Description of Work: I wanted to do a check regarding the A/C unit we had and discuss ventilation in the attic-turned rooms. He did a check of the A/C unit.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a heating or cooling diagnostic. He arrived on time to the appointment. He found that the problem was that sawdust had gotten in the unit from the remodeling job and he dusted it out. The technician was very professional.

Description of Work: They were fast and efficient - wanted them to check out the ac unit before starting it up as it had been installed during the winter and the house had been empty ever since. Did thorough check of unit and thermostat and even went up in the attic to check out my furnace too !

Description of Work: The technician came to the house, on time. It was a basic service call. He said that the problem for no heat was with the box installed by Pepco. I contacted the company a few days after the visit to get confirmation of the problem and to get information about replacing the HVAC system. I asked that some one contact me directly. The problem: the initial request was handled by my son and he couldn't explain to me the problem. With this being said, the person contacted my son instead of me. No one ever contacted me or did a follow up. After months of no heat, I contacted Lowes and BG&E and we've been comfortable ever since with our new heating and cooling system

Description of Work: I have been using Tuckers AC and Heating since 2010. Lost my AC on memorial weekend. I called 2 other companies and they said it would be about 2 weeks for them to come and check out problem. I then called Tuckers and they came out that day about 6-7pm to diagnosis and fix problem. I have their maintainace agreement which they come out 2 times a yr to check system in fall and spring.

Description of Work: Pepco had upgraded one of their EnergyWiser devices on my compressor back in March. When we went to turn the AC on in May, it didn't work. I gave Tucker's a call and they came out later that week. Their serviceman, I believe his name was Brian, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He first took a look at the stack and then proceeded out to checkout what Pepco had done. Turned out to be a ten-cent wirenut that they had broken. The repair came to about $250, but I liked their service and signed up for a one year service plan. Based on this one visit, I'd recommend them to other folks.

Description of Work: In May went the weather started getting warmer, we noticed that our A/C wasn't working. I saw that they had a special for an A/C inspection. I called and made an appointment. The technician showed up on time and diagnosed our problems. Pepco had installed an additional piece outside our external A/C unit and by mistake cut a low voltage cable. The technician fixed it up and also adjusted the airflow in the house to make sure that the top floor gets full cooling and the ground floor and basement are half open. The last person (from a different company) to service our unit had closed the ground and basement floor airflow. I was really happy with the service. Now that our A/C is running we've noticed water leaking in the basement. I just called back this week to make a new appointment to have them look that as well. The staff was very professional and helpful trying to find a time that works for us. I highly recommend this company.
