Great company! On time, reasonable price and excellent workmanship!

We lost heat over the weekend and discovered that the furnace was not functioning. I called Davis & Davis first thing Monday morning and was given an appointment for later that morning. The technician quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty ignition control, but he did not have the part. He ordered the part and put a rush on the order. He showed me how to manually turn on the furnace to provide some heat until the problem was fixed. The next afternoon he was back with the part and installed it quickly.

I received three estimates for the work described above. Davis and Davis had the best price for the level of equipment quality installed. Everyone I dealt with at Davis and Davis was well-informed, professional, and honest. When asked if a change to the main duct was necessary to improve air flow, estimator Fritz Beiter came out a second time to look at the setup and discuss the option (instead of simply making a grab for more money). The technicians who performed the installation were on-time, thorough, polite, and took the time to explain the work being performed and clean up the work space completely. The furnace has worked perfectly since the installation. I was very pleased with the process and end result.

I was arranged for several estimates to install AC. Fritz Beiter came as scheduled and sent the best estimate package I've ever seen for a non-commercial job. Their price was between the other estimates and their package was so much more professional and detailed that there was really no contest. Fritz took care of everything, and we were more than delighted. He even did a few things not in the estimate that needed to be done without charging. I had a couple questions afterwards which he answered immediately, no problems at all.

The representative Ivan was extremely professional, friendly and helpful. He arrived right on time (almost early, which I don't mind), and apart from the standard job, he took special care to explain to me how the system works and what we have to be on the lookout for. This I appreciated because we are foreign and unaccustomed to having a central heating system in the house.

Very satisfied. I knew that a pump was not working properly and had to be replaced. I expected them to schedule another visit to replace the pump, but they had the part in the truck and replaced it during the initial visit.

Our experience with Davis & Davis was very positive. Everyone we met was polite and extremely knowledgeable. They did the work on time and did a great job cleaning up. They were very patient with my two little boys who were fascinated by their tools and trucks! Their pricing was a bit higher than their competition but I think it was worth it.

Work and labor guaranteed for thirty days. They came out 3 times because it kept going out after they fixed it. I got it early in the morning when I needed them before I went to work. They are excellent.

They did excellent work. They showed up as promised, completed the work, and left the basement cleaner than they found it....One of the best contractor experiences I've had in 16 years of home ownership.

Everything was just fine; price was what I expected to pay--not a great $$ deal, nor a bad $$ deal. The strength of the transaction is that the work was done as scheduled, by competent, user-friendly estimator and technicians.

They kept me informed of when the representative would be there within the time window initially given. He was polite and professional.

While the service itself was excellent, the lack of office coordination was troubling to say the least. There were several missed appointments and messages from us on the scope of the problem and the part that needed to be fixed weren't transmitted to the employee actually conducting the work. On that basis, I wouldn't recommend hiring them.

A/C service technician was timely, efficient, polite and knowledgeable. Price was reasonable. Service call met all of my expectations and I would use this company again.

This was an extraordinarily pleasant experience, from the estimating process through the installation itself. Everyone at Davis & Davis was friendly, competent and courteous. They performed the work quickly and exactly when promised, and our basement was probably cleaner when they left than it had been when they arrived.

They service is good and they are great people. The manager was nice enough to help us out by getting the job done properly when we were freezing!

My family has used them for many years. They are courteous, come during the time specified, do a good job and leave the house clean afterwards. Although my system is old, they manage to keep it going every year. I bought a service contract, so I only pay for anything extra that has to be done.

They are a bit high, but they do good work.

THEY ARE GREAT! We have used them for 27 years. They installed the original heating system. They are nice to deal with and very professional. It is well worth worth the cost. Highly recommend.

THEY WERE VERY PROMPT AND CAME BACK OUT A SECOND TIME WITHOUT CHARGE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

THEY DID GOOD ON THE FURNACE BUT I WENT TO TURN ON THE AIR IN THE SPRING AND IT WOULDN'T WORK. THEY DID SEND SOMEBODY OUT BUT IT TOOK A WHOLE DAY. THE MAN SAID THE UNIT HAD A LEAK AND WAS OUT OF FREON. HE DID FIX IT BUT IT SHOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED.
