Repair went well. Required quite a bit of trial and error, with one fixture, 2 switches, and old wiring in the house.

The man who came out was very nice and he worked quickly. He cleaned up his mess and did exactly what I asked him to do. The problem was that I didn’t realize that when I ask someone to move switches and fix outlets and things, they cut big pieces in the drywall and don’t repair it. I wish they said that before they did the work and I would have called my son in law to help me out. Like I said, I don’t know if it is normal at all. It took him two days which was fine but there was the drywall which I had to fix.

The electrician was very pleasant and professional. He was very neat and vacuumed the basement after he finished. He was determined to fix the upstairs switch, while constantly keeping me apprised of his progress. I will definitely use Kolb again.

He looked at the two things that we needed the estimate on and provided the estimate. He was knowledgeable, he understood everything because one way an outside project and he understood being near water and things like that. He came on time. The price was comparable. They were only maybe within $200 of each other for the major project we wanted. Well it's just one of those where it is amazing how the prices of everything has gone up. The prices are just astronomical the prices that are being charged anymore. The quality of the estimate was good. They came on time.

The electrician showed up at the scheduled time. He gave details about the surge protector unit and installed the unit on the central electrical panel.

Client did a good job of installation. Job was done timely & efficiently. The only problem was they disconnected my interlock kit for my generator & did not install it back properly. When they were called about the problem, they immediately sent an electrician out to fix it. It was actually only about a 15 minute fix. I think they deserve an A- or a B+ But since there are no pluses or minuses. They get a B. They were very prompt. and over all did a great job.

The estimate phase was very professional and I was very pleased. But, when the service technician arrived, he was very unprofessional. His uniform was not very clean and he was carrying a very unorganized bag of basic tools. He didn't have any wire fasteners. I had to supply them. He didn't have any splicing pliers. He did his splicing with a box cutter. While splicing a wire that was being added inside of the electrical box, he hit a hot wire of another circuit with his box cutter. This caused a loud pop, smoke and burned a small section of both circuits. He then acted as though it was no big deal. This is exactly why I insist on being present when work is done by contractors. Annoying, but necessary. I was not very pleased.

Guy shows up and tells me i needed 2 surge protectors because i have 2 panels in my house. Which is fine. (It would have been nice is they mentioned it before hand.) The problem was the tech only had one on his truck. So he had to call his office and wait for another one to be brought to him. Then he struggled with putting my breaker panel back together. Then he charged almost ~$100 for 2 $11 double pole 30a breakers when i only needed 1 because 1 had a spare one on had i told him to use for one of the panels. (it was new i bought it for something else happening later.) and like $25 for a 15A single pole. When i reminded him of this when he handed me the bill he said i would have to pay the labor for installing the breaker( already in place in my panel) and i would call have to call the office to get it corrected. At this point it was after 10. This fiasco had already wasted 2.5 hours for something that should have taken an hour tops. The lady at the office was really nice and did make an effort to remedy the situation.

They were fantastic! They came out when they said they would. The technician knew exactly what he was doing. He cleaned up after himself. While he was here, he did a few extra projects for a very reasonable price. They just did an overall good job.

Scheduled via e-mail with Kolb Electric. Wendy was very responsive and setting up the appointment was a breeze. I was pleasantly surprised about the half-hour window. Technician arrived on time - was very professional. Work was completed and site was cleaned up. Very satisfied.

I called Kolb electric for service they quoted me a price over the phone (unheard of now a days) they came on a day which my wife would be there so they could do the work which was install a light switch for our laundry room for I am tired of my kids breaking the string on the old light. What can I say they did a great job and are a very honest company and I would use them again and again and refer them to all my friends and coaches. The technician showed up on time for the 7:30 a.m. appointment. He installed the ceiling fan in over an hour. I asked whether a timer switch could be installed to controll the fan. The technician said that the switch was for lighting only and advised that it might not be safe. I followed his advice. After the fan installation, the technician showed me how best to operate the fan to keep the motor in good shape for a long time. Before leaving my house, he cleaned the area and took the empty packaging with him. Overall, the experience with Kolb was good.

Called for special on whole house surge suppression. Electrician came, installed device and left. Was efficient and no trouble at all.

They are really good. They provide an excellent service. I have used them two or three times. They came 5 times. The last time they came was September. They fixed a pole outside my house that did not work. He checked my fire alarm and carbon monoxide devices. They installed everything. They have a person called Mike, who works there. He is very professional. I noticed that there price went up. I would recommend this company and I will continue to use them.

. They did a thorough, complete job. My neighbor had the same problem and hired another electrician. Her bill was 120 vs my bill of 200. This is the only reason for not using Kolb again.

Kolb Electric was very responsive. They responded before 9:00 am on Monday morning to an internet inquiry sent on a Sunday night. They were willing to send someone out that morning, which did not work for me, but managed to send someone out at 8:00am the following morning to do the work. Leroy was very professional, was upfront about the options available and the cost for each option, and performed the work in less than an hour. He did a great job. While it is just a garage outlet, it looks like it was originally built into the garage (it actually looks better than the only other outlet in the room). The freezer has been working since without a problem. I listed the price as "Good" rather than "Excellent" because it is my understanding that this was a pretty simple job for an electrician (particularly given how close the outlet is to the electrical box. But I expected to pay around that much for someone to do the job, and I did not even try to bargain down the price. It was worth it to me to have the job done right.

The electrician who did the work was courteous, professional, did a neat job and left the premises as he found it.

Unfortunately there is no story to tell since Kolb never provided me an estimate/proposal, never returned a phone call and never followed up. It has been over 3 weeks since an estimator came to my home.

The electrician came as expected. He was fast and efficient and pleasant. He installed the new kitchen light and repaired the garage utility light in about one hour.
