I purchased the Tune-Up Package. Marc was very courteous and very well technically. He explained everything very thoroughly. I would recommend AHC and Marc.

Super people. Did what they said they would do.

I know a major reason they have high ratings. For starters they get you to leave a rating on here once the first guy comes to do an analysis. If you read more you will see why customer service once you sign a contract can be quite different. I hired them to do the roof tune up and get estimates for more roof work. Marc (does the tune up and takes pics to let a sales rep come by another day to provide an estimate). Marc was awesome as well as the sales rep. But it should be noted it took maybe about 2 months to get an appt and for them to finally come by the first time. But on their defense it was during a heavy season where we had a lot of rain. The problem comes with once they have you sign the contract.......customer service goes down the tube if you need to contact them. And their contract says you have 5 days to cancel without incurring a fee. I called them at least 6 times and emailed them 3 times to try and get in contact with them during that 5 day time span. Got no replies to my emails (which they had answered before I signed the contract). 4 out of 7 of the calls I got the answering machine and had to leave messages - on the 4th out of 5 days you have to cancel I finally got a person on my 5th call (no one had called me in regard to my prior messages though) and they tole me a manager would have to speak to me and would call me back. No one called that day nor till noon on the fifth and final day. I called the final day and got a person and they told me the manager again was on a call and would get back to me. Thank goodness one of the office people called me back maybe 2 hours later to simply say the manger said everything is fine and I wont be charged. Point being I should not have to do all of that to get in contact with a company...and this is with me using email (which never got replies) and 7 calls to them - with them only returning my call once.

I hired this company to replace my gutters and downspouts. The rep of American Home Contractors told my wife and I that it would be done in two weeks on 7/28/2018. Yesterday, 8/11/18, was two weeks. I called the rep yesterday and told him to send my deposit back. He didn't call me. I had to call him. I will be calling the company Monday morning, 8/13/18.

I hired American Contracting to do my siding and rebuild a porch after they found dry rot on it. The siding took over 2 months to receive. They overcharged 10 to 15 percent for possible loss! They have a hidden clause in their contract on the back that says all materials belong to them after the job is done and you've already paid for these materials when they rebuild the porch or their advice. The floor is not level. The windows will not open and close. They've been back 8 times and have not really corrected their work for $6,800. The porch should be leveled. The walls should not keep warping. The hand railings that they removed should be replaced. They are refusing to put anything bad that they said make this a legal matter on their contract. Young even recorded me and kept insisting that he was not. This is a company that no one should ever use.

Steve made a few repairs to the roof and checked the attic. I was pleased that he arrived on time, made the repairs and sent me the pictures I asked for. I would definitely recommend him for roofing repair.

Ian spent a considerable amount of time with me in discussing the estimate and work to be performed, the quality and selection of roofing materials and oversight of the crew. On roof replacement day the crew was on site early and worked efficiently. They were kind and considerate through a personal household emergency and I am extremely pleased with the result.

Matt was very personable and friendly. He explained the differences in types/colors for shingles and well as the entire process. He left me with some pamphlets to choose from as well as quotes for each of those I was interested in. The crew showed up on time and worked vigorously to complete the job on schedule, which they did. They even cleaned up all the nails from the ground. Knowing I would be pleased with the look and quality of my new roof is why I chose this company a Second time! I Highly recommend this company.

From the beginning, I have had problems with leakage around skylights and in other rooms. They were very good in the beginning about coming back and fixing the repairs. At this point, I can not get them to return my calls and come out to fix the problem that's in another bedroom. I paid $8,800 for removal of the old roof and installation of the new roof and I am disappointed at this point.

Outstanding experience from the sales pitch to completion of the work. I have never dealt with such a compassionate, honest, and fare company as this establishment. The finish product has completely fulfilled all my expectations. Kudos for mirroring services of what appears to be of today forgotten times of outstanding customer service.

Howard Shires did a great job on our roof and gutters. He told us what was needed and didn't charge for extras that were not. Very happy with the service.

These windows are such good quality and they are holding up extremely well. I had Long Windows do other windows at the same time and they have problems for day one. I wish I had waited and had American Home Contractors do all of my lowere level windows.

I had a roof and siding replaced on the house and shed. I also had additional insulation, gutters with covers, downspouts and soffets replaced on the house. John Roda was a pleasure to work with. The men that did the repairs were here on time and worked long days in the heat and humidity. Ernesto came back to correct 2 minor issues. I would use them again for further work if necessary.
