American Home Contractors did RIGHT by me! My home has never looked so GOOD! ALEX IAN were my two main points of contact. They are the BEST! The installers did an AMAZING JOB! I would highly recommend this company!

I signed the contract to get roof installed in May 2020. Initially, I just wanted a roof repair, but after speaking to the sales person who came to my home---I decided to get a new install. The workmanship of the installers was excellent; i was pleased in every way; including the clean up! The whole installation crew is top notch!!!! I highly recommend this company when it comes to the actual installation process. Here are my concerns: Prior to the install----the sales person raved about the great deal that he could give me but mentioned that the price may change " a little" if the plywood under the shingles is damaged. I told him that I wasn't really comfortable with the possibility of having to pay more than the "deal'" that he was offering. So----according to him he did an "inspection" of my roof and reassured me that based on his observation----he did not anticipate that much, if any of the plywood will be damaged. Needless to say----he just told me what he thought I needed to hear to move forward with the contract. Well---I ended up needing to have 18 sheets of plywood replaced which added over $1, 000 in additional costs to my final bill. When he sent me the photos and invoice, I expressed my disappointment with his sales pitch and lack of transparency and honesty. On the day of the install---I was told that the workers would be at my home between 7 and 7:30 am. When they had not arrived by 9:30 am, I called and was told that there was a mix up and they would arrive by 1:30 pm. They completed the job by 7:30 pm. The day before----the materials were delivered to my home without any notification or confirmation of day/time of delivery. Finally, after the job was completed and the bill paid in full; it took me approximately 2 months of constantly calling them to get a copy of the warranty. The sales person-----was dismissive and kept telling me that he would get it to me the next time he was in the office-----that never happened. Finally---on July 15 after talking to several people and getting the run around, one of the receptionist----sent me a copy of the warranty, but it was not certified by the company. I am not sure why providing the customer with a copy of the warranty that has been certified (signed and dated) by the company----immediately upon the bill being paid in full---- is not a part of their normal business practice!! This is not good customer service. I like this company because I think that they are one of the best ---perhaps the best-----when it comes to workmanship; however, I really do not like that your primary contact is a sales person and not a customer service representative!! I believe that distinction makes a huge difference in the quality of customer service that is provided!

The repair was for the leak of dormer windows on the roof. Most of companies either quoted for thousands or shied away because it is on the roof and too high. AHM did the window caulking for $149.00 that I consider very reasonable.

I hired this company just for their standard roof tune up service, basically to replace a couple of shingles on my roof that were damaged from a recent storm. The representative that came to my home was very professional, thorough and seen way more concerned about the job he was performing, he acted far more concern than many of the other service representative that worked on my home in the past. I got accustomed to receiving only basic standard type of service, but I was truly amazed with the roof service that I received from this company, especially for the reasonable price that I paid. Several items that required special attention were noted by the representative and each item was promptly attended to. Before and after pictures of the items were shown to me when the roofing job was completed. I was very impressed with the representative, his performance, and of this company, because I did not anticipate receiving such high quality service, I had only expected for my missing shingles to be repaired on my roof!

To replace my roof, I obtained three bids using several sources for recommendations. I chose to go with American Home Contractors based on number of years in the business and the number of positive reviews. Additionally, I was impressed with presentation (made by John Roda) which was informative and without any pressure. John was very flexible and patient as I changed my choice of shingles style and color several times. The entire process was transparent and easy. The crew delivered materials as scheduled and roof replacement work was completed in one day. The area around the house was well cleaned out, there was no evidence of any residue materials, nails, etc. whatsoever on the property. A great job! And I love my new roof.

Chuck was excellent. He did a great job, provided pictures of the work, and did a great clean up.

My experience with American Home Contractors was outstanding from start to finish. The estimating process was detailed and complete. The initial presentation was clear and concise. Josh was well prepared and answered all of my questions. Price was very competitive. The team that did the work was excellent. They were all employees of the company, well qualified to do the work, and extremely service oriented. The work product was completed on time, within budget, and with quality workmanship. I would recommend this company without hesitation!

Steve Barron arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable and very professional... the type of individual that all companies like to have representing their organization. I had a gutter tune up scheduled but Steve showed me why that was not feasible given the gutter guards installed and the age of the roof. Instead, he recommended a roof tune up and explained the reasons why... and that is what he did. Excellent job completed by a well trained individual.

Steve was great! Very helpful and informative of our situation and how to fix it.
