Howard Shires was the Technician. He was professional and explained everything so I understood what he did and what the condition of everything was. I would highly recommend American Home Contractors to anyone looking for a roofing repair and inspection.

Howard Shires did work on my house several months ago. I was impressed with his work, his personality and his honesty. I also liked the idea of seeing the pictures he took on the roof so I could actually "see" what he was talking about. He made some suggestions of work that I should think about doing, but wasn't pushy . I had him come back to do the same service on 2 other homes I have.

Howard Shires of AHA came to my house on 3/14 to perform a Gutter Tune Up and Attic/Roof Inspection. Howard looked around my Attic and Roof. He took photos of my roof and showed me several flaws that I should consider taking care of. He also was extremely quick in cleaning my gutters and gave me to the option to leave if I needed to. He made sure to put all of the debris inside garbage bags and didn't leave it on my yard/driveway. He was also able to get me a quote on the spot for putting up shutters, of which I am currently looking around for several quotes before proceeding. When going over my inspection report, he appeared to be extremely knowledgable and did not sway my confidence in his job. I would hire this company again to perform this service and will consider them for other home repairs as necessary.

I hired American Home Contractors to perform a 'premium roof tune up,' and was very pleased with the performance of their roof technician, Jeff Waltos. Jeff arrived earlier than the appt time (highly unusual in this day and age, and very nice), and proceeded to evaluate both my attic (50 yrs old) and roof (only 12 yrs old). He was able to point out potential problems in both areas, while also taking the time to fix the ones that were within the scope of the 'tune up.' Since I am not excited about climbing on roofs, Jeff took pictures of everything he saw or did up on the roof, then was able to show and explain to me what was good and bad in terms that were easily understandable. Fortunately, the roof repairs needed were minor, and thus avoided potential major problems down the road. I was impressed with how knowledgeable Jeff was, and appreciative of the time he spent explaining what needed (and didn't need) to be done. Finding an honest contractor these days is highly unusual (and I've used a few in recent years), so I was very happy to realize that I was getting an honest evaluation of my home. Customer service was also outstanding - they sent an email of my appt time, then called me when an earlier opening became available to see if I was interested in changing my time (I did). All in all, I would highly recommend American Home Contractors, and would use them again if the need arises.

American Home Contractors replaced my roof and gutters. I am very pleased with the work and customer service. Thomas from American Home Contractors was very professional and knowledgeable and answered all of the questions and concerns that I had regarding the work to be performed. The work was done in less than 4 hours and the clean up was amazing! I especially appreciated having Thomas return to my home to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the work. Thank you to everyone who worked on my roof and the gutters.

The technician, Marc Burkett, arrived to clean the gutters but was unable due to wood damage on my roof that was contributing to gutter issues. He identified shingles missing and signs of wood rotting which were contributing to gutter problems. As a result, I need to obtain estimates for roof repair and gutter replacement.

Following the blizzard of 2016, I purchased a Premium Gutter Tune-Up Package from Angie's List after I saw water dripping down between the gutter and fascia board on our 2-year old house. The service tech, Howard Shires, was punctual and called me on his way to the house, giving me a half hour notice. He first checked the integrity of our roof's underside, soffits, and vents from inside our attic to ensure that everything was installed correctly and that there were no leaks. He found that our dryer vent was not connected correctly, and our dryer was exhausting lint and moist air into our attic. Since dryers are one of the foremost causes of house fires, this finding easily paid for the cost of the inspection. He then used a 40' ladder to access our 3-story roof where he found old construction issues with the roof that will need repair. He also cleaned out our gutters and found them to be sound. He identified the issue with the aforementioned dripping water, which was actually a siding issue, and recommended a solution. Afterwards, Howard gave us a written and oral summary of his inspection, with close-up pictures of the identified issues. He answered all of our questions and vowed to follow-up via e-mail or phone if we had any others.

Marc B. was the technician that came to perform my roof tune up. He arrived earlier then expected and called me prior to arriving to let me know he was going to be here early. He was very polite and professional. He was extremely knowledgable about everything I asked or was concerned about. He diagnosed my problems, explained what he would be doing to fix it, and did a very good job as far as I could tell based on the pictures he showed me. He even went out of his way to schedule me an free estimate appointment to get some other issues taken care of that he couldn't do. He was very honest and the biggest thing was that I didn't feel like he was trying to get over on me or sell me anything like most of the other contractors ive dealt with. Definitely use Marc if you have any roofing or gutter problems...you wont be let down.

I was very pleased with the work. Jonathan Ross was very professional and did a great job. I need to have additional work performed and Jonathan provided a thorough explanation of what the problem areas are and what should be done to correct it. Jonathan and the young lady that I spoke with from the office were very courteous and a pleasure to meet.

Marc B. was very professional. He explained everything he did and made some helpful suggestions. Marc was very courteous, polite, and knew his job well. I will not hesitate to call this company for additional services when needed. I will also request Marc again.

Marc Burkett, did a great job. He showed me where my problems were and also completed my roof tune-up. I love that he took pictures, so I can see the before and after of the work. Also provided great recommendation. I will use them again.

Hired AHC to fix a few minor issues with my roof and do an overall tune-up, with an eye on eventually replacing my 17 year-old roof. Roof Tech Marc B was professional, knowledgeable and gave me an honest assessment of my roof. He also pointed out a few issues with foundation cracks and window calking. I'm very please with this introduction to AHC.

I had the roof check up done. Very happy. Marc was the tech. He was very professional and explained the process. The best part was he didn't try give me the hard sale on spending more money. Usually these val Pak promotions are schemes to make more money. He advised me on some future projects I may want to consider. Overall happy. It took about 2 hours all together.
