I was extremely happy with Mr. Z, who always took time to not only explain the problem, but also demonstrate to me how to fix it myself going forward (such as cleaning the tankless how water heather). It seems some folks found him a bit chatty, but I didn't mind that since he wasn't charging an hourly rate and spoke mostly about the considerations of certain repairs. He installed a new air valve on an outdoor faucet that had ruptured from the cold....going the extra distance to replace the entire outdoor pipe for a minor additional charge. He very kindly went through the house and gave tips on how to clean our faucets and then more or less did the small stuff for free. I was shocked. I was extremely happy with his services and now have his magnet on my fridge which I plan to make him our go-to guy.

Awesome!! Super nice and super knowledgeable. I called on Sunday and he was here on Monday. The connectors around the valve were cracked which caused water to flood part of the basement. Assessed the problem, went to Home Depot came back and fixed it. He was able to explain what happened and showed me how he fixed it...tested the install. This cat is going to be my go to plumber.

My score of overall experience would be A++. Arrived on time, All projects asked went smoothly, Mr. G (Payless Plumbing) took time to explain every and all work he was preforming. Was given choice in plan of action to take when more than 1 option was available, to save time and expense. Noticed his attention to detail in cleaning and inspecting all projects he preformed. Much to my surprise he removed all packaging which the toilet came in (placed by back door) & removed old toilet which I had assumed I would have to dispose of, especially the packaging. I have enlisted Mr. G ( Payless Plumbing) to assist with more projects in near future, his Professional, Knowledgeable & Overall Quality of Services made me feel I was getting a true and honest Plumber after performance this day. Will definently recommend Payless Plumbing to others. It was a Positive experience which " I Thank Angie's List" for the opportunity of getting a qualified Plumber @ reasonable rate. This is a very old house which requires an experienced plumber which will not gouge my wallet due to address, take time to explain, and given the "option" of course of actions to be taken regarding expense.

They were fine. I wasn't crazy about him, but I was pleased with the work. He showed up on time and did the work promptly. The price was very good.

I set up the appointment via the email address. I received a quick response from the plumber, Zivko, who came on time. He spent considerable time showing me how to make sure that the pipe leading out to the faucet was drained of water to prevent problems during the Winter. He was very patient and demonstrated how I should do this. He was outgoing and communicated concepts clearly. This Angie's List Big Deal was an overall success! I plan to use Payless Plumbing again!

The estimate was free. They were very knowledgeable. We think they gave us a fair price and they are probably somebody we will do business with. They were on time and professional.

I bought a coupon for two hours of service, through Angie's List. I emailed the owner (I cannot remember his name), he responded that day. He actually showed one day early, but at the time we set in our email correspondence (he knew that I was home for a stretch of time, recuperating from some surgery). He got the leak fixed in about one-half hour, and was out of my house in 45 minutes, after inquiring if I needed him to look at or do anything else. I was impressed with his pleasantness and his work was first rate.

I called on a Thursday and was able to get an appointment for the next day. He arrived 5 minutes early. When he realized that he would need to replace the garbage disposal and pop-up stopper, he made a quick run to Home Depot to purchase supplies. He was very professional and made a point of explaining the work that he did. It was clear that he was interested in doing a good job. He was very pleasant and had a good sense of humor---a nice guy. And he cleaned up after himself.

They were teriffic. They were very careful and cheerful.

Zivko called promptly following my initial call and then called back a few hours later to let me know he was on his way. He talked as he inspected letting me know what it was he was looking for that would have caused the problem. He found the problem after about twenty minutes. made the repair in about five minutes and for ten minutesgave me additional pointers on how to keep this problem from recurring in the future. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I would use him again.

It turned out just fine. It was a Big Deal that I purchased. He scheduled on very short notice and he showed up on time. He explained everything about what he was doing and why he was doing it.

I was very happy with the plumber. It was half the cost of what I was expecting. He was extremely nice. I didn’t have any dislikes. I wish I had more for him to do. His professionalism was okay because he was a little chatty. I would use him again in the future.

The work done was professional and not half-fast. He kept the work area clean and thoroughly checked everything before saying the job was complete and ready for review.

Z was very quick and very professional. I should also say very contientous of the normal "droppings" that many service professionals leave behind after a job, so I really appreciated that. Faucet and pressure are still great months later. He even installed a bleeder in a convenient location to make bleeding the lines before winter very easy.

He was punctual, friendly, and courteous. He did the work very well even when the job would take longer to complete than he thought due to previous sloppy conditions of plumbing in the house. He was very handy and practical. He demonstrated how to take care of the parts for lasting use. We were comfortable having him around fixing and explaining things. Very helpful. Would hire him again. Would refer him to others.

Prompt efficient and completed job on same day as the estimate. The work was more complcated than it appeared on the surface yet a fair price was given and good quality work provided. we'll use them again!

He was very responsive although he didn't have a snake to clear out the drain, which I thought was part of their kit. He did have some other ways to clear out the drain so he was successful in doing that. It was a one-man operation. Overall I was satisfied with his service. It was a Big Deal that I had purchased so it was a good deal because it would have been several hundred dollars. He called me back very quickly and we sat up an appointment. He had to come back within a few days because he didn’t have the right tools. He was a very friendly guy. He was probably the friendliest plumber that I have ever met. I would consider using him again.

We used them through the special Big Deal offer and they did a great job. The price was very modest and they did the job very well. I was very satisfied. It was easy to make an appointment with them. They did the job and solved the problems.

Bought a coupon from you on line, called him, he recognized my name, appointment was easy to get, he arrived early and did the work quickly and professionally. He also showed me how I could deal with another plumbing issue as a DIY.

I bought the Big Deal coupon. He was very helpful in pointing out what the problems were and what was the step to resolve them. He just did a consultation. He was very responsive and was on time.

Prompt , clean, knew what he was doing. Took a bi9t of time in getting CVC piping. Otherwise, highly recommend.

ok. did some good things but were pushy on add on items

I purchased the "Big Deal" with Payless Plumbing for 2 hours of service because our garbage disposal has not been working correctly and has been leaking. On the phone when we scheduled the appt. he suggested that I buy a new one and he would install it. When he arrived, he was able to easily repair the old disposal and stop the leak, and told us we did not need the new one, which I returned. Since we had 2 hours of services already paid for, we also had him unclog a sink (which another plumber had told me nothing was wrong with), and evaluate our hot water tank, which is also not working correctly. Another plumber had told me we'd have to replace the tank, but he said that the elements could be replaced and it would be fine, given that it's not that old and that there are no signs of corrosion or leaking. We have not repaired the water tank yet, but I very much appreciated Payless Plumbing's honesty, and ability to repair things rather than replace them. We will certainly call him again for all of our plumbing needs. He was prompt, professional, and honest. Our garbage disposal is still working, and he also showed my husband what he did to repair it in case the problem happens again in the future, so we can fix it on our own. I have already referred Payless Plumbing to family members, who have also called him and been very happy with his services.
