Matt Jenson of Luck Windows and Door - a subcontractor for Home Depot came out on 1/26/2016 to replace the door and side-lights. This guy could not install our door square or level. The relief around the door and each side-light was uneven on every side. He'd square up one side and the other side was way off. He kept telling me I had to "pick my poison" in regards to either a level door and uneven relief or even relief and an door that was uneven. While nailing the outside molding, he split it and tried to cover it up with caulking. When he installed the inside molding, I could drop a #2 pencil between the wall and the molding. When nailing the door frame to the house, he used screws that put large holes in the door frame and tried to cover these up with caulking also. When done, you could look from outside and see that the threshold was bowed about 2 inches. I have never seen such a sloppy job in my life! I had the manager come out that day to take a look at the door. He then had his #1 installer take a look. Both agreed that the door was not install properly. Home Depot ordered another door which was supposed to be installed on 3/7/16 but I received a call on 3/6/16 from the manager stating that this new door was defective and they were ordering a THIRD door. After waiting 3 weeks and not hearing back from Home Depot, I called to inquire as to when the door would be replaced. It took another 2 weeks to get this scheduled for 4/19/16. #1 installer for Home Depot replaced the door and although he did a much better job of installation, the door is flush at the bottom but not at the top. After opening and closing the side-lights, you can pass a very thick piece of cardboard through the lower latch side of each. The installation manager came out on 4/28/16 to look at the current issues, took pictures and agrees that the side-lights don't seal properly but thinks they can adjust the latch to resolve this. He also stated that the door is warped, causing it to bow inwards on the inside. He stated that he needed to talk to his #1 installer to see what else they can do to resolve the issues. On 4/29/16, the manager contacted me stating that his #1 installer was out for the week and they would get back to me once he returns. It is now, 6/2/16 and I have yet to hear back from Home Depot on this issue. After more than SIX MONTHS, this issue is still not resolved!

With few exceptions I am greeting politely and asked whether I need assistance. Online order pick-up has been easy with a pretty quick turn around (though calling ahead helps). I have been pleased with truck rental as I have had several orders which could not be transported by car. With regard to knowledge, I have found it ranges from excellent to okay though more important staff to not pretend to have knowledge and will help me find more knowledgable staff when available. Overall, I recommend this Home Depot and continue to use it on regular basis.

It was okay. It looks pretty good but we had some issues. The backsplash keeps splitting, they have to keep coming out here and you have to make tons of phone calls to get them to come out here and fix things. Their customer service is not very good. I would do my homework before using Home Depot again. It was expensive. It was little over $7000 and under $8000. They were responsive. I would not use them for kitchen. In all fairness, it seems like they are trying to get better at customer service. The last time they had to come here and fix something, the first phone call was in March and they still haven't resolved it yet. It seems like they have a lot of miscommunication among themselves.

I made an appointment with the kitchen design representative and arrived with my contractor's plans in hand thinking we would begin designing my new kitchen. When I arrived the designer said she had another appointment in an hour so we would just run through the cabinet styles and finishes and I could leave a copy of the contractor's plan for her to put into the computer later. We arranged another appointment. When I arrived again, the designer still had not put my plan information into the computer and instead discussed other designing options such as flooring, counter tops, etc. She said she would work on the plans and call me to schedule the third visit. A month went by and no response. In the mean time I went to Lowes and the designer there asked me to leave my contractor's plan as well. At my scheduled appointment with him, he had the entire plan on his computer with suggested cabinet configurations in place. We spent 3 hours working and reworking the design until I was satisfied. Six weeks later, the Home Depot designer called and said she finally completed my kitchen design and would I like to come in to discuss it? I couldn't then as we had out-of-town guests for the week and so she asked if she could email the design to me. I said yes, as I would have liked to have compared her cabinet price with Lowes. That was two weeks ago and I am still waiting. No, I'll correct that. I am not waiting. I decided to purchase the cabinets at Lowes because of their great customer service.

The service was really good. The installer was really professional. Overall, it was a good experience. My only negative was that it was pretty pricey, but doors are pretty pricey. They installed it pretty quickly and it has been great so far. I only priced the doors at Home Depot and at Lowes. It was a pretty hefty door, with the insulation it was excessive.

There is a limited quantity of trucks and it's best to make a reservation before you go. The quality of equipment has been good. I've rented saws and tile saws, carpet extractors and cleaners and all that kind of stuff.

No estimate ever took place because they never showed up.

The installer arrived on time and he was very friendly and experienced.

Crew arrived on time and finished even though it started to rain. Took care not to damage landscape in front of house. Very friendly and efficient. The cleanup man could of done a better job outside. Overall I was satisfied with product and installation.

HOME DEPOT COMPLETED THE WORK THAT I NEEDED ON THE LOCKS, AND NEW DEADBOLTS SELECTED WHILE I COMPLETED THE REST OF MY SHOPPING IN THE STORE. THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT, AND THOROUGH IN PERFORMING THIS WORK FOR ME.

IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO GET WAITED ON AND THEY DID NOT EXPLAIN THINGS VERY WELL. THEY DID NOT EVEN TELL YOU WHEN THE CARPET COULD BE INSTALLED AND WHEN THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO MEASURE IT FOR YOU.

IT WAS EASY TO SCHEDULE THE APPOINTMENT. THE PERSONNEL SHOWED UP AT THE EXPECTED TIME AND COMPLETED THE JOB IN THE QUOTED AMOUNT OF TIME. JOB WAS WELL DONE.

THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL IN ASSISTING US WITH THE SELECTION OF FANS FOR OUR HOME. THEY OFFERED ADVICE ON HOW TO OBTAIN A CERTAIN PRODUCT THAT WAS A SPECIAL ORDER ITEM.

OVERALL I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT. THE DOOR LOOKS GREAT AND I COULDN'T HAVE INSTALLED IT AS FAST AS THEY CAME AND DID IT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE SERVICE TO A FRIEND. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL AND EVERYTHING TURNED OUT GREAT.
