Description of Work: Wheat & Sons installed a new Delta single handle tub/shower faucet and shower head and arm. The work went smoothly; the plumber was knowledgable and professional.

Description of Work: I had a sewer back up in my basement. They came right away, fixed everything very quickly. They were professional and easy to work with.

Description of Work: I started using James A Wheat and Sons out of an Angie's List deal over a year ago (apologies this review is so late!). I have gone with them ever since because the technician they sent, James, was so great. He clearly knew what he was doing and was committed to getting the job done properly. The price was comparable to other similar services. My only complaint is that the company could not guarantee me a time frame during the day, which is tough because of my work schedule. The one way around that is to ask for the first appointment of the day, which I have been doing. Overall very satisfied.

Description of Work: They did a thorough check of our air conditioning system and then gave us a comprehensive written and oral review of their findings and suggestions for upkeep.

Description of Work: The service professional arrived promptly and explained options to me clearly as well as making recommendations for future maintenance and problem prevention.

Description of Work: Semi-annual a/c-heating maintenance visit. Serviced my a/c unit and replaced coolant as part of the annual maintenance agreement.

Description of Work: showed up on time. nice. i left and my wife stayed behind. the reason we purchased the big deal: musty smell in kitchen faucet and hot water heater flush (heater is 2 yrs old). my wife was told the smell was the disposal (not true we clean it regularly and if you fill a cup and walk away from sink, the smell is in the cup), and the heater to new to flush. we were sent a follow up email with service plans (?) to buy, can't remember I deleted it. |i ended up changing the faucet aerator with an $10 kit from Amazon and soaked the faucet head in vinegar (smell gone). next i will flush the tank my self. waste of $75? no because i learned that something that small you should check it out yourself first. glad i didn't pay more. perhaps i should have stayed and insisted on the tank flush. i did not contact the company. probably should have.

Description of Work: It was fine. They did the basic work in a perfectly fine way but we had a couple of other issues going on when they showed up (having to do with our hot water heater and temperature) and they didn't seem to have a clue about some really basic plumbing issues. | |Also the guy charged me incorrectly (and didn't give me the discount) but the back office did fix it readily when I figured it out and called.

Description of Work: I don't recall the date or cost, but I was very happy with their service. I would call them again, but my husband insisted they somehow ruined the seal on the toilet in our power room but all they did was put some dye in it to see if it leaked (it didn't). The problem with the toilet didn't occur until two weeks later.
