The issue was resolved completely on time.

It went well--service performed as advertised.

Everything went well but unfortunately they could not replace the faulty valve on their initial visit. This caused a slight increase in overall price to get the problem fixed.

Unable to schedule in time. They had a long waiting list.

While it was not inexpensive, they were responsive and I believe they did a thorough job.

Gina is a delight to deal with on the phone and Louie is always professional and courteous. Fair prices, great service, no up selling for unneeded services is appreciated. Highly recommended!

All went very well. The quote was provided in a very timely manner. The installation was completed on the agreeable date without any issues.

Crew showed up exactly when they said they would. Finished when they said they would. Cleaned up after themselves. Were very responsive and thorough with clear instructions to home owner for both the technical work as well as all administrative phases including rebates + how to handle the WSSC + County inspections. Another great experience with Presidential. Anthony was the technician for today's call. I had my annual Fall inspection of my furnace. He also replaced a valve on my water heater. The water heater repair was covered under the warranty on the water heater. I have been a customer of Presidential Heating since 2012. I have the yearly contract and I highly recommend getting one. This company takes very good care of its customers. Everyone from the people in the office to the service people in the field are polite and knowledgeable. They answer all questions. Twice I have had problems with my furnace on very cold days and Gina has had someone at my house in a little more than an hour. Thanks you Presidential for all you do for me.

Our AC unit broke in the middle of a heat wave. We called 2 Angie's List heating & air companies to take a look. Both confirmed that our 12 year old unit had expired. So, we asked for quotes on removing the old and installing a new unit. Aaron, the Presidential technician was prompt, professional and honest and told us it wasn't worth pouring more money into an old outdated broken system. We knew we needed to buy a new unit. Here's why we went with Presidential: 1. Wayne Shenk came to our home, a follow-up to Aaron's initial visit. Wayne spent quite a while looking at our AC needs. He asked if he could sit at my kitchen table and work up the agreement. He was so quiet I almost did not know he was there. 2. I was very impressed that he worked up the proposal right then and there because the other company's proposal took several days to arrive even though they had been to the house the day before Wayne. 3. Not only was Presidential's price (much) lower than the other proposal, Presidential offered financing. 4. Not only was there financing, there will be no finance charges for 3 years. 5. There was a difference between how much we qualified for and the actual price so we paid the difference. 6. Curbside appeal is very important so it's in the company's best interest to send out well qualified staff. These people represent the company and therefore are its "curbside appeal." Aaron was the first technician who originally serviced the AC unit; Wayne double checked and gave us the estimate; Dave, Ronnie & Andrew were the technicians that did the actual installation. All were professional, knowledgeable and patient. I would definitely use Presidential Heating & Air again and have already purchased an Angie's List coupon for Presidential for additional services.

The provider emailed me to let me know they couldn't service the area I wanted the work done at.

My installers were Jerry, Jim and Mike. They arrived on time, were friendly and courteous. They put down protective cloths on hardwood floors and some kind of protective plastic on the carpeted stairs. The install took about 5 hours and then I was given a walk-through of the new equipment that was installed.

They were very responsive, friendly, and appreciative of my business. My a/c wasn't blowing cool air and the tech said there was a leak, and he could fix it but it might be cheaper just to replace it (it was 25 years old). They gave me a few options with different costs. I got another estimate for a little cheaper but I went with Presidential because they were more responsive and seemed more customer-focused. They showed up when they said and replaced the outside and inside unit, and the hot water heater. They didn't leave any debris, not even a screw. Everything was installed neatly and tied in to the existing ducts and pipes.

The tech arrived on time and was polite, but very little was actually done. He barely looked at the unit and washed down our unit outdoors. We scheduled the appointment because our second floor is much warmer than our first floor, but the tech dismissed our issue and told us that there wasn't anything wrong. After explaining multiple times the issue, he offered no solutions or insight into the issue. I was very disappointed by the appointment. We were hoping for some ideas as to why our second floor is consistently 10-20 degrees warmer than our first floor, but was only left with a bad taste in my mouth. Aside from the tech, the company responded promptly to my purchase of the coupon and scheduled service around my schedule, which was great. The tech was not knowledgeable, and basically just walked around my house for 30 minutes.

Called Presidential in the morning when I realized my a/c wasn't working -- on a very, very hot day! The woman who took the call was extremely knowledgeable, walking me through some preliminary checks. When we realized the exterior unit wasn't working, she scheduled someone to come out that day. Alex arrived on schedule. He determined that the contactor wasn't working. He did not have one on the truck, so went to pick one up and came back and installed it. After he left, I thought that the a/c wasn't working (there is some kind of a delay on my system) so I called Presidential and they had him turn around and come back. He came back and checked everything out again. Great service. I gave a "B" on the price only because it seemed a bit high although I am not sure what other companies would charge to replace a contactor. Overall, great service and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again.

Great, called when they were on there way, honored our warranty and fixed it quickly.

First really hot day of the season and when I came home at 7:00 p.m., inside fan was blowing but not cool air. Alarmed, but not surprised, I went outside to look at air conditioner and it was rattling and screaming. It must have just started that because I didn't hear it as I walked up to my house. Turned everything off and waited 15 minutes, but it was the same. I called Presidential because I've used their fine services for my furnace. I called their emergency number and said I could wait until tomorrow, but I have a St. Bernard and he's an old dog, so I don't want him to suffer. Received a call back in a few minutes from Jesse, who was finishing one job and going to another, but would let me know if he would be able to make it tonight. I was fine with that and asked him just to let me know. This was around 7:30. He called a short while later and said he could come but probably wouldn't make it before 9:00. He arrived shortly after 9:00. Well, it seems that there is some kind of safety feature for protection of the air conditioner that turns it off and the time the unit was off was enough to reset it. He checked everything to make sure all was well. Jesse was polite and professional. He was even going to put shoe covers on, which made me laugh because I have three dogs. It was still nice he thought of that. The price of an after-hours emergency call was extraordinarily reasonable. I've been very happy with Presidential and highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend them. Tomorrow morning I will schedule my yearly air conditioning service checkup. (I kept putting it off but will do so no longer.)

They were pleasant to deal with, came on time, were through, friendly, did the work, and cleaned up and removed the old furnace. We were and are very satisfied.

and got an estimate from them for the system we wanted. Again, they were quick to respond and assured us that they would get it scheduled as soon as possible. Two days later the crew showed up on schedule and spent the better part of the day tearing out the original equipment and installing all new equipment. They were courteous and worked without making a big mess (hard to do since it was raining that day and very muddy in the area where they installed the new AC unit. We are very happy with our new system and the price came in a little below their estimate. They are considered a little pricey in the area market, but they are well worth the cost. They will have a regular service contract for our new unit to keep it running well for the rest of the time we live in our new home.

As a Do-It-Yourself guy, I wanted 3 estimates from Angie's List Heating and Air Conditioning companies receiving good results from my neighbors. Angie's List made that selection easy and also enabled quick and effective communication with those companies to schedule estimates and heat pump/air handler size assessments. Glenn, from Presidential, was on time for the estimate and was more than able to answer all of my questions; he was professional, friendly and knowledgeable and gave met the feeling that he was not just "selling" a product/service and because of these things, he was a major factor in our decision to choose Presidential. After we made the decision to go with Presidential, Robin called us to offer a most agreeable installation date/time and to confirm other details; she was also professional and friendly and made me feel comfortable that we had selected the right company. The installation team (4 fellows) rang the doorbell at the exact time agreed on with Robin. Andy, Gary, Jim and Ronny all introduced themselves and were conversational, friendly, well informed, professional, and careful people. As a DIY guy who grew up with a Dad who was a DIY guy, I can watch workers' hands, tool selection, attitude and a host of other factors and conclude that they either know what they are doing or not. These four fellows were, in my opinion, the best that Maryland has to offer. The installation took about 7 hours and went very smoothly....I watched them pretty closely and know that they did as fine a job as could be done by anyone. Judging from the comments that some of these guys made during my many conversations with them, I could tell that Presidential is owned and managed by people who know what they are doing and are committed to provide a good product at a reasonable price and to install it carefully and done right the first time. I have no problem recommending Presidential and this install team to anyone.

This is a first rate operation. They were very professional on my initial call and were available to see me that same day to give me an estimate. The customer representative was very responsive and helpful in describing to us the options and scheduled the replacement for the same week.. The two installers who did the work were very professional, efficient (two days to complete the work), and cleaned up the area after the installations. The system is excellent and much improved over the older system, even when it was working well. We will also switch our maintenance contract to them since it is half the cost of our prior A/C and heating company.

We were preparing to have new carpet installed in the 2nd floor of our house, and noticed that the valve of the hallway radiator was leaking onto the old carpet. We called Presidential to replace the valve. Jesse came out the next day and discovered that the reason it was leaking was because the pressure in the boiler system was so high. They turned down the pressure, but told us that the boiler was 20 years old and needed to be replaced. We had been told during the home inspection when we bought the house 4 years ago that the boiler would likely need to be replaced in a few years, so this wasn't a big surprise. Jesse said that to save money we could replace some of the boiler parts (would cost about $1500-2000) but that the whole apparatus would need to be replaced in the next year or so. We had them come back out to do a full estimate to replace the boiler, which was about $7000. We elected to have the whole thing replaced, and a few days later, Dave came out to remove the old boiler, and replace the new one. We noticed an immediate difference, in that the house heated much better than it did previously. Everyone we dealt with at Presidential was extremely professional, courteous and responsive. There was no mess at all after the installation, and they also replaced the valve on the upstairs radiator. We didn't feel pressured to buy the new boiler (as opposed to replacing some of the parts). Also, they have a financing option available and gave us a pretty good deal to allow us to pay down the cost over a year at no interest. We were very happy with the entire experience and will definitely use them in the future should we have any heating or A/C needs.

It went very well, they were responsive and they kept coming back until we were satisfied. They were clean, they worked long days, they seemed to know what they were doing, I would absolutely recommend them.
