AG Floors

It went extremely well. The floors look beautiful. To our surprise, the level of dust was far below what we had been led to expect by friends who had this kind of work done. They used great care moving furniture back just the way we wanted it.

They were an A. They were fantastic. They were the best price. The work they did for us was better than expected. They just did a great job. They came and they stripped, and I guess maybe they prepped another day or something, and then they had to come back; we asked them to do three coats, so it took between three to five days to complete the job. We were not living here at the time. But when we finally came back after they were done, we were surprised at how little dust and residue we found. I did not speak directly with them, but my husband was very pleased with everything about the company. They were responsive, they did what they said and said what they did. They were very professional and we had a great experience with them.

It went fine but anyone getting floors sanded should know who ever does the job it is messy the sanding dust gets everywhere. Even though they take all the cautions and cleaning you can imagine some dust will show after they throughly clean the place as did these folks.

Very well. I had hoped that they would clean up a bit more of the dust, especially since the apartment was empty -- but that is truly the only complaint. They did an excellent job on the refinishing.

AG Floors did an excellent job sanding and refinishing the hard wood floors after removing the old carpeting . Coordinated with the painting contractor so hardwood floors were completed prior to the painting contractor applying the finial coat of paint to walls and ceiling. Replaced several damaged flooring pieces and replaced foyer tile with matching hardwood, Installed matching trim on the newly refinished hardwood floors. Carpet installed in finished basement areas really looks nice. Completely transformed the house's interior. Cleaned up area with little dust remaining prior to painters returning.

Superior. One room was an office with 3 filing cabinets. All furniture was removed and replaced very carefully. The floors were completely repaired and are sensational. The directions for after care were thorough

Exceptional service from this firm, starting with the professional and courteous woman who estimated the work, to the support staff on the phone who kept me up to date with progress on the project and to the team who showed up on time, and who did a stellar job. Everyone was polite, professional and perfect.

They did a nice job and were flexible with our scheduling (due to some last-minute changes to another contractor's schedule). The carpeting folks were a few hours later than scheduled, but their main office kept us updated throughout the morning, and they were still able to finish the job in a single day as promised. The hardwood floors look amazing (although there are a few scratches to the baseboard, but they warned us that could happen ahead of time).

Amazing job. The company was incredibly responsive. Out of all of the quotes we received to refinish the floors in our entire house (3 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 dining room, 1 study and the entry way), this company was the most reasonably priced, and they moved furniture at no extra cost. We were contacted within 24 hours of our request, and scheduled within 2 weeks of the estimate. The workers showed up on time, worked consistently through the day, and finished the project early. The floors look amazing, and the quality of the work is spectacular.

AG representative was very punctuated. He gave me a great estimated on completed the job, unfortunately a little out of my price range at this time. The deal advertised is not clear. The additional cost only included labor and not materials and labor.

The repair and installation efforts were flawless .

Incredulously and shockingly unprofessionally. The estimator (Yazmine) came to my house with a bewilderingly difficult attitude and acted bothered that she was here at all. She explained later that she didn't work on commissions and was stressed at work. She brought just a measuring tape and notepad, and no samples at all of the wooden floorings, as I had requested. When I asked to see what type of materials they had to offer, she acted as if I should already know the type and cut of the wood I needed before I saw them. After I repeated several times that I wanted to see some samples, she said that they were too heavy to bring any of them up one flight up to my kitchen. I ended up going to her car to look at a few floor samples (she had about 5 boards of samples in her car). I brought up three of them up myself (not heavy at all) to my kitchen to see how they would look in my kitchen. She said she had asthma and doesn't like going up (one flight) of staircase, and said that she could have cancelled the appointment but decided to come because she was the only one available. She acted like she was doing me a favor by making the appointment. I am shocked at the discrepancy between all the positive reviews and this shockingly poor initial visit. If this is a representation of their services and the company's work ethic, I would stay far away.

Work is being performed today. Thus far they have managed to completely dust bomb my house with fine dust on every surface in every room. The crew made zero effort to contain dust via plastic or vacuums. They are using a circular saw in an open space loft area. I called to express my concern and the young lady answering the phone indicated that they sent an email to my wife explaining there would be " a little dust". Nonsense. There is a LOT of dust. I asked to speak to a higher up or the owner. The owner called a few minutes later and seemed surprised that the crew did not use plastic. Her solution was to call the crew and "see what is going on". I reiterated my concern for the excessive existing dust and my need to hire a cleaning crew to remedy their mess. Again, she wanted to call the crew. I am now in a situation as I don't want these people back in my house with floor sanding machines. This company is irresponsible in their lack of concern for the reality of dust. I imagine they are fine for new construction, however, they fail on my job.

They did a great job; all the team members were very professional. The results look great!
