Description of Work: Our 18 month old hot water heater blew apart and flooded our basement. Mike W. from Air,Plumbing and Heating Solutions arrived within 1 1/2 hours and repaired the issue within 45 minutes. He was efficient, polite, supportive and proficient. Unfortunately the pilot light could not be activated as it was flooded. Since the water heater was only 18 months old, we were dissatisfied that it had malfunctioned. Alan Schwarzchild, the company owner, returned my call the next morning and listened to our concerns. He offered to REPLACE the entire hot water heater free of charge including labor! This level of customer service was incredibly impressive and extremely generous. Mike W. Returned the next day and completed the job to perfection. A great experience overall!

Description of Work: We have only used them to maintain air-conditioning/heating units. They perform twice yearly maintenance service under a maintenance contract. Service technicians are friendly, wear shoe covers when walking throughout the house. Very professional. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: APHS was great experience in everything! first, they let me retain my coupon for a long time. I bought a coupon in Oct 2015 and used in May 2016! Steve was the plumber who came to my home on time, was very professional, polite and friendly. He completely replaced the tub faucet and the sink faucet system in my hallway bathroom and also replaced two new valves going towards the bathroom. The material (Gerber tub faucet, Wolverine Brass sink faucet) and installation included. Steve really worked hard. At one point he had to unmount the sink from the wall, take in my front yard on a hot day (90 deg outside) and worked hard and delicate, to retrieve my 1955 original ceramic sink and separated the old jammed faucet! He had to make two trips for the work since earlier, the sink faucet was not available with the company.

Description of Work: New upstairs installation was to include new furnace and new air conditioner (4 ton evaporator, 3 ton compressor). I reviewed the installation as they completed it and noted that only half of the evaporator was actually in the air duct, the other half was blanked off, leaving a 3 ton compressor and a 2 ton evaporator - worse that the prior installation. The workmen told me they wouldn't have in their own home, but were told to do it this way. I refused to pay until a second day was spend creating a larger duct for the evaporator. Had I not known what to look for (mechanical engineer), I would have been saddled with a substandard installation.
