I contacted Ronnie Tolbert, owner of Cool Breeze about four days before work began and agreed to his offer to replace my old trusty Bryant furnace (29 years old and still running great) and my worthless Lenox Central AC unit that never gave me one reliable season of air conditioning over an 11 year period of installation. The old gear was acquired from a different company. The installation crew included Carlos and Martin. Both gentlemen were very courteous and professional. They were very neat and made sure that all pipes, wires, and sheet metal work fit seamlessly. I am a person who doesn't tolerate substandard workmanship. I was thoroughly pleased with both men's expert work. They worked from 9am to about 6:30pm without taking any lunch break. I kept them going with Gatorade and popcorn and Dominos pizza and drinks at the end of their work. They always shut the door each time they came or exited the house. I appreciated that because I have two house cats. My new Bryant furnace is so compact and quiet I hardly notice that it is running. It's amazing how smooth and quiet it is. The Honeywell 8320 is so easy to use and it offers WiFi so that I can control the furnace and AC remotely from my smart phone. I give Ronnie, Carlos, and Martin my highest rating. You can trust Cool Breeze to deliver what they promise and in timely fashion. UPDATE: OCTOBER 11, 2014 My new Bryant furnace and A/C unit have performed flawlessly since installation. I am still amazed at how quiet my furnace is as I can not tell when it is on or off when I am on the main level. My old furnaces always announced themselves when they were on. You couldn't miss hearing the noise. I love the quiet of the system. My A/C is wonderful. No problems at all. I was never able to say that about my Lenox A/C unit. It was next to worthless.

That went pretty well. I paid more than the "Big Deal". It was good, they fixed the problem.

This was supposed to be a furnace inspection and tune up. Turned out they didn't do anything. They may have opened the furnace but the bottom line was they simply said the fan was not working and tried to up sell to more.

The technician (Darvon) arrived on time and did a very competent job. He seemed very knowledgeable about the furnace and humidifier, including the wiring. A previous company had made a wiring mistake so the humidifier was not operating when the furnace was running. He detected the source of the mistake and corrected the wiring. He performed all the cleaning, furnace tune-up, checking for CO leakage tasks listed on the Angie's List coupon. We are very satisfied and will use this company again. Thanks to Angie's List for this great bargain and thanks to Cool Breeze for a job well-done.

We were turning on the furnace for the first time for the season and wanted to be sure that it was operating properly. We called and were able to schedule an appointment quickly (called on Monday and the tech was available on Tuesday at a time that worked for us). We scheduled an appointment from 2:30-4 pm. The service tech arrived at 4pm, a bit late. He was professional and courteous and performed the service requested. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a heads up that our starter was beginning to wear out. He checked and cleaned the unit and told us everything was functioning properly. Overall - we are happy with the service provided.

arrived on time. and did the job very well. very nice guy who explained things about the furnace; things i could check myself if i have problems in the future. and told me about one part that may need replacing in the next few years but was fine for now. also gave me a cost estimate for that part so i wouldnt worry about it. i will be calling them again.

It was the hottest week of the year and, naturally, the A/C stopped working. It was 95 degrees inside the house! I'm sure they were busy, but they didn't charge extra for an emergency call, were extremely responsive, and were very patient with us. The compressor was ok (thank god!), but the fan had stopped working. My husband had already done a lot of trouble shooting on it, including replacing a part, and was stumped. The problem was in the wiring between the thermostat and the fan. The tech fixed the problem, showed me what he had done in case it happened again, and then talked my husband through it on the phone. He also drained the drip pan for us. It turned out that this was a relatively minor problem, but I would call them first for something bigger as well.

They were very courteous, professional and on time.

Recently purchased rowhouse. AC was stopped working. Repairman on time. Kept house clean (took on and off booties). Found multiple problems and fixed them. Checked other units (we have more than one) for proper operations. No charges except for hourly rate and for a small amount of refrigerant added.

Saul and his crew arrived promptly, survey the tight layout with minimum elbow room, assess the situation and get to work. After making sure that all areas are covered with drop cloth, removing obstacles and working safely including removing all debris, the whole project was done with minimum disruption and no stress. GREAT JOB GUYS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. GREAT JOB WELL DONE.

We got 3 estimates for a new heat pump and adding new duct work to our basement. The first two estimates were similar in price for the unit to be installed. I got a third estimate from Ron, of Cool Breeze. Ron showed up on time for the estimate, and he was able to offer me a better unit (higher SEER) for a price similar to the other estimates. He was also knowledgeable of current rebates. His workers arrived on the scheduled day and were very professional. The crew used protective coverings, cleaned up after themselves, and they performed the work within the estimated amount of time. I thought they did a great job considering my unit is in my attic, and the attic was 100+ degrees at the time.

I do not know how much they usually charge for the service because that is my wife's territory. I would give them a high rating on everything. They are prompt. They answer the phone. They make an appointment and come out. They are here when they say they will be. We felt that their prices were fair and their service was prompt and efficient.

Our draft inducer blower motor fan broke a couple of blades 2 days before X-mas. Not only did were we told that there was a minimum of 5 days (until the following Monday) before a repair because "the store that carried the part was closed until Monday" but when the part did arrive, we were overcharged dramatically for it. Cool Breeze replaced not only the blower fan but the induction motor that went with it, charging me $450 for both. But even assuming that this was necessary, I could have ordered the same parts myself online and had them here the following day (X-mas Eve) for less than $300. A 50% markup from the price I could have purchased the part for myself, and a minimum 5 day delay is unacceptable. We froze through X-mas and then wrote a nearly $600 check due to 2 fan blades broken on a small furnace part. I will never use this service again. My experience with Cool Breeze was so awful that I joined Angie's List the same day (today)
