so much easier. Since there are 3 new spigots in my yard, I can water everything 3x as fast. :-). Or I can simply attach soaker hoses and leave the water on while I do something else.

I really want to commend their professionalism. This guy was very top notch, and only did what was completely necessary. I have also recommended him to my neighbors, and they have also been very pleased.

All went amazingly well. I provided the parts, he provided the labor. Called me a half hour in advance, per my request, to let me know he was on his way. He arrived and got to work right away. Started with the faucet and though the sink causes a difficult access to the faucet connections, he didn't comment on that at all. Ensured the escutcheon (the plate that covers the additional holes) was straight and aligned properly on the sink. Made sure there were no leaks when he got done. Then he replaced the flange on the disposer. Ditto ensuring no leaks. He even got the flange properly aligned within the sink indentation so the flange has equal amounts of the indentation showing around the edge of the flange. So he pays attention to the little details that many plumbers don't care about. This is extremely important to me as I happen to notice the small details.

I had purchased 2 hours of services at a special Angie's List rate. The plumber was prompt, courtesy and knowledgable. One of our projects remained outstanding but this however was due to erosion of our pipe in an ancient house, and not his ability to address. Overall a favorable experience and I would use his services again.

Couldn't ask for better service, and it's always with a smile and a laugh. I'm more than willing to pay market rates for excellent service. Zivko charges WAY under the big guys and in my experience does a much better job.

I purchased the Angie's List coupon for this plumber who had offered 2 hours of plumbing service for $99. I figured why not try him out and get my already-purchased water purifier installed - a job which I could do myself in about an hour, but would be much easier to have a plumber do it for only $99? I called and left two messages on the "payless plumbing" voicemail. The plumber called back the next day and agreed it would be about a 60- to 90- minute job covered by the coupon and set an appointment to be at my place to install the water purifier around 730am Friday morning. He showed up at 830am, was polite, took about 90 minutes to do the install, and I was pleased. With 30 minutes left in the two-hour coupon, I asked him for an estimate of his total cost to install a kitchen faucet on another visit, if I bought one for him to install, and he said he could do that at a later date for $120. I called back later three times to take the plumber up on his offer to do my kitchen faucet, but have not received a response to my calls. Bottom line is that Payless Plumbing is probably among the best in this area, so I would recommend them to others.

I got a call almost immediately. The plumber set up an appointment the same day to inspect/estimate/repair the problem I had described. Very satisfied. Repaired systems are operating fine.

I used this contractor because of Angies List Big Deal. I think he was a bit overwhelmed with the response, he works alone. He called back reasonably promptly, and came promptly (actually early) to the appointment. He replaced the disposal as requested. The toilet fix required bolts/washers, for which he had to go to the hardware store, which was included in the overall service time. He asked for reimbursment for gas and extra pay for the extra time. Reasonable, except that a plumber might be expected to carry such things with him. This is a very small (one man) business, service is personal.

We had an excellent experience with Zivko of Payless Plumbing. Zivko speedily replaced the 100+ year old cast iron sewage pipe in our 1908 row house. When we called Zivko for an estimate, he came within one hour on a *Sunday* afternoon to thoroughly explain his approach to replacing the pipe (which was a complicated job) and answered all of our questions professionally and respectfully. Zivko's estimate was quite reasonable and below estimates of other plumbers for the same job. Zivko arrived on time to perform the job on a day of our choosing and completed the job efficiently, neatly, very professionally. He took time during the job to explain his progress so that we knew what was happening and at the end of the job, he cleaned up everything efficiently. Zivko's work ethic and professionalism proved that we chose the right man for the job! We would recommend Zivko to our friends and neighbors.

This company responded to a request for an estimate to repair leak under sink on the same day I called them. They assessed the leak, determined the main cause to be the faucet, and then returned the next day with a new faucet system that met the requirements I outlined. This quality apparatus was installed efficiently without delay and a second leak discovered under the sink was repaired without additional charge. I was surprised and pleased with the efficiency, professionalism, and honesty I encountered. I will not hesitate to call on Payless Plumbing for any future plumbing needs.
