Description of Work: Mark the sales person was good and we liked and trusted him. We were getting some weeping cracks fixed in our poured basement foundation. Mark said we should hear from their pre-inspect mgr within a week to come out a pre-inspect the job to make sure they have the right amount of personnel and equipment. However, once we signed the contract, we didn't hear from anyone for over 3 weeks. Once we did hear from the pre-inspect mgr he said he was running late, but that he would be at our house, I said no problem we would be home and would be waiting. Not only did he not show up, he didn't call to tell us he wasn't coming. When I called to complain I did get a call from Mark and from one of their production people who said that the pre-inspect guy said he called us several times but did not get an answer when in fact I called his cell phone from the caller ID on my phone, got his voice mail and never got a call back. I offered to the supervisor the chance to see my caller idea and list of calls made to see who was being truthful but he declined. They did come out 2 days later, did the job as promised and in the end we were pleased. Mark also offered us a $300 discount for the inconvenience which I thought was fair.

Description of Work: We called the basement doctors to get a third estimate before we decided on a company. All the other company's wanted to sell us a $8000 fix. The other company's were going to put in a whole new sewer lines and drainage system. The basement doctors actually found the root of the problem- just a simple leaky pipe. A MUCH cheaper fix. We will call them for ANY future needs. Thank you basement doctor!!!!

 + -1 moreI HAVE DOUBTS ABOUT WHETHER THIS EXPENSIVE PROCEDURE WAS NEEDED. THE SALES MAN SAID THE MILDEW AND FLAKING PAINT WAS DUE TO WATER SITTING IN THE FOUNDATION BLOCK; BUT WHEN THE WORKERS DRILLED INTO THE BLOCK IT WAS BONE DRY (THIS WAS EVEN AFTER A FEW DAYS OF RAIN). THE WORKERS WERE VERY GOOD BUT BE CAREFUL ABOUT THE SALESPERSON''S RECOMMENDATIONS.

THEY CLEANEND UP THE MESS THOROUGHLY. THE JOB TOOK 1 1/2 DAYS AND THEY WORKED VERY HARD. DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND.

Description of Work: J&D INSPECTED OUR BASEMENT AND CRAWL SPACE AND IDENTIFIED A FOOTER THAT WAS BROKEN IN TWO PLACES WHICH ALLOWED ONE CORNER OF THE HOUSE TO SAG. TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE, THEY DUG DOWN UNDER THE FOOTER, INSTALLED BRACKETS, DRILLED SUPPORTING PIERS AND HYDRAULICALLY LIFTED THE DROOPING CORNER.
