Despite our short-notice move request, In & Out Movers was able to accommodate us. Miguel scheduled the move and sent his best crew. The move crew supervisor, Juan Guzman, was experienced and professional. His crew, Juan and Eric, gave our property the TLC we wanted. They were fast but careful. Our entire move went very smoothly. They were literally â In & Outâ . The price we paid was less than half of the other estimates we had received. However the service we got was superb!! Movers were great, but the company charged me for tape and paper, etc., to the tune of $200+. Another company did a longer move of the same items for $300 less.

Gentlemen were very friendly & respectful and worked very efficiently.

Our new furniture delivery was delayed so the company from which we ordered it graciously offered to cover the cost of a moving company to move one couch and two recliners down one set of stairs for us. (Easy job for a moving company). They called two different local movers and received a quote from In & Out for $240. They said this was the better of the two quotes and reduced our purchase price by that amount to cover this cost. I also called In-and-Out movers the same day to confirm the quote. They scheduled the movers to come out. The day before they were set to come, I got another call from In & Out confirming a one hour time slot they would be arriving. I was more than willing to work with them on what worked for their schedule. The next day, no one showed up during the hour time slot. I then received a voicemail from the owner simply saying they weren't going to do the job anymore. I called back, and the owner said they didn't realize how far away my house was (35 miles) when they made the quote and simply weren't going to do it. I told them we were only given the amount of their quote and I believed a good business practice would be to own their mistake and continue with the job. I said it was unfair to leave me as the customer with the added cost following their mistake. The owner became very loud and kept explaining "What do you want me to do about it?!" I told them I thought they should do the job as planned. He then loudly exclaimed "I'm not going to do the job for free!!" I said I never asked him to, and I was simply asking him to follow through on his quote. He continued to be very loud and rude on the call. I said I found it very surprising that they would make a commitment to a customer and then go back on their word. He then yelled "We're humans! It's human error!" I told him I understand being a human (believe it or not, I'm one too) but my business philosophy is to own my mistakes, make up for them, and follow through on my word. I said that since he was not planning to honor his company's commitment, I would write reviews so that others were aware of my experience. He just continued being loud and defensive and said "I'll just reply to all of them!" He then loudly exclaimed "I don't even want to do this job for you anymore!" It was so unprofessional I couldn't believe it. I will mention that Jason, their Operations Manager, was much more polite and understanding on the phone and acknowledged the mistake his company made and the position it left me in. But my overall experience was still very poor and I am left having to figure out how to fix their mistake.

We were able to work out a driver issue over the phone. Movers did quality work.

They either scratched, dented, chipped or broke nearly every piece of furniture they moved. They charge for packing material and it amounts to quite a bit. This more than doubled our quote. They also didn't bring a truck big enough to fit all our home. We had to find a U-haul and storage shed during a very busy time after they left without moving everything we contracted with them to move. They managed to do a tremendous amount of damage to my furniture. This is oak, cherry and maple furniture and not particle board furniture. Expensive furniture. They tore holes in a couch and a love seat. They are very pushy about feeding them and providing drinks and making sure we tipped.

The team was great along with the customer service.

The more you can do to prepack, roll and tape carpets etc. the more you can save $. There can be a lot of unexpected add ons.

Arrangements for delivery were customized to meet my timing needs. A very professional and courteous staff. They know their business.

Great service, great guys but totally inaccurate estimate. I requested an in person estimate but didn't get it. As a result, I paid nearly double the quoted amount (after receiving a discount) despite providing a full inventory list. Prior to the discount I was quoted an amount more than triple my initial estimate. Get an in person estimate & you should be fine.

I have used them twice now! They are professional, fast and efficient! They handled my things as if they were their own. I am extremely pleased and recommend them highly!

I would hire these movers again. They were very processional and took very good care of my things. They also worked very efficiently.

I suppose it's most moving companies, but I'd much rather a realistic quote. But then I suppose it would be so much higher, that I'd go with the company that underquoted. Maybe I should rate them higher since that's the nature of the residential moving industry, but even when I explained I wanted a realistic quote, I didn't get one. It's a shame. They did great work.

The movers took great care to ensure our furniture was not damaged in the move. They were professional about packing and placed the objects as instructed. There were some issues with the scheduling that when I called the office to confirm, they told me they had no record of the move. This caused me much stress, but was cleared up by a second call when I reached Jacob and everything was corrected.

I spoke with Jacob several times and he met me at my Crofton location to go over what we needed to move. Herman and his crew were great! They wrapped everything and I had thought they would need to take apart both of my futon bed/couches but they moved them as a single piece. They placed everything where I wanted it in our Annapolis home and again their work was just perfect. Pleasant group of men and they worked hard, fast and smart.

Professional and courteous

They were highly professional. They were punctual and were very fair and up front about scheduling and pricing. They are very reliable. They did careful work and did not break anything. I could not recommend them more highly.
