Reese guided us through the many possible flooring solutions and helped us to select appropriate choices based on our specific needs for the three rooms involved. He lent us the large-size samples to bring home to do color matching. He then came over to measure exactly, specify, and propose the specs and costs. Upon acceptance he ordered the materials and scheduled the work. The two specialists came on time and did excellent, professional work (10/31/19 - 11/1/19). We've given it 7 weeks before writing the review, during which we are enjoying the new flooring more and more, and are glad we did this long-needed upgrade. No problems arose during this whole process and Reese and his workmen patiently and expertly answered our many questions throughout.

The project took about a week. Everything went well, they were very professional and the craftsmanship was excellent.

The start was problematic. I have no GPS system and the showroom was hard to find because it is on the and quot;wrongand quot; side of Rte. 40, and there are several turns to make before getting on to the continuation od Golden Ring Road. For complete description of work done, see above.

The hardwood floors were installed before the carpeting was installed. There was a lot of mess because the installer had no where outside to cut the wood and had to use my balcony. Also, I was not provided sufficient instruction for prepping for this job. I had uncovered electronics when they were installing the hardwood floors and there was a lot of dust flying around. Luckily, I was able to cover it all and there was no damage. There are a few unfinished places not in public view (like behind the refrigerator) where they did not finish off with the baseboard.

The carpet installation went better; however, the installers barely spoke english and is was difficult to communicate with them.

Also, this company is no longer at Yellow Brick Road. I also believe Sheeley and Fleming has separated from Abbey Carpet.

OUTSTANDING. ALTHOUGH THEY WERE NOT THE BARGAIN BIDDER, THEY WERE REASONABLE AND WITHIN MY BUDGET. I'VE ALWAYS SUBSCRIBED TO "THE CHEAP COMES OUT EXPENSIVE". I HAD A NEW PRODUCT, DURACERAMIC CERAMIC TILE LAID IN MY KITCHEN AND FOYER. AT THE STORE THE RESPONSE FOR A SALESMAN TO COME TO OUR HOUSE WAS WITHIN 4 DAYS. THE REP WAS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND INTERESTED ONLY IN WHAT I WANTED DONE. IT WAS A DIFFICULT 45 DEGREE ANGLE INSTALLATION IN A VERY ODD KITCHEN SHAPE. IT INVOLVED COMPLETE REMOVAL OF THE OLD FLOOR AND SUBFLOORS. HE ATTENDED TO EVERY DETAIL, ASKED A LOT OF QUESTIONS, AND MADE SOUND RECOMMENDATIONS. THE INSTALLATION WAS SCHEDULED 8 DAYS OUT. NOW THE GREAT PART. THE INSTALLERS, BILL AND TRULL SHOWED UP ON TIME, HAD EVERYTHING THEY NEEDED AND KNEW EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED BUT STILL REVIEWED EVERYTHING WITH ME. BILL KEPT ME INFORMED EVERY STEP OF THE WAY AND WAS EAGER TO STOP AND ANSWER EVERY QUESTION I HAD. I MADE A LAST MINUTE CHANGE AND HE LAID THE WHOLE THING OUT AS A DRY FIT SO I WOULD BE SURE WHAT IT WOULD LOOK LIKE. THEN HE LAID OUT A LARGE PORTION OF THE ORIGINAL DESIGN SO I WOULD BE SURE AND COULD COMPARE! THEY WENT TO WORK WITH A TENACITY AND WORK ETHIC THAT NO ONE WOULD EXPECT. CONTRACTORS SCARE THE BE-JESUS OUT OF ME, THAT'S WHY I JOINED ANGIE'S LIST, AND I REALLY RESEARCH AND INTERVIEW. I AM VERY PICKY, I WANT WHAT I WANT, AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I GOT. AT THE END OF THE JOB (A TWO DAY JOB) MY WIFE CAME IN AND WE GOT INTO A STRONG DISCUSSION (ARGUMENT) OVER THE PLACEMENT OF A DOOR STOP IN THE TILE. BILL AND TRULL SAW AN ARGUMENT PENDING AND OUT OF NOWHERE, BILL GOES BACK TO HIS TRUCK, GETS HIS TOOLS, COMES IN AND TAKES UP THE OLD PIECE OF TILE, RESETS A NEW ONE AND HANDS ME THE DOOR STOP. HE SMILES AND SAYS, "DO YOU WANT IT SOMEWHERE ELSE OR YOU WANT TO HOLD OFF AND THINK ABOUT IT. YOU DON'T NEED TO GET IN AN ARGUMENT, I'LL JUST MAKE IT RIGHT FOR YOU. CALL ME IF YOU NEED HELP TO REPLACE THE DOORSTOP IN A DIFFERENT TILE." EXTRA CHARGE FOR THIS SERVICE.... ZERO!!! I WILL USE THIS CONTRACTOR AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT. TOTAL JOB SATISFACTION FROM THE SALESROOM TO THE FINISHED PRODUCT. I HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU WHEN YOU''RE SEARCHING FOR A FLOORING CONTRACTOR, I'M A TOUGH CUSTOMER, MY WIFE IS WORSE AND I THINK I HAVE SOME NEW FRIENDS WITH FLEMMING AND SHEELEY.

It was good. We thought that they did a nice job and they seemed to stand by their work and the estimate that they gave us. They were on time as I recall, but I thought it was a bit pricey. We did not do a lot of price comparing, so that might not be fair to say.

Very good experience overall; just nitpicking here. Sales associate was friendly, straightforward, professional, and knowledgeable. Installers were professional, friendly, hardworking, knowledgeable. Salesman estimated that it would take 1 day to complete; actually took two full days. Installers paid attention to some details, overlooked others. For example, they dug a trench in subfloor to allow for alarm wire to reach from the front door to the wall (originally just laying underneath carpet), but they did not fill in the nail holes near walls and steps with putty. There was some damage to fresh paint job, including a 6" x 6" patch ripped off the wall. This is a fairly easy repair with some spackle, but they should have repaired it themselves and it's unclear how it happened in the first place. Clean-up was hurried, I had to sweep and vacuum after they left. Some trim could have been cut more precisely, rather than just slapped together. But overall very good.

I WAS DRIVING BY THEIR STORE and DECIDED TO STOP. IT WAS THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO ME. THEY BEAT MY BUDGET, I LOVE THE FLOOR, and THEY WERE ABLE TO INSTALL IT THE NEXT DAY. ALSO THEY INSTALLED IT WELL WITHIN THE ESTIMATED TIME FRAME. VERY HAPPY!

LIVING ROOM FLOOR - INSTALLATION WAS BEAUTIFUL BUT THERE IS A LOCATION ABBEY CAME BACK TO LOOK AT AND AREA WAS BOUNCY, AND THEY NEVER FOLLOWED THROUGH WITH THE MANUFACTURES REP. THAT VISITED THE JOB TO GET PROPOSED SOLUTION. KITCHEN FLOOR - ORIGINAL FLOOR WAS CUT TIGHT TO THE CABINETS NOT REQUIRING MOLDING/TRIM, BUT THIS DID NOT HAPPEN WITH THE NEW INSTALL AND ABBEY INDICATED IT'S NEVER INSTALLED WITHOUT TRIM. AS WELL ABBBEY REVIEWED THE SEAMS WHICH SHOWED DIRT RIGHT AWAY AND NEVER RESOLVED, SAID THE CLEANER WOULD TAKE CARE OF THIS.

THEY WERE ONE OF THREE ESTIMATES THAT I RECEIVED. THEY USED 100% OAK HARDWOOD. THEY HAD A LOT OF COLORS AND WOOD TO CHOOSE FROM. THEY WARRANTY THE DURABILITY OF THE FLOOR FOR 25 YEARS. THEY OFFERED DEFERRED BILLING. BUT I DID NOT USE THEM. THEY WERE COSTLY BUT VERY PROFESSIONAL.
