Arrived on time as indicated, performed the work very professionally, spent a long time at the end making sure we understood the equipment and knew how to operate it.

Once they were given the go ahead, they were very responsive and communicative. Their installers were neat, courteous, and very professional. Once they started the work, they worked diligently until complete. They did not start it, then leave and finish at another time like other contractors we have experienced. When they were finished, the work areas were left very clean and neat and they took away all parts from the previous systems. They then explained in detail how the new system operated and its many features. We were very pleased with our decision and would highly recommend them to others.

They're servicemen are polite and always complete the task at hand. They do it in a very professional and efficient way. In fact we are considering using him again.

Our nearly 25 year-old air conditioner gave up the ghost on July 17. A Hoffacker's technician assessed the problem on July 19 and presented us with several options. We chose to replace both the AC and furnace with a new energy-efficient system knowing that the work would probably not completed for a week. A Hoffacker's representative called the next day to ask if it would be inconvience for us if they replaced both components on July 21! Wow, what service. A small army of highly professional and skilled technicians arrived on time and completed the work by supper time. After the installation, a technician went over the new components and answered all our questions. Hoffacker's is a FIRST CLASS operation. As I told them in their post-work survey, they have a new customer for life. Although based on their stellar scores on Angie's List, they probably don't need one. (-: I wholeheartedly recommend Don Hoffacker's Air Conditioning and Heating! Note: The price we paid did not include a $1000 rebate from the manufacturer (Byrant) which we expect to receive in a few weeks.

The representative was punctual and professional; provided an estimate while he was here. The main/only reason I did not choose this company was that another HVAC company was willing to credit the complete amount of their previous "emergency" visit to get my AC working against their estimate for a new system. The two estimates were comparable, but the credit made the other company's final amount a better deal.

They are wonderful. I would give them the highest ratings. They saved me so much money.

Our AC unit was not blowing cold air. Don Hoffacker came out the same day and found a leak, fixed it, and recharged the system all in about an hour. They were very easy to work with and I highly recommend them in the future.

They did a great job on the service. There was no charge because it was under warranty.

After consulting Angie's List for information on HVAC companies in my area, I called Don Hoffacker's for an estimate on a drain pan replacement. Their technician arrived for the estimate and he was honest in telling me that it would not be in my best interest to just replace the drain pan only to have to replace the entire system in 1 or 2 years. My system was 25+ years old and would most likely need to be replaced in a year or two. He presented me with three systems to choose from, explaining each one in good detail (price, operation, efficiency, etc.). There was no hard sell, I simply made my selection and he indicated that someone would call me from the office to schedule the installation. The installers arrived on the scheduled date and time. They were courteous and began work immediately. It was a warm day early in the summer and they worked diligently from start to finish. They kept me informed of progress and answered any questions I had as they worked. When they were finished, they explained how everything was installed and how to maintain the system for optimal operation. They did not leave any mess or any extra materials behind and I was completely satisfied with their service. One thing that stuck out with me is that they fabricated a new exhaust ventilation for my water heater when they weren't even working on my water heater. Granted, it was tied in to the furnace exhaust that they were replacing, I just thought it was nice of them to bring it up to code. Don Hoffacker's came out for a courtesy inspection a month later to ensure that everything was working properly. I will recommend this company and use them in the future.

We lost our air conditioner in the hottest week of the summer. They were able to get a crew here in 3 days to perform the installation. The entire install took about 5 hours, including new duct work.

The estimate was done the day before (4/28) and the repair guy didn't have the part until the next day. The company worked with our schedule and sent someone out with the replacement piece as soon as they had it, working with our hectic schedule for that day (4/29). I would definitely use this company again and would recommend them to others.

I spent around $100 on that work. I recommend them to other members. I have used them before and I used them on my son’s condo as well. They have been great. They are good people. They are very experienced and when I call them I know who I am talking to because it is a small business.

One of our air conditioning units wasn't working so I called Hoffacker's on a Friday afternoon. They were able to schedule an apt for the next morning. "Don" arrived the next morning promptly and got straight to work. The outside unit was frozen and he proceeded to thaw it out as well as check the rest of the system. He filled the fluids, changed the filters and explained what to do once everything thawed out. He said that if it still didn't cool that they would need to come back and flush all the coils. Unfortunately it still wasn't cool by Sunday so I called and left a message. They called back first thing Monday morning and "Frank" came out at 10:00 am that morning. He too went straight to work and was here for quite a long time. He changed the blown high voltage fuses to the correct type outside on the units as well as spending a quite awhile working on the unit in a very hot attic. He flushed the lines and got everything up and working again. No problems since. Both Don and Frank were very knowledgeable and helpful with tips for things to better maintain the system. I liked the fact that they charge for the job and not specifically for labor. They did a very thorough job and I felt as though they were more concerned with fixing the problem and answering our questions that worrying about the clock. i would highly recommend them and will not hesitate to call them next time. I have used 3 or 4 other companies in the last few years but I think I have finally found one I will stick with.

The gentleman performing the work was early (always good especially because we were without a/c), examined what was done and what was needed, and quickly performed the work. Our a/c was back on less than hour of their arrival.

They were punctual and work on weekends, too. They were not very informative and seemed rushed. I will not use their services in future.
