Great Nation Moving was incredibly affordable and helpful for our move. They helped us move on a very rainy and cold day and were clean, cheerful, and made sure that all of our items were brought into our new home with no damage. They even helped us get organized and provided large boxes for our odds and ends. Could not recommend them more! They were professional, fast, helpful, and very friendly!

A moving date was arranged by Rose in the office. Several changes were made before the date and she was prompt, accommodating, professional, and friendly. She gave an estimate for the move from the information she was given over the phone. This was not a very big move but the items moved had sentimental value and were very important to us. The estimate was right on and the final price was exactly what we expected. The men arrived early, happy, and ready to work. They were careful, professional, and fast. They had a five hour drive to Ohio where they delivered the furniture. Everything went smooth. It was a perfect move!

First off when calling to schedule the quote I received was half the amount of time of a local competitor. When movers Tomas and Marko showed up they were great. Moved everything very professionally and with great care. The house had some tight spots but they maneuvered around them without hitting the wall once. Went a little over quoted time frame but we also had them move more than what we had originally planned so no issue there. Would definitely recommended and use Great Nation Moving again.

Yes, 5 stars. Best price of anyone. Took excellent care of my furniture, including the oddities of my my large teak desk in place, before moving it out to wrap. Handled complexities at my storage as if I'd remembered to tell them all of it. Got large things into awkwardly designed space, enjoying the jigsaw puzzle, and about as nice as anyone could be. There was a bit of damage: a 2-3 inch scrape outside a very difficult door. Brusk sentences trying to fit even this much in.

Generally a good mover to work with. Final delivery took some time to nail down but it went fine eventually.

A really excellent company that I would highly recommend. Very professional pair of guys who arrived on time, made no fuss loading the van, or then at the other end, and a very reasonable price. Couldn't have neen more happier with Great Nation Moving. They quoted me the best price compared to 4 other companies on my move from Maryland to New York. Greg, David & Freddy were friendly & courteous. Truck arrived when Freddy said it would with all our belongings undamaged.The guys not only unloaded,but reassembled the furniture exactly placed at our request. Loved these guys,highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Great Nation Moving for my move in February 2018. Movers are highly professional, on time, and taking good care of my belongings. The customer representative Rose is friendly, helpful, and highly professional handling all questions during the moving process. She walks extra steps to help me for a couple of unexpected changes in the middle of the move. I definitely will contact Great Nation Moving again if I am in need in the future. Thank you!

I chose Great Nation Moving based on numerous reviews. And their website is impressive, leading us to think the experience would be flawless. When our move was finished, I realized I had not done enough research. This is my 8th move. More items lost and damaged than the other 7 combined, by a long shot. Our move from California to Colorado was well-planned, and painless except for the move. Based upon conversations with Greg, we set a date one month in advance for moving out, and moving in. They allowed one month for a 1,300 mile move (3-day drive), in case of weather or breakdown, etc. The weather was perfect. We had to be out by Thursday, Feb. 22. As of Monday, 2/18, we still didnt know when they would be moving us. Their website promises we will keep in touch through the entire process Monday 2:34pm, David Yanoff, the owner in Maryland, let us know theyd be loading Thursday. Hardly stress-free! The day they were to show up, we were greeted by a man who appeared to be under the influence he could barely speak coherently. He said he got the job from Craigs List. All 4 packers were from Craigs List. Hardly the experience promised on the Great Nation website. Then the moving van showed up. Not the fresh-looking one on the website, but one with faded paint. The movers werent from Great Nation. They were from Triple 7 Movers in Las Vegas. we didnt know moving our home possessions would be farmed out to a third party. Somebody shoved a piece of furniture into the corner of a wall, breaking a 12 x 4 chunk of the corner (photographed). I had a four-piece desk I had moved in a year earlier. The professional movers couldnt figure out how to move it (?), so left it. $2,800. Also, no credit for desk they didnt ship (estimated 150 cf). They took a lamp, printer etc. off the desk, and hid them in a closet. They didnt do a walk-through (he says he did, but if he did, how did he miss the lamp and printer, etc., and barbecue outside, and boxes in the garage? 2/23 3:25pm text from David We were told it would be a direct move from our former home to our new home. If that is true, why did the truck break down in San Francisco, 55 miles in the wrong direction? 3/1 Tried to find out from Greg, David and Raam where our stuff is, how is it, and when do we get it? No answers, had to file police report since our possessions may be stolen? 3/4 11:50am text from DavidNo worries. I am here if you need me Driver later told me they had a flat tire, were told they needed to replace it. Raam didnt want to pay for new tire, so they patched it. It blew out 10 miles later. Raam waited a day for a cheaper tire. 3/6 They are supposed to unload at 8:00am. 3/6 4:30pm Moving van shows up! Again, four professional mover from Craigs List, no experience necessary. I was checking off boxes for inventory. After about 15 boxes, we quit, because too many boxes didnt have tags The boxes were generally well-packed, but not in

All the personnel with whom we interacted impressed us with their courtesy, their commitment to delivering exceptional service, and their ability to move our belongings carefully and on time. I agree with another that posted on this site. Have them come to your home to do an estimate. Ours turned out to be almost 3X as much as the estimate and they preferred cash (would give an extra discount), but I had to get a certified check because I refused to pay that much cash to someone I didn't know. Also, you have to pay BEFORE they unload at your new destination.

After calling around for inquiry, I reached Great Nation Moving. Fast and dependable! The price was reasonable for their service. When the crew arrived they got right to work, moved very swiftly and efficiently and didn't waste a single moment. They just wrapped up the moving process in couple of hours. Their representative made sure to call and follow up with me at the conclusion of the move to ensure everything went well and good! Very happy with the services!!

I can't say enough good things about this company and their movers. I worked with William, Peter and Carlos today, and they were not only knowledgeable and friendly, but they moved everything we wanted quickly and without damaging anything. I was given an arrival time of between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., and they not only showed up on time but were even there a few minutes early. I could tell they listened when I explained what we needed done, as everything they moved went exactly where I asked them to put it. Their pricing was also reasonable and straight forward no surprise charges when the job is done. If you're moving and want to work with great people who know what they're doing, choose this company.

I am writing to compliment Great Nation Moving, on the recent service that I received. On Friday, March, 02, I had scheduled to have other company move me into my new home in St. Charles, MO from VA. I was scheduled to have the move at 12-2:00 pm they did not show up until 6:00 pm and said they could not move me in. Thankfully the next morning, I called Great Nation Moving and was told that you would be able to move me in on Saturday, March, 03 in the afternoon. The movers that arrived were tom's and William. Both of these men could not have been more polite, professional, and careful with my move. They are excellent employees and deserve your highest praise. They made the moving process as easy and fast as could be imagined. They remained positive despite the extreme heat that day. These two men are a testament to what professional movers should strive to be, I hope that they get the recognition they deserve from management and your company. Because of them, I will recommend your company to every person I know and remain grateful for their ability to make a stressful situation into something that I was able to enjoy. I moved from my old apartment with this company. After talking with the sales rep, he seemed to me nice and professional. Overall the move went great. The organization, costs, insurance policy, their equipment, everything was way better than I expected. My family and I are very pleased.

I can't say enough positive things about the crew. They were efficient, quick, and did not damage anything. There was a mix-up with the confirmation email so I originally had thought they were coming earlier in the day. This crew got pulled onto my job after doing a full day’s work and still was able to be nice, trustworthy and pleasant. I would be happy to have them move us again.

Thank you! We were in a bind due to our help cancelling very last minute (last night at 11pm) I called on behalf of my sister to help us get her moved on the busiest moving day in DC. David texted right back and although they were booked solid he kept in touch and called as soon as they were done and were there immediately making time for us! I've used Great Nation Moving 3 times. From one apartment to another, the home of a family member in NY to across state, and again to move just some large pieces of furniture from one location to another. We'll be using their services again soon to move my Mom from a house into a loft. Friendly, funny, fast, professional, guys. Seriously affordable. They took great care in moving all items. The trucks were practically spotless. They cleaned up behind themselves. They're "yes" guys. They want to help! I've referred to them as almost family at this point.
