Excellent. The person arrived on time with the proper equipment and completed the job without delay.

We had a surprise outage on several outlets, but there was no evident fuse out in the box. We discovered one kitchen outlet that had evidence of burning. The electrician evaluated the situation and successfully replaced the burned outlet. He determined that no other work was required.

The electrician was excellent, very professional. He worked steadily, even through lunch without taking a break, and finished everything in a satisfactory fashion. Kolb's quote was significantly better than a couple of other ones we received, so we decided to go with them and were rewarded with great work. We will definitely consider them next time we have an electric job.

The entire experience went very well. Kolb Electric sent someone to inspect the wiring and advise what work was necessary and what work was optional. They emailed me a written estimate the next business day for the work I had asked about. Ultimately I decided just to go with the outdoor outlets for now. They were able to schedule an appointment for me within a week of my accepting the estimate. Their technician arrived on time and was finished in about two hours. The only issue I had was a very minor one. The technician did not put caulk around the outside of the outlets. I discussed this with their tech and he said that the wires were sealed where they went into the wall and it was not standard procedure for them to caulk around the edge of the gray box for the outlet. He assured me that it would be ok if I wanted to do it myself, it just wasn't something he could do since he didn't have caulk with him that would work for that. A quick trip to Home Depot, $3 for a tube of silicone caulk and about 15 minutes work put a good bead of caulk around all three outlets. This is probably just my own paranoia in action but better safe than sorry right? In summary, I was very satisfied with Kolb Electric. I would recommend them heartily and I expect to use them again for additional electrical work at my home.

When trimming bushes with electric trimmer, I cut the cord accidentally. This cut the power to our outside electrical outlet. I checked our circuit breakers in our cellar. All appeared okay. I called the company and they send an electrician the same day. When I explained the problem to the electrician he asked if we had outlets at home that would trip. I informed him that we had in our bathrooms and in the kitchen. He checked the outlets and found that our guest bathroom out let had tripped. By pressing the red button the problem was solved. Apparently, the outside outlets were also connected to the bathroom safety outlet. If I knew that I would have saved $98. After the work I realized that the electrician had not given me his work receipt. He had given me just the charging receipt. While he was still in his car I asked him for a copy of the receipt. He told me he did not have the appropriate form. I asked him to mail me later. I have not received the document to this date. I should indicate that the technician was very polite and competent. He may have forgotten his promise. However, the minimum cost was rather high. I have not contacted the company for the receipt. My problem was solved quite fast and I was happy with the work.

An electrician came out to give a detailed quote. I also had quotes from two other electricians for the same work. Kolb was by far the most professional and gave the best quote. When it was time to do the work, two electricians came out to do the job. They were professional and did an excellent job. When the county inspector came out to check the work, he commented that the work was very good and when I told him Kolb had done the job, he told me that Kolb's work was always top-notch.

Arrived on time with advance courtesy call. Quickly did the requested disconnection. Communicated well and helped me determine which other electrical jobs I want to perform myself and which I will want to hire out.

The guy came out to give me an esitmate for the work exactly when he said he would. I recieved a written estimate and arranged for two days of installation and repairs. They called on Tuesday, the first day they planned on working to let me know that they would be late. The estimator and his electrician arrived when they promised and started working immediately. the number of fans that were installed and the other work took a lot of time so the electrician returned as promised and completed the job. the work was done to my satisfaction, the electrician was pleasant and professional, and I would recommend this company and Henry to all my friends and family. Great info from Angie's list. worth the price of membership already.

I called on the Monday following the blizzard. They came out that afternoon. Fixed everything promptly and perfectly.

We didn't do much of research. They came in with a pretty good proposal and a good rate. It sounded good, so we went with them. I think they did a very good job and the price was fine. The quality of work was good, everything is going fine. They were pretty quick about getting around to getting it done. They showed up when they said they were going to be there. They cleaned up after themselves. They were courteous, clean, and professional. We had no complaints about them. We would use them in the future if we needed to.

They were on time and very neat. They did everything. They seemed to be very appropriate. They said they were going to be here at 8:00, and they were here at 8:00.

The work itself was performed satisfactorily, but there were misunderstandings about the date of service, the price of service, and the work to be done. On a Thursday they said that they couldn't come Friday but Monday. They meant a week from Monday, but I didn't know until I called to see where they were. I thought the quote was before the Angie's discount. Apparently not. I thought the switch would be accessible but it is in the attic which requires entering through a hole in the ceiling.

The work was started and completed on time. The electricians were neat and efficient policing the areas where work had been performed leaving them immediately liveable. The subsequent inspection went without a hitch. No problems have been experienced since the work was completed. I hope PEPCO is as efficient when the final connections are made.

Pat, the technician, was probably the most professional serviceman we've ever had. My dad was visiting at the time and Pat was very patient with the multitude of questions my father asked him. He did an excellent job with the project...and my dad.

It went great. They were quick and efficient. The only thing they could have done better, would be to repair the drill marks that were left in the walls, but they do not do that.

They called and they were able to come within a few days. They did what we asked them, they were reasonable in their charges. They gave great explanations of the work. They fixed everything within one day. They did what they promised!

After a poor experience with a different electrical company, I called Kolb to come and repair the damages. They were very professional, and the pricing was very reasonable. They were able to fix the problems, and I would use them again.

The technician arrived promptly at 8am. He worked steadily until all the work was finished. He was pleasant, courteous and efficient. He cleaned up after himself and removed all debris. While there, he capped off a couple of loose wires in the attic. Fabulous job.

This is a very good company and I am happy with the work they did. I would say that they are fast and very clean. The work they do is comparable to other companies around here. I would highly recommend them to others.

The electrician was knowledgeable, friendly, punctual, honest, and explained things as he went along. Because this job required fixing past contractor's mistakes, it was very difficult to find someone willing to do the work.
