They are efficient and polite. They are neat, clean and reasonably priced.

They were amazing. I had an appraiser coming in to look at the property. There was another company that we had contacted to come out and clean the furnace. They got here and weren’t able to do all but I did wanted the furnace cleaned before the appraiser came or at least to prove that it was in a working condition. The appraiser was coming in that afternoon. Tuckers sent somebody within an hour and they were an expert in oil and heat which is apparently much harder to find than I realized. The gentleman who came in did the cleaning but didn’t finish the job because it turned out to be a much bigger job than we thought. He explained to me why and did a preliminary cleaning of the unit. He actually spoke with the appraiser. He was great and I actually called the company to tell them that. I would use their services again in the future.

I have used Tucker's A/C and Heat for over 11 years. About 10 years ago they replaced my old oil burner, a/c and water heater with all new equipment. The work was top notch and the service crew professional. I am a residential real estate agent in Upper Montgomery County. I have used Tuckers in my home exclusively for over 11 years. Their work, professionalism and cost have all been exceptional. One of the services I provide for my clients is a referral service to the tradesmen and professionals I feel do the best job at a reasonable price. I ALWAYS refer Tuckers A/C and Heating to all of my clients whenver the opportunity presents itself as I know they will take great care of my clients - thereby making me look like a hero as well. In addition I have given Tucker's info to other agents in my office. They have used their services numerous times and are always completely satisfied.

The job done by them was excellent. They came on time, they were professional and friendly. They were very clean. They explained what they were trying to do and answered all questions. The price was same as other companies. The quality was quite good. Their responsiveness was good.

Unless you really understand A/C systems or do a lot of homework, it is very hard to do an ?apples to apples? comparison of proposals. Most companies will provide equipment that meets the Federal Tax credit requirements but there is a big range of products and options. There are many brands, each with many different series and models. Most manufacturers make the same or very similar products under 2 different brands so you might pay 20% more just for the sticker they put on a piece of equipment at the end of the assembly line. Tuckers' initial proposal was not the lowest but it was very clear as to what they would do for you. With other contractors you only know the major pieces of equipment they would install, i.e. outdoor unit, indoor coil and furnace; perhaps humidifier and filter. Tucker's standard practice is to replace gas valves, switches, vents and to properly clean and flush the refrigerant lines. Their proposal even included the replacement of my water heater to bring it into compliance with current codes. The estimator answered all of my questions honestly. And they were willing to work with me on the price, making my final decision easy. The crew on site was very professional and did an great job. I believe I got a quality installation and high quality equipment for an excellent price.

Jon determined that the bearings were starting to go bad on the fan motor. A new part was ordered and new blades were ordered from the manufacturer as Tuckers did not have them in stock. Jon cleaned the coils outside and checked the temperature differentials once the unit was started up. He also cleaned the electronic air-filter, checked the thermostat and other functions of the A/C unit. Steve Tucker called that evening with an estimate for the work to be done and an appointment was scheduled.

Soon after turning on the A/C for the first time after moving in, we discovered small puddles around the base of the air handler. But after checking that condensation was properly draining through the drain tube, we couldn't figure out why there was water leaking from the base. Tried to find information online, but ended up being referred to Tuckers AC by the heat pump/air handler maker. Their staff are friendly and professional, and scheduling was very easy. Miguel arrived a few minutes early for the 8am appointment and went straight to work. Overall, he was very polite and thorough, and explained things as he went. He not only found and plugged up the leak - a secondary drain opening was the culprit - but also checked our outdoor system as well. He also priced some additional maintenance services, which we're still considering. It's helpful to know ahead of time how much a job will cost though. Great experience with Tuckers AC. Would recommend.

The were on time and very polite. The repairman explained everything to me and even showed me the test he ran on the capacitor. I don't feel like I was overcharged, but he did try to offer me some "optional add-ons" that I refused.

They are great and extremely honest. They are owned by two brothers and run different from most blue collar companies. They are very well organized, punctual and have very little turnover within the company.
