All Aspects Waterproofing

This job went extremely well and we have already recommended All Access (AA) to someone having similar problems. The AA crew proved to be extremely professional, punctual and hard-working. They were careful to protect our house while they carried out immense amounts of concrete chunks and soil and brought in concrete. I especially commended their very experienced foreman, John, who patiently answered all my questions.

Robert Chickerio examined garage cracks of concern, explained their likely causes, recommended practices to minimize their further development, and indicated that no companty services were required. No charge as entailed.

I had what I thought was a small, but persistent, water intrusion issue in my basement. After having several other highly reputable waterproofing companies come out and give me estimates (all of which are highly rated on Angie's List), I had accepted that I would be spending somewhere around $3500-4500 on either excavation or installation of a pump / drainage system. After deciding to get a few more estimates before pulling the trigger, I called All Aspects on Thurday, Feb. 5th, and Jeff came the very next day. He showed up right at the beginning of the two hour timeframe and, after performing an inspection of the problem area, carefully explained what were the most likely causes of the issue and potential remediation strategies. He was careful in stating that in order to provide an accurate assessment of the issue and provide an estimate, he would need to see behind the wall. He ending up pulling off a section of the paneling at my request, and quickly identified the source of the leak was not a crack of the foundation, or water coming from the floor slab, but a leaking pipe behind the wall. Even after determining that this was a job for a plumber, Jeff helped me determine where the pipe was coming from and even applied anti-mold spray to the affected area for me. If I hadn't called All Aspects, I would've had a drainage / pump system installed and wasted thousand dollar and the issue would not have been solved. If you want an honest and accurate assessment of your leak issues, you should definitely give All Aspects a call. I'm certainly glad I did!

All Aspects Waterproofing company met and exceeded all of our expectations. Specifically, they: -kept all appointments and dates for completion. -quickly diagnosed the problem (failure of the French drain) -proposed the most cost effective and technical solution (replace it) -quickly resolved any work site issues when work began (cleared worksite) -performed work in an efficient, professional manner, including clean-up (dug into concrete, made a vacuum sealed room,replaced drain system, and repatched concrete) -answered all questions to our satisfaction -innovated and made improvements to related dehumidifier condensation pipe flow thru minor changes, which was technically not part of the contract, but which greatly improved the condensation flow and the look of the basement. We would gladly recommend All Aspects Waterproofing!

I called two companies on Angies List, All Aspects Waterproofing being one of them. They both sent inspectors out to survey my situation and my crawlspace. When I got their respective proposals, I was shocked. The one came back at $12,000 and had a whole series of redundant sump pump systems and battery backups, etc. The other, All Aspects Waterproofing , came back with a very realistic appraisal. Their inspector, Robert, called and discussed his appraisal and my situation, explained my options and clearly understood my true needs. The work that All Aspects Waterproofing's inspector outlined will be around $3500. I feel very good about their professionalism and anticipate a high level of service quality.

We needed a new sump pump. After talking with a representative from this company we felt that they were very knowledgeable and honest. Their price was very reasonable compared to other companies as well. Our new sump pump is working well and we would use them again if needed.

They did not try to push me into spending more money, they have a life time guarantee, and they worked very efficiently and got everything done and did a great job.

My wife and I bought a mid century home this summer, and knew we'd need to address several issues. Hurricane Sandy brought one issue to the fore front - a leaky basement that began to flood during Hurricane Sandy. We had absolutely no way to drain the basement - no sump pump was ever installed in the house. After getting several estimates we contracted with All Aspects Waterproofing to do some fairly extensive work. From the initial meetings with Jeff, we knew we were in for a great experience. Jeff took the time to meet with both my wife and I, and rearranged his schedule to meet with me after work. After a very detailed description of what our problem was and the possible solution, we signed off on a contract to have All Aspects dig up part of our basement slab to install drain pipe running the length and width of our basement, as well as to install a sump pump and discharge line. They only required a relatively small deposit up front to get started which was great. They took care of permits as well so that was one less thing for us to worry about. The work crew showed up on time, and they took the time to discuss the work. After we settled on a spot for the discharge line, I left for work. The lead guy on the job called me during the day with updates (much appreciated!) and he also called me at the end of the day to let me know what was next (two day operation). The quality of work was fantastic - this was not a small job. They had to tear up about 40 linear feet of concrete, lay pipe, gravel, etc, and then pour new concrete inside, and the same process outside to install a drain outside of our basement door. In addition to the drain and concrete, they also installed a high quality sump pump. After everything was done, they even re-installed our washer and dryer even though our contract specifically said that was not something that was included. After a few weeks with our new drain and pump, I noticed the discharge line was starting to pool water fairly close to our AC unit, so I called All Aspects to schedule an appointment. Expecting to pay for this, I was pleasantly surprised when Rusty came out and did the work free of charge. He moved the line to a new spot that we both agreed on. Everything was fine, but again, due to our new fence that went up (this was all happening at once) we started getting water pooling near our fence posts, and our neighbor's yard. Again, Rusty came out, free of charge, and this time ran the line well into our front yard (something we were told we may have to pay for when we initially signed the contract). 3rd time's the charm. The new location for the discharge line is perfect, and we couldn't be happier. After another few weeks, and a particularly rainy winter I had a few more questions about our system. AGAIN Rusty came out and patiently answered my questions, made suggestions and generally just took time from his busy schedule to make us at ease. All Aspects gave us great service, and great follow up service (which is rare in my experience). This review is long, but I just wanted to get the word out they All Aspects Waterproofing is a great company, they do great work, and they have no problem answering questions and coming out again and again to make sure you are satisfied. I would absolutely use them again for this type of work, and of course I would recommend them to anyone else seeking this type of work. I contacted All Aspects Waterproofing because they had given me free advice over the phone a year ago, which was right on point. I told myself if I had issues again I would contact the company due to their outstanding professionalism. While on holiday, the pipes to my sump pump disconnected and I was not sure I had properly reattached it. I also noticed what I thought was mold build-up in another room in my basement. I contacted All Aspects. The phone was promptly answered and an appointment was timely made. The technician Rusty showed up on time. First, he checked the floors. He informed me that there was no mold, but that due to a clothes drying rack, water was pooling onto the laminate that covers the basement floor. As a result, the resin that makes up and holds the laminate together was coming apart and creating what looked like it might be mold. Next, Rusty checked the sump pump. We had reattached it improperly. He fixed and tightened the pipe attachments and ensured that the pump was in good working order. He also checked the rubber flaps to make sure they had not broken down or needed to be replaced. Throughout the process he patiently explained what he was doing and gave me advice about what to look for in the future. He also gave me background on how sump pumps work and showed me where the line exits my home. I also asked for advice about sump pump back-up batteries, and other options should a storm hit. He went through each manufacturer and gave me the pros and cons of different manufacturers. He also told me he would follow-up with an email with the information he had provided me in person. Rusty was an excellent technician and a great teacher. My problems were addressed and the technician went beyond just fixing the problem to educating me. I could not be more impressed or pleased with this company!! They will continue to get my business in the future and I will be recommending them to my neighbors and friends should they have issues with their sump pumps or issues water in their basements. It went great. The inspector, Zeeker, showed up at the appropriate time and looked at the basement and outside the house. After spending about 15 minutes explaining how the water had entered and that there was no damage to our structure or other concern, he then spent another 15 minutes examining the rest of our basement. He found a bit of mold on a wooden beam and sprayed it with a solution he had in his truck. He did a good job explaining everything and laying out our options. I appreciated that he didn't try to sell me on work that wasn't necessary. There was no charge for the inspection. We were very impressed by his knowledge and professionalism, and we will definitely call All Aspects in the future if necessary (but hopefully it's never necessary!). Because my wife had set up the appointment but then couldn't be there for it, Zeeker told me to have her call him so that he could walk her through his diagnosis and recommendation. She left him a voicemail and he promptly called back and spent about ten minutes explaining everything to her and answering her questions. Talk about great service! We were very pleased overall with the experience.

We called All Aspects Waterproofing because our builder was trying to tell us we needed to take out the entire basement floor/stairs/walls/you name it. We wanted a second opinion on the water issue of our floor and walls. Zeeker Bozell was great and we have decided to get rid of the general contractor we hired. He explained why we had honeycomb cracks on our floor, didn't try to over sell us on anything, and provided a good price for the work we are planning to have done. He offered sound advice as well. He told us it is important to wait until June to begin the work. It seems like everyone now a days wants to take your money right away...not All Aspects. Zeeker's advice was to make sure we live through a heavy rain period and watch our basement walls and floor for water issues. Once we know those, we can be sure to have the correct plan set in place for repair. Our plan is to have two sump pumps put in, open up part of the floor where it has hollowed underneath, back fill and repair any cracked floor drains, and, seal all walls. Zeeker said we didn't have to dig out of the floor, but that is for our own peace of mind. We mainly need to be concerned about the hydraulic pressure on the walls. Our estimate for all this work came to just under $13,000. This is if we decide to have everything done at once. My favorite thing he said: ' there are two types of concrete: concrete that has cracks in it and concrete that is going to get cracks'. It's true! All concrete at some point or another will have cracks. If someone tells you that it won't, tell them to hit the road.!

The contractor attempted to sell us on a sump pump installation project that was well beyond what we asked for or needed. The price was significantly higher even based upon the work we did ask for when compared to another company. The contractor used scare tactics to sell us on his plan including claims made about health risk due to mold exposure. What I found most disturbing was his comment that many other contractors "hire ex-felons" to do their work and that we needed to be careful about going with a company that was not as careful as his in screening its workers.

I decided to go with All Aspect despite initially having a few issues with communication. The owners and Zeeker have worked with me to adjust the design of the fix based on new information, to minimize the impact on my home and to accommodate my schedule. The work is scheduled for early February.

Rusty and Marvin came to do a free estimate and determine the source of a possible leak in our basement. They were prompt and professional, and after inspecting the sump pump Rusty determined that the issue was a leaky pipe coming from the sump pump rather than a problem with the foundation wall as we had feared. He also inspected the pit and drainage system and explained how/why it wasn't working. Since our basement only leaks during major storms, we did not schedule any work right away but we do plan to have All Aspects back to re-do our pit/sump pump system since we were impressed with their care and attention to detail. We also appreciated that they gave us several options for the future work we are planning, and they did not charge for the inspection even though they were there for a while figuring out what was going on.

We have Alan came to our house to check on the sump pump problem we have for about a year which didn't get resolved with a couple of other companies we hired. He inspected the system and provided very professional advices. Even though he did restructured the pipe and the wire to correct the issue, he didn't take the money we were going to pay for his service because he told us he didn't need to do any complicated work to resolve the issue. We will definitely use his company next time when we have any issue with our system.

The estimator was punctual which is a trait missing from a lot of today's contractors. He even called to notify me that he was on the way. He was very professional and, even though this work isn't going to happen for now, gave me a few "Harry Homeowner" suggestions to first try. If these suggestions work then I've saved a few thousand dollars. How many contractors provide that type of service? I will definitely use them in the future should my basement wall required their type of repair. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

After 30 seconds he told me it wasn't a water problem it was likely a sewer or water pipe leak. I had a plumber come out and he was correct the pipe was broken outside of the foundation wall. The impressive thing is he did not waste time nor did he try to sell me any other services he simply assessed the situation, provided good honest advice, and left. This is in contrast to another waterproofer who wanted me to do $8,400 worth of work that would not have addressed the problem and in fact would have resulted in our sump pit spewing contaminated water into my back yard. While they didn't do any work, you can tell a lot about a company by how honest their key people act. I would use them again without hesitation.

Everything went well with the install. It took 2.5 days to complete the job and I had 2 sump pumps installed. The only reason why I gave a "B" in the professionalism category is for the fact that when the job was completed I had one of the workers call me at work and pretty much demand the final payment for the job.

Their work was prompt with very good clean-up. I would recommend them.

I had evidence of water damage in my basement near my sliding glass door and fireplace. The person who came out and determined it was not a water proofing problem. He found rust in the fireplace and said it look like water was coming through the fireplace. My experience was great. The person who came out was punctual, courteous, professional, quickly determined that it was not a waterproofing issue and clearly stated why.

Sent out an inquiry e-mail sunday night. Was very surprised to find a response within 12 hours waiting for me in my inbox! They were very honest and said that most of the work I was interested in was out of their scope of services: "Additionally, after I discussed the information you provided with my Install/Service Manager, it is our belief that the right contract for your job might be a professional landscaper." Their honesty and candor is very appreciated. If I have water issues in my basement I will not hestitate to contact them in the future.

Jeff Basham promptly responded to my request for an estimate to remedy garage moisture in my "vintage" home. He was kind and honest enough to tell me that the best (and only guaranteed) remedy would be extremely expensive and in his opinion, not necessary. Although I had some mold in the garage, he told me that it was not dangerous. He also recommended a product that I could buy on the internet which could be used for the treatment of any mold in my house. I would definitely recommend this company -- and Jeff.

They were really helpful and honest. Told them the problem and they trouble shot with me and made suggestions to try before having work done. It was great!

During the recent hurricane Sandy, a crack in our basement wall began leaking. A large volume of water entered the finished basement before we realized it had happened. After the storm ended, we call AAW and several other companies to provide estimates for how to fix the problem. Steve Maney came to the house and proposed an extensive interior drain system and new sump pump, as well as drains for both window wells. Steve was great. His proposal was similar to another company's, but at a better price. He answered all our questions, laid out the plan very clearly, and provided a detailed package. The sales pitch was strong but not obnoxious. We ended up not using AAW, and used a third company instead that fixed the problem for significantly less money. Had we gone back to AAW and proposed the same work, I'm sure they could have come up with a similar proposal. However, AAW could not guarantee the crack repair, whereas the company we used did. That was what tipped us away from AAW. However, if I ever have another leak (heaven forbid!), or if anyone asks me, I would highly recommend taking a look at AAW. Their high rating on the list seems warranted.
