Description of Work: The service technician arrived on time, but I was late. He was kind enough to wait for my arrival. The tech worked quickly and efficiently on assessing my HVAC unit, and provided me a "guess-timate" of what the total cost of replacing the unit would be, which I thought was sky-high, and unreasonable. He never mentioned any alternatives to total replacement, suggesting that anything short of total replacement would be foolish. Luckily, I got a second opinion.

Description of Work: I called them because my air conditioner works perfectly but leaks water. The first guy told me that the unit the coil was in wasn't straight and they would need to replace the housing around it. I paid $775 and they built and installed the part. I watched a couple of days and the leaking continued as it had before. They sent someone else out who said it was still leaking because the coil needed to be cleaned. He didn't have what he needed so he sent another guy out. They guy said he only had half of what he needed so he'd call later. I then got a call saying that the other engineers who'd been out didn't know what they were doing and he'd sent an experienced engineer out who now determined that I needed to completely replace the coil at $3,500. They'd give me a credit of about $300 or $400 towards the total price. I told them that I'd lost all confidence in the company since it took 4 people, several visits and almost $700 to tell me what really needed to be done. I asked him to look at it from my point of view. What confidence would I have in continuing with them based on this track record. He said he'd talk to the owners and called me back later saying that they'd give me the entire amount I'd already paid towards a new coil. I told him I'd think about it. That was about 4 days ago and I've done nothing since. I did some high-level research and found that the price they're quoting me is about the highest price possible for a coil, even with the credit for what I've already paid So, I'm really hesitant about doing anything else with this company. I'm really disappointed that they'd go through 4 technicians to finally send an "experienced" one, while charging me along the way.

Description of Work: I have a contract for yearly plumbing maintenance with James Wheat & Son. This most recent visit was part of the contract. The HVAC technician came to inspect the air conditioning system, change filters if needed, etc. He was prompt and careful. This company's technicians are all polite, they put on plastic booties over their shoes when they come indoors, and they clean up their equipment when they leave.

Description of Work: Cane to detect a leak, but unsuccessful. They installed dye in the system and told that they will return with a special light to detect and never came back. Called for a reminder and still no one came back.
