Howard, the Roofing Tecnician came to my home to exam the roof from inside the house as well as the outside. He took pictures to show my wife and I what repairs were needed. Some repairs were corrected immediately, but he informed us that a new roof will be necessary in the immediate future. He gave us a timeframe in which to make our decisions. He was very professional, knowledgeable, efficient and amiable. We are now in the process of obtaining estimations for a new roof.

The did excellent job getting insurance approval that reduced my out of pocket expenses.

Excellent installation, work seems to be high quality and they were very timely and professional. New windows are a huge upgrade over my old builder grade. Would use them again for other projects.

I met with Matt at my house who was excellent at explaining to me what I would be purchasing for windows for my basement. The price was good considering the quality and warranty that I received. The guys went above and beyond on their work and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I would recommend these guys for any work they do. Very professional group ...wow what a great job they did.

Extremely satisfied with the work done by AHC. The three doors and shutters we had replaced were exceptional quality. A little pricey but well worth it. All personnel we dealt with were very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. The tight seals on these doors will help save on our heating bill. I would highly recommend this company.

I received a number of bids for this job, and AHC came in in the middle (although all bids were fairly close, just with a couple outliers). I chose them for the following reasons: 1. The payment schedule. They only wanted $100 deposit, and would take the rest of the payment when the project was completed. This ended up being almost 2 weeks after the roof was completed, because they did some interior work on the skylight. There was never a pressing need for money, but rather an attitude that they collect payment when the job is complete and the customer is happy. 2. Josh, the gentleman who came out to our house, thoroughly explained the process and what I should expect, without overdoing it. He didn't give us any long winded stories, but just facts about their work and the quality of their product. I was happy with the abundance of choices in shingle types and colors. 3. Their warranty. They have a strong warranty, and being that I had a leak in my roof to begin with, this was important to me. I scheduled the roof install, only to later realize that I would be out of town. Acting as if their was no inconvenience to AHC, Josh rearranged the schedule and had his team out to my house earlier. They completed the exterior work in 3 days. They were unable to finish the cosmetic details of the interior work before my trip, and we agreed to complete it upon my return. Josh never asked me for any of my remaining balance, but again told me to make payment upon the completion of the project. They completed the project once I returned. The roof looks fantastic, the interior work is great, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. I highly recommend American Home Contractors.

Great no nonsense salesman, the window were delivered a little later than expected. But the install crew was quick, professional and clean. Great job and the windows look great, too early to rate the quality of the windows.

Everyone I dealt with at this company was courteous, prompt, professional, communicative and reliable. They were very quick to give me an estimate and easy to work with, even when we hit a few bumps in the road i.e. wrong product delivered which cased a bit of a delay etc. Their bid was competitive and their installer did a great job, including clean up and coming back to make some adjustments. Would highly recommend this American Home Contractors. They have great customer service (plus they're just plain nice guys!) and truly earned their five stars.

My overall experience with American Home Contractors was excellent! For this project I received several quotes from different roofing companies and AHC's was very competitive. Matt Garick provided the estimate and he did a pretty thorough inspection of our roof as well as the attic. He quickly pointed out some areas of concern that I hadn't even noticed. He then went over all of the options and details with my wife and I and ultimately there were no surprises. On the day of the work his crew showed up as scheduled and wasted no time getting things going. Once the shingles were removed it was clear that the areas Matt pointed out were in worse shape than initially thought. I confirmed each area and ended up needing ~30 sheets of plywood replaced but that didn't slow the crew down. They still ended up completing the entire roof in a day and a half and it looks GREAT! I have to say I was a little concerned about nails and debris being left behind but those guys did a great job of cleaning up at the end. The best part of this experience was that Matt communicated with us throughout the process. He was also there at the end to inspect the work and answer any questions we had. Overall I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth everything went and I definitely recommend this contractor to others. Keep up the good work!

very easy to work with, great clean-up after completion

Great product and workmanship. One window was late coming but Jim came out on Sunday and finished the job. Very.very happy can tell the difference already with electric bill. Thank you. American Home Contractors for a job well done!!!!!!!!! Will recommend you to anyone who needs home improvements.

Matt was great also gave me some ideas for other projects.

At first the wrong product came. Once the right one came in, scheduling was hard, but Kenny came in on a Sunday and did a wonderful detailed job with attention to all of our concerns without being reminded. I was very happy with the product and the workmanship.

Wonderful service from Josh's sales call to the actual installation Eric from the installation team even cut the unsightly bushes in front of the kitchen window so the work they did would really pop My house looks great. I would definitely recommend American Home Contractors

CJ and his crew did a awesome job ,very professional and paid attention to every detail without being told .I would definitely get him back for another window job in my house.

I came from out-of-state to fix up my son's MD house. Hired American Home Cont. for all exterior wood trim to be wrapped in aluminum and gutters to be replaced with seamless gutter system and Rhino gutter guards installed. Matt Garick, the project coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to work with - friendly, responsive, communicative. The workers this company uses are top notch, so you don't have to "watch over their shoulders" or worry that details won't be addressed! The siding & trim wrappers guys make their job look like an art form. They matched a lower-quoted price to get my business.

The customer service representative, Matt, who came out to my house made me feel very comfortable and explained everything in detail and did not have a specified amount of time they needed to sit with me like other contractors did. My home had settlement issues but the workmen did an over the top job with to of my windows and made them look like something I could have only dreamed of. I will contact them for future work without hesitation. Thanks Matt for your professionalism and patience.

Josh was very knowledgeable and polite. He kept in contact constantly to schedule a date (due to all of the snow days we had). The first sign of a good day the materials were delivered and the next day the roof was replaced. The crew were timely and worked hard. The roof looks really nice!!! This is just a footnote (and I explained this to Josh), during the work on my roof some of my screens were ripped due to the flying shingles and my grate vent near the chimney was busted. I informed Josh and he had a crew to come out to repair the screens and vent.

I interviewed 4 contractors and American Home Contractors rated the highest on my spreadsheet. Josh provided all info that I needed and American provided the most detailed written estimate. Other estimates received were lower and higher. Josh stated in the beginning that American will be in the middle. Great professional services from Josh, Kenny Crim, Paul Seipp and Carlos Barboza. Paul worked the first day alone and I was truly amazed at the level of his skills and work ethic. Carlos arrived the second and was great also. My windows are great and I would recommend them to others.

Matt, The project coordinator was very knowledgeable. He explained the entire process, from removing the old roof, relaying new roof and finally cleanup. There were no surprises. Matt promised completion in one day, which was my concern since taking several day off from work was not an option for me. Nelson and his team did an outstanding job, in one day and on a Saturday. My roof looks so nice I can help but admiring it every time I drive up.

Matt, my sales and project coordinator, was extremely knowledgeable and his enthusiasm was contagious. I needed a new roof but also had some specific concerns. Matt assured me that all would be taken care of and he handled all this proficiently. Matt was always reachable and responsive. The crew that showed up to do the actual work was amazing! You could tell these guys have a LOT of experience in roofing. They are efficient but thorough. I could see them working various areas like edges and corners until they were right and not just stapling down shingles. I highly recommend AHC and Matt.

The windows were great, but the roof wasn't don't well and Josh dropped the ball on keeping me informed of when people were showing up to fix things like the screen they broke while working and the roofing on my addition. I ended this job feeling ripped off
