They’re great. We’ve been going there for several years now, and the experience has been good.  A lot of people take their pets there. Dr. Armitage takes his time, explains everything, and is very accessible. You can tell that he cares about the animals. They’re not 24/7, but everything is good.

I changed to Country Veterinarian Hospital when Dr. Michael King moved there from a practice in Frederick. I have to drive farther but it is worth it.  I wouldn't trust my pets to anyone but Dr. King. I adopted my 'baby' (doggy), Pepper, in 2002 -- she had been badly abused and was so frightened. Instead of insisting on examining her up on the table, which would have been more convenient for him -- he sat on the floor with her and still does to this day. He is compassionate and caring, not to mention thorough.  His mannerism is so gentle and caring -- which helps to put my dog Pepper at ease.  He also does not recommend tests, etc., that he does not consider necessary.  Dr. Michael King is A+ in my book.

In addition, his office staff are wonderful -- very polite and kind.

Their staff is wonderfull, very friendly but professional, from the receptionist to the techs to the doctors. I rarely wait any longer than five minutes to be seen, their exams are thorough and they explain everything they do and treatments they suggest. I never feel rushed, they're always happy to answer questions. The first time I took a dog to them, they spotted a malignant liver tumor that the previous vet had not yet addressed, although she was aware of it. I trust these people; and because their prices are affordable, I can take my pets to them whenever I need to instead of saving up for procedures. They will also give you estimates for more expensive procedures, dental work and surgeries, and work out a payment plan with you if you need it.

I WOULD SAY VERY EXCELLENT HOSPITAL TO DEAL WITH. THE DOCTOR TREATS THE DOGS VERY WELL. BEFORE I LEAVE THEY GIVE INFORMATION ON WHAT WAS DONE TO THE ANIMALS SO ALL MY QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED.
