the contractor name is Marc Burkett. I strongly recommend him. He seems quite knowledgeable and technical. He took the time to thourouly explain and show me with pics all the flaws, the consequences and most importantly how to go about them with saving money ! by end of work he was able to show me complete status before and after. I am very satisfied with his work ..Thanks Marc :)

We had them perform a minor fix to our roof as part of a 'roof tuneup'. Their technician was also kind enough to clean out our gutters for free! What a great company. They were not pushy or anything. Came in, got the job done, and were out.

This was for the roof tune up advertised for $149. Prompt replies, reminder notice, on time and what seems like an honest evualuation of my roof. Explained problems, showed issues with photographs and repaired some that he could. Marc B. was the tech and did what I consider an excellent job. Would recommend. Will update once roof estimate is received.

When Howard Shires came out to do a roof tune-up, he was on-time and professional. After a thorough inspection which included photos, he repaired the leaks around my roof vents. Since my roof is almost 20 years old, it was no surprise that he advised me to have my roof replaced. Based on this experience, If I decide to use American Home Contractors in the future for my roof replacement, I would expect the job to be performed to the highest standards.

From my inital conversation with Lauren Carton to schedule my "Roof Tune-Up" to the actual work that was performed by Marc Burkett, the Tune-up Tech, American Home Controactors delivered as they promised in their advertising the The Baltimore Sun and on their Webpage. I was very pleased with the courteous and professional staff. My expectations were high and they delivered a fine service. Pictures were provided of the work on the roof, so I could verify w/o climbing on the roof. Much appreciated. Speed and ease of getting an appointment for the work was first-rate. Marc Burkett took the time to fully explain what he was going to perform and how, then provided pictures of the work. Again, very courteous and professional.

I was beginning to get worried because of how long the process was taking to have someone come look at the roof, then to have someone scheduled to do the repair. However, once we got in sync with each other, the process went smoothly. The reps were always very nice but I had to call back a few times to get the process started. That's why I had to knock off a point for customer service. The day of my scheduled appointment (today), Marc Burkett, showed up promptly on time Marc B. came out, explained what he was going to do, went up and came back down .... with pictures to show me the before and after. I heard banging, of course, but still the repair was much quieter than I expected. He cleaned up and was on his way. I'd give him a 5 out of 5 for his professionalism, promptness, and the repair work performed.

Great crew, amazing workmanship and time efficiency on a steep pitched roof. They were very affordable, patient in answering all my questions, and explained everything in detail. The roof looks great, there was minimal clean up for me after, and my neighbors were even impressed with the work throughout the day and the final product.

They are very prompt with their service. I had a roof damage due to storms at my laurel MD home. They helped me at their earliest over phone, even though I was in Philadelphia and was not able to meet them. They are very affordable and accessible all the time. They were very professional with their tune up work and recommendations. Mr. Nate smythe went above and beyond expectation. He paid my advance deposit and helped me to get the earliest install schedule for total roof replacement even though my payment was on its way. He is very professional and considerate about the issues and discomfort that one can have with home that is being managed distantly. I strongly recommend Mr. Nate and his team for any roofing replacement work.

We were very pleased with the tune up technician, Marc Burkett. He was very personable, explained issues, took before and after pictures showing issues with both gutters and roof that he repaired. We found AHC through Living Social and will use them again for future repairs.

I got the gutter tune up which included getting a diverter, and Howard went above and beyond by replacing 2 collar gaskets as well as doing some caulking around a couple windows. I would definitely recommend him and the company. Also, the staff on the phone was very professional.

We had a great experience with American Home Contractors from the scheduling to the tuneup (by Howard) and estimate (by Nate). Howard and Nate were both excellent at explaining the options we had available, including identifying the problem and estimating what we could do to either repair or replace our roof. The work done to repair the roof looks excellent so far.

When responding to an ad in my local paper for a Premium Roof Tune-up, I wasn't sure what I'd encounter. AHC staff was responsive, professional and courteous every step of the way....from making the appointment, explaining company policy, and a personal reminder call (front office staff), to setting expectations and sharing before/after pictures (tune-up tech). Marc Burkett has a wonderful personality, which compliments his patient and professional demeanor. He appeared very knowledgeable, yet didn't take advantage of me as a captive customer...didn't exaggerate roof's condition or recommend unnecessary work. I appreciate the honesty and detailed inspection report. I will definitely get an estimate when I'm ready to replace my roof.

Marc Burkett, performed a very thorough inspection and completed some repairs. His work included before and after pictures, very clear explanations of everything he did, and he answered all of my questions. Marc was very courteous and professional and did not "push" me for additional work. I have already recommended them to two of my neighbors! I know who I will be contacting for my new roof! Even tho I shopped around and found an estimate a little cheaper, I really liked Josh. He did not make me feel like I was getting a pre rehearsed speech or he was not phony. He was honest, answered all my questions and was great at communicating. He scheduled quickly, his crew worked on once of the hottest days so far this year and they were done by 5:00. A few things to note, they should put things back as they find them and when your crew smokes, they should not leave their butts all over my front and back lawn. I think they could have done a better job checking for nails.. I have found them in my yard and I have 3 dogs and I am little concerned. I did really enjoy working with Josh and I hope I can work with him again in the future. I recommend them and esp Josh! Thanks so much everything....

You couldn't ask for a better experience! The installers (Edgar, Ed, Antonio) did an outstanding job. They show up early, ready to work and make sure you're satisfied throughout the project. Our home looks fantastic, great job AHC!

They did an excellent job on my siding, roofing and gutters. I love their billing process; you only have to put down a $100.00 deposit and pay the balance after the work is completed. I'm very please with their service.

work was started early in the morning and the guys worked very diligently, stopping only for a short lunch break. Work was finished up around 7 PM to my satisfaction. Company has a unique billing process, as they only require $100.00 down, and the balance at completion. I think this shows complete confidence in their workforce. Customer representative (Matt)was very knowledgeable, and even called distributers to make sure product was available, and my timeline was met. Project supervisor showed up early afternoon to review job progress. Although my job was not large scale, I felt company (and employees) took my job on a very personal level. I would recommend this company to anyone interested in getting the best job at a very reasonable cost.

Howard, the Roof Tecnician reported to our home to complete an examination of the roof inside the house and outside. He took pictures to better explain the repairs needed. Some spots on the roof were corrected immediately. However, via his inspection we are in need of a new roof within the immediate future. He gave us a timeframe within which we could work toward making decisions. He was very efficient, professional, knowledgeable and amiable. We are currently in the process of obtaining estimates.
