The guy who came out told me I needed Freon. I asked to see it on the dial. He told me he used the wrong reading for the type of Freon that I had. I did not need Freon, and I feel like the tech should have known better. He then told me I needed a part replaced. After the incident with the Freon, I decided to get another opinion. I did not believe what he said. I had used this company once before, with excellent service. The firs time they came out, the guy was excellent. I would only use this company again, if I got the first technician that came out. I do not believe it was an issue with the company, only the tech.

They did a good install of a good product. Well, the cost was more than intended because they needed to add a small reserve hot water tank. I think this should have been in the advert, since there is a non-zero chance they'd be recommending it to some consumers.

The work itself was perfect. My issue was with making the appointment. If I had not called to check why they were not present at the appointed time I would not have had a serviceman as they forgot to schedule me in their system. Customer service corrected the mistake and someone arrived in approximately one hour.

See above. They were quick to respond when Angie apparently contacted local office as did their on-line team, but it didn't produce results till Monday, after initial checkup call Thursday.

The technician arrived promptly on time. Upon examination of our unit, he suggested an Acid Wash of the Condenser Coil ($250.00+) and to install an EZ Trap for silt build up (another $250.00 +) Upon showing him the Angie's List 'Deal', he said that he had not seen this advertisement before and that he would clean the coil. Within 25 minutes, he was gone and I examined the coil, which was still dirty. I phoned the company & was told that the Coil Cleaning consisted of light cleaning - removing dust, etc. and an\y leaves. that might be present. The Acid Wash was the only way to really clean the coils effectively. $79.00 would have been a great price for what I feel was indicated in the Service Advertisement, but not for someone to come in and try to sell me something for $500.00 and give our unit the 'once over'. I feel this "Promotion" was to allow Silas Heating & A/C to arrive under the pretext of cleaning, only to sell $500.00 worth of services to its potential clients. I would not recommend purchasing this Promotion.

Workmen arrived promptly, preceded by a phone call from their office saying they would be there in 30 minutes. The men worked meticulously and consulted with me on every step. They gave me advice on future maintenance and made suggestions on maintenance I could do myself. Also suggested I consider investing in a new system soon.

I saw the special for the water heater flush on Angie's List. I called Sila Heating & Air Cond.& scheduled the appointment. The office personnel were very polite & willing to accommodate me with my schedule. The technician (Tony) showed up on time, introduced himself & got right to work. He was very polite , asked me if I had any questions or concerns & took the time to explain everything in detail. He was very professional, neat, & well mannered. And all though some water spilled onto the floor, he was very quick to clean it up. He completed the water heater flush, cleaned up everything & made sure it was operating properly. VERY PROFESSIONAL !!!

They did a good job. They worked hard. It was very expensive. They were fine. They actually did a nice job. While that was happening, my father-in-law passed away they were fine not coming for a couple of days. They were good. They were very good.

Perfect. Scheduling was easy, tech showed up on time, completed quickly and professionally. No misleading attempt to upsell (have had problems with other vendors about this).

Technician arrived on time and explained all the work performed per the big deal description. Old AC unit so suggested no additional money should be put into system until it fails.

The serviceman arrived on time. A thorough AC inspection was performed on 18 year old heat pump. The system is operating well luckily as of now.. I was very satisfied with the service today. Thanks and keep up the good work ~

They were okay. It took a while for them to get here.

Purchased the AC tune up. It took almost three weeks to schedule it. Technician went to the wrong address. Said I was 4 lbs low on freon and was going to charge $150 to fill it, never mentioned 1 lbs was supposed to be part of the tune up. Was going to be $400 just to check for the leak, plus freon. I did not go with them.

Very well! Technician was on time, courteous, and knowledgeable. My AC has been working great--just as he predicted. He was happy to answer questions, too.

Excellent. Explained each detail, what to do and what to look for. Could not have been more pleased with the service.

I had Sila do a furnace and A/C tuneup at two locations and I was really impressed with the results. Tony, the service technician, was really knowledgeable, prompt and efficient. He told me what he was doing, why he was doing it and what the measurements he was taking meant with respect to the condition of the units. He also alerted me to things that may cause a problem in the future and provided recommended solutions. I highly recommend Sila.

It caused a delay in servicing my ac...and I had a party planned for the house.

Water heater flush went exactly as described. Toilets didn't really need tuning up, but the plumber inspected them all anyway. Plumber was professional. No complaints.

Good lecture about my air pump unit. However, the gentleman didn't even clean the unit which is full of leaves. He took full information about the unit for futrue contacts.

This was an outstanding deal and the work performed by a very knowledgeable and clean crew. I let the crew in the basement and left for work. When I returned my basement was like it had been before I left, no dust, no debris, nothing out of place, and a brand new water heater installed to boot! Not only will I hire again, but I have hired again! A minor repair on the other water heater, again performed with the utmost professionalism.

It went very well. The service technician was very polite and courteous and he wore little slipper things to prevent tracking dirt on the carpet.
