We'd tried for years to get someone to repair our door, but no one was interested. A few tried to sell us new doors, and two men kept promising to return and do the work, but never showed up. Michael Byers came to our house to give us an estimate when he promised, gave us a clear expectation of the repairs and the costs. He showed up as promised, fixed our door efficiently and well. I would recommend him highly to anyone!

Byers representative called me the day after my initial call. Work was completed the same day and was very satisfactory.

I was very pleased with the service I received. The repair required extensive research in order to obtain some old replacement parts. The job was done professionally and promptly once parts were obtained. Being able to repair the existing structure, instead of having to replace the entire system , as other companies had stated was "my only option", saved me considerable money. I am very appreciative for their integrity, in keeping this a small job and for their willingness to obtain hard to find repair parts.

When I requested service on line, the Contractors contacted with minutes to assist me. However, I was able to agree on a time & date for Paul to come out to inspect for free and return to repair my door. FYI: I have a security patio door that rusted and seared from the barrel hinges. Paul stressed how he would alter his schedule & weld my door hinges back for $400. Considering that I had a family gathering the following day, I took off work early for him to begin work. Paul and his assistant actually damaged the door more with his iron work. He burned holes in the metal part of the door which made it more difficult to weld and it showed the yellow & black burn stains. So, he decides to tell me 3 hours later that his machine was not working properly and needed to be fixed before he could finish the work. At this time, I agreed to leave the door as is until he contact about his equipment. In return, he offered me an out of not paying at this time since I can close it temporarily. And if he returns I still have the pay the full amount and he can prime the door not paint it. I was truly unhappy to see the outcome of my door and deterd to pay that reflect bad craftmanship. I also think he should be responsible for replacing door due to the extent of damage. Nonetheless, it was a lesson learned and quality comes with a certain level of expertise which they did not display.
