Cool Breeze Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

My air conditioner was blowing warm air, so I called Cool Breeze to see if they could send someone out and come look at it. Thirty minutes later Henry showed up. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great experience will use again!

Alex showed up on time, and in uniform. He was friendly, courteous and happy to answer all of our questions. He also explained the value of the EZ Trap system for our unit and we decided to add it. There was no pressure to add items or services. The capacitor replacement cost was reasonable and the mark up on the part (checked against online price) was also fair. The EZ Trap part included installation and was a little pricey compared to the online price. We are going to purchase the heat system check up for the fall and request Alex as our technician of choice. We are pleased with the service and the outcome. I would refer others without any reservations.

They showed up on time and quickly got to work examining my AC and furnace. Both were in fine working order but I needed a seasonal tune up. The power converter on the furnace fan was old and not producing the amount of amps it should so he replaced it. Seemed a little expensive but he gave me some great tips on keeping my furnace clean and in working order and also how the stablize the temp throughout the house. Its made a world of difference and also help bring down my electric bill considerably. Highly recommend.

Excellent , installers arrived on time and dressed in uniforms with the company's logo, neat and clean. They completed the installation in shorter time then expected and left my home immaculate inside and out. Pricing was below several competitors so the entire experience won me over. I have recommended them to a friend who had a similar experience and is passing the word on.

He seemed very knowledgeable. He shared lots of valuable information about our HVAC system and how we should maintain it.

I was very happy with the overall service provided. I called the company on a Friday and they had someone out the next day to repair my A/C. The technician was very courteous and was able to fix our A/C the same day. The online coupon for a diagnostic service call said I could get a full credit of $49 towards the final repair bill. The owner of the company (Ron) initially suggested that he was not aware of that.Turns out the Angie's List inadvertently placed a duplicate coupon on their site,and one coupon had the credit offer,while the other did not. Ron honored the coupon and apologized for the error online. I recently had the heater checked out and am planning on having repair work done on it with Cool Breeze. I recommend using them.

The plumbing service went better than I expected. I was abler to get same-day service on a kitchen drain that had suddenly developed a clog that wasn't cleared by a chemical drain cleaner. The plumber ran a very long snake through what tuned out to be perhaps a decade or more of accumulated gunk. He warned me about overreliance on the garbage disposal, which henceforth I will be using more judiciously. The furnace tune-up I purchased earlier in the year was well worth it as well. The pilot light kept going out, and the person doing the service quickly identified the problem part that needed replacing. He also assured me that the overall functioning of the furnace was within proper parameters. Again, the service was professional, and both times the service people left things at least as well as they found them. These services always seem to be more expensive than one thinks they ought to be, but I still give these people an "A" on price because they provide good value for the price they charge.

We thought they were fine, and we would have them back. We didn’t have any problems with them. They were easy to schedule with over the phone and they showed up on time.

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE! THIS IS THE BEST HVAC COMPANY! I see why they have the A rating. Out of nowhere our air conditioner died. Cool Breeze has a 24 hr. emergency line we could contact. They called us back right away ? out of all the companies we tried, they were the only ones who were happy to make a same day appointment. The mechanic, Renney, was absolutely fantastic. So professional! He called, said he was on the way, and when he arrived he did a thorough diagnostic, demonstrated everything he was doing, and showed us right then and there what the problem was. He even checked our water line to see if that was draining right, and then he checked to see if the part that we needed was on warranty to try to save us some dollars. Renney talked to the owner, Ron to see if we could get a deal on the pricing! Ron was amazing too. He really wanted to help us get the best price possible. Who does that these days? We are so happy to have chosen Cool Breeze, and thanks to Angie?s list for letting us know they have an A rating ? they will be our forever HVAC company!

The appointment was easy to make according to my hectic schedule. The owner said that he would service the call since I called after hours to make the appointment (expecting to get a voicemail). He arrived on time and went straight to work. Very personable guy. He explained everything he was doing and why and showed me how to take better care of my units. I took the chance to ask him about my ice maker and he pleasantly took a look at it, at no charge, and unclogged the water line. Not your typical blue collar experience

It went well but it seemed more like a sales pitch than a service call. They came out and tried to sell me a whole new unit after they wrongly assessed that my compressor was bad -- it was only 3 years old. Scheduling was easy, though, and they were on time.

I saw an Angie?s deal for Cool Breeze?s 20 point inspection on my HVAC units. I contacted the owner about buying multiple deals since I have dual zone (with separate furnace and A/C). Just as other reviews noted, the technician came 2 hours AFTER than the window they were supposed to arrive within (such that I had to then take off a full day of work). I did follow him around asking questions to learn about my system, but I hoped I was being helpful as I stayed out of his way. Nonetheless, it took longer than the hour allotted per system since my units aren?t the most accessible. He was also doing additional work done (such as insulating refrigerant lines). The technician seemed knowledgeable and the work was done well. The problem was that the company owner overbooks his technicians and rushes them through their jobs, creating a stressful situation for them. He was constantly being interrupted with phone calls that he needed to get to his next job or do some other task. After spending a few hours at my place, but not yet finishing the job, he said he really had to leave because his boss needed him to pick up some order before some store closed. He said he would be back to finish. I never saw him again. Poor guy, I don?t know what happened to him.

They did some repairs so there were additional fees.

Problem was fixed, although it did reoccur about 3 months later. Not certain whether it was due to contractor workmanship, or the nature of the furnace.

Eventually I was very happy with their service. Unfortunately there seemed to be a communication breakdown that made getting an appointment more difficult. I work just a few miles from home and asked that someone call me when the tech was on his way. Twice I made an appointment and did not receive a call. It took three tries before we finally connected. My whole system was shot but they worked with me to come up with something that I could afford. It was well worth the effort in the end.

Very well, technician was great at communicating the issue and providing a cost effect fix without trying to tell me I need to buy a bunch of stuff I don't need. I was very impressed with the practical advice given on how to deal with the system and suggested maintenance.

Technician came to house and said my air conditioner was in good shape and the only reason that it was freezing up was that the air conditioning company I used last year put too much coolant in the air conditioner. The Cool Breeze technician removed some of the coolant. This cost me about $125 for this 20 minute service. A few days later, the air conditioner froze up again. I called Cool Breeze and they came out to the house about a week later and they were due to arrive between 12 and 5 on a Saturday; I called the company several times to see where the technician was throughout the day and finally, by pm on Saturday, when the technician still was not at the house, I called Ron who is the owner, I believe. He was very abrupt, rude, threatened to send the technician elsewhere because I was complaining that I had waited 7 plus hours for the technician and the technician had said he was on his way to the house by no later than 4:30 that day--and kept saying he was on his way until he finally arrived around 7:15 on Saturday night. No apologies were offered by the manager, Ron! The technician who came late on Saturday night said that I did not have enough coolant in my air conditioner but everything else was fine. I explained that his work colleague, the technician who came the week before, said I had too much coolant and took some out. So, this second technician put the coolant back in and then said that the coils on the heater unit in the house needed cleaning but could not guarantee that this would correct the freezing up of the air flow from the air conditioner. He called Ron, the owner (I think) who said it would cost $450 and Ron allowed no reduction from the first $125 dollars I had spent for the first technician's misdiagnosis. So, the company could not figure out the problem, charged me about $250 plus for their mistake, showed up almost 3 hours past the very latest time promised (I waited a full 8 hours for them to arrive on a Saturday and they did not apologize and in fact Ron was rude to me), couldn't fix the problem that night, and then left. Awful service, rude management, I would never use them again.

I called fairly late on a Wednesday night and they were able to send someone out first thing on Thursday morning. The technician who came was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable, and took the time to explain to me exactly what was wrong and what he was doing. He didn't try to sell me any added goods or services, which was nice, and was able to fix the problem relatively quickly and easily, and at low cost. I would definitely call Cool Breeze again.

My unit had a leak but it was still under warranty so I was given a receipt for the repairs that was needed and my air conditioner was shut down manually by the technician. Mind you, it's 100 degrees outside and July 2014 so I expected someone to follow up on the repairs that were needed for my home. Needless to say, I waited a couple of days and I had to call them to try to schedule a time for the repairs. I spoke with some woman who took my cell number and told me that the owner would email or call me to schedule repairs for my unit. Well.....it's been a few days and no call....no email....nothing. I think this company is good when it comes to diagnotics but for the ACTUAL REPAIRS I think you should hire someone that isn't associated with Cool Breeze.

Cool Breeze was incredibly professional and accommodating. I called them after hours on a Wednesday and they were able to fit me in the next day? This was during a spate of 90+ degree days and right before a holiday! They even went out of their way to give me a longer than normal lead time regarding my service window so that I could go to work for part of the day. Henry arrived within the allotted time frame and provided great service. He explained everything that he was doing and ensured that he cleared the price of labor and replacement parts with me before beginning the work. I had a wonderful experience with Cool Breeze and will use them in the future.

When the Technician came all he did was check if my system worked, which I already knew. I was a little disappointed.

Overall this was a great experience with Cool Breeze. There was a little scheduling confusion initially because I purchased a deal through Angie's List and their schedulers got confused because I had called and scheduled by phone and then they tried to schedule with me again via e-mail because I had purchased the deal online. On the day of the appointment, the tech called my husband and said he couldn't come until many hours after the scheduled appointment. My husband told the technician that would not work as this is a rental property and we had an agreement with the renters for access to the property during a certain time window. The owner/manager called my husband back quickly and rescheduled some of his techs so that someone could come during the agreed upon window. Once the technician arrived at the property, everything went great. He was very meticulous with his checks of the heat pumps. He discovered one issue with a missing safety valve, which MANY other companies had missed through years of inspections, and he rectified the problem quickly without too much expense. Now we know that the system will work more safely and consistently with that part installed. He was very knowledgeable and forthcoming with information, which we really appreciated, especually since we do not live at the property and so do not see these heat pumps often or know how well they're working. The final price was very reasonable, especially with the Angie's List deal I had purchased, and we'd definitely use them again, even at our own home.

The first thing I liked the most was the fact that the techinician arrived on time to perform a routine summer maintenance of my split AC system. He primarily checked the unit inside the apartment, then proceeded to check the unit on the roof of the building, and came back and finished with the unit inside the apartment. He measured the temperature differential, the refrigerant level, and the drainage for condensation. Not only did he explain to me what he was doing, but also answered all my questions - in terms I could understand, the second thing I liked the most. At the end I asked him if Cool Breeze performs pre-winter tune-ups, because I look forward to contacting them again. I was extremely satisfied with the professionalism and thoroughness of the service.
