CAUTION! True craftsman at work!!! Should you need HVAC work done in your home, don't hesitate to call THIS COMPANY!!! First and foremost, the good folks at Frederick Air sure brought their and quot;Aand quot; game to our home for this extensive project that we had been planning for quite some time. As mentioned above, this would be a complete change out of our home's heating and cooling equipment, top to bottom, and it needed to be done right. Upon receiving several bids for the work, two very important things were at the top of the list from all the research I had conducted as I studied the various offers...well, make that three. #1. Good, reliable equipment by a known manufacturer in the HVAC field for quite some time (i.e. Durable product line.) #2. Even more important than the manufacturing company, a very well trained and competent install team (factory authorized) to do the job right the first time. #3... Of course a good Angie's List profile! Well fellow Angie's List members, I can't rate these guys at Frederick Air highly enough. On all three counts, this company came thru with flying colors. Only factory authorized Bryant dealer in Frederick County - check! Matthew (install team foreman) and his crew were top notch from start to finish, as was Dan, our sales consultant (quite professional in his communication skills; very thorough in his recommendations on what actual work was needed to make our home more comfortable) - check! He even stopped by the house midway through to see that the job was progressing to our satisfaction. And Angie's List? Well just read the reviews. This is a good local company that is well thought of throughout the community. In fact they even support many local charities that make the Frederick, MD area such a nice place to live. Both heat pumps are doing great (Super quiet inside and out!). The whole house humidifier along with the better air flow due to the suggested (Thanks Dan!) modified duct work, makes the place MUCH more comfortable than it ever has been! Btw, if you don't have one of these humidifiers, get one! Programmable thermostats are state of the art! Frederick Air filled out all the paperwork for our warranties and Potomac Edison rebates and all we had to do was mail 'em in. Did I mention attention to detail? Yes, I think I did. Again, if ever you need HVAC work done in your home, don't hesitate to call these folks. They may just have the solution you are looking for.

They recommended and installed a very efficient system that works with my current configuration of propane and forced air. THe crew did a great job and were very professional. I love the new system and look forward to the savings from the hybrid heat pump/furnace unit. I would highly recommend Frederick Air to anyone.

The technician came out promptly and diagnosed the issue. It turns out I had a full warranty on this system, so I called the original installer for service.

All of the personnel involved from the estimator to the installers were professional, courteous, neat, and punctual. THe esitamtor informed me of substantial rebates offered by Potomac Edison, which none of the other companies that gave me estimates did. I recommend Frederick Air without reservation.

They were very professional giving a quality estimate, addressing all our needs, and even filing all the paperwork for energy rebates. My wife was sick and they rescheduled a site visit and the construction dates at the last minute. They used mats, tarps, and shoe covers to protect our furnishings and were very considerate of our home. They were very efficient, did quality work, and completed the job in one day.

The outside unit that was installed is a 3 ton unit, larger than what we had before, and that was a wise move. It is fantastic. It is so powerful, it hardly makes any noise. The one we had before sounded like a jet taking off. We are using Frederick air for an extended 10-year maintenance on the unit they installed, because they did such as great job. We do not hesitate to recommend Frederick air for any work, and will use them in the future.

We pay annually and they come twice per year. Seem to be thorough. A few years ago we replaced our a/c system. We did get a bid but did not make the purchase from them, but they were very professional and continued as our maintenance provider. Often we have the same technician coming each time. They are uniformed, friendly, and take time to explain and answer any questions. They are concerned with the system's performance and making it work its best. We may be slightly overpaying since this maintenance probably doesn't need to be so frequent, but we are happy with it so we keep it up.

Removing the oil tank was a big job and it apparently scared off another Angie's List HVAC contractor, whom we had used before, but we could not be more pleased with the work of Frederick Air. The technicians were excellent. They were punctual and respectful of our home. And the Bryant system with zone control has provided more heat to our family room than we ever could afford to achieve with oil.

The experience was excellent. Be sure to check on-line for any discounts. Do recieve a briefing on how to control the humidifier vents and to adjust the thermostat. This one is easy to read but some are not. If you do not have a service contract, be sure to change the filter every 6 months. The technicians cleaned up the area after installation and wore covers over their shoes while working in our home. Now that we have been running the system for almost two months, I can tell you that we have virtually eliminated the static electric shock that we were experinencing when turning on a light switch. My nasal passages do not get congested from dry air and we feel much more comfortable in our home at a setting of 68-70 degrees F.

Frederick Air replaced the boiler and gas hot water heater in our old and quot;newand quot; house in Frederick. We were completely satisfied with their work. We chose them because they were knowledgeable, responsive, conducted a thorough assessment of our existing equipment, and presented us with a number of options. We decided to replace the system rather than to repair the old boiler because it was not properly piped and no longer up to code, in addition to needing several new parts. Dan and all the technicians were friendly, helpful, and explained the heating system in detail. They were prompt, highly competent, and cleaned up very well. A steam heat radiator system was new to us so we made a few calls for questions about strange noises and help in balancing the system. They came promptly and gave full explanations and adjustments. We decided to take their maintenance agreement for both our heating and air conditioning. I completely recommend them.

They were the most organized. I had three people come in and they were the most professional by a long shot. I definitely would use them again.

We were very impressed that they showed up as quickly as they did. They were great because it was very hot out.

The AC went off in May,it got cooler,so I waited for Frederick Air to help other people and then he came here. When he got here,everything worked fine,but he stayed for about an hour, checked everything, and recommended what he thought was a good thing to do. Very helpful.

I like them very much. They are very friendly, they are competent, and they call you before they come out. The price is getting a little high but they let me pay twice a year rather than all at once.

Very professional service tech, able to easily explain what he was doing and what we could expect from our system in the future. Tech worked quickly, efficiently, and cleanly.

Four guys (Jimmy, Tom, Matthew, and Matt) came punctually to the door and introduced themselves. They made sure not to mess up the floor and cleaned up after each job was done. Very knowledgeable about the Bryant products they installed. Explained the new temperature/humidistat controller well. Would recommend them to anyone. Very good experience. In addition, their salesmen (Glenn Anderson) was very good at explaining details before the contract was signed, and was very accommodating. Thanks for doing such a great job.

The worker was late, but polite and professional. He quickly gave estimate for repair. Thinking he had a replacement part, he proceeded to remove and disconnect the part that wasn't working properly (though the part wasn't completely broken). It wasn't until he had removed it that he realized he didn't have a replacement part. Best he could do was charge me a diagnostic fee, but that left the A/C completely shut down over the weekend. He also argued with me that a Yellow Pages coupon wasn't valid unless I bought a service plan. I had to insist that he call his supervisor (which he did) before he begrudgingly agreed to accept the $15 coupon, which was good for "any regular service call." ''Price'' rating is based on the price they quoted to complete the job.

RICHARD DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB OF INSTALLING OUR HEATING and A/C SYSTEM. HE MADE SURE THAT HE CLEANED AND HAULED AWAY ALL OF MY OLD FURNACE SYSTEM. THERE IS NOTHING I COULD SAY THAT I DISLIKE FROM THIS COMPANY.

THE COMPANY INSTALLED AN AIR CONDITIONER ALMOST TEN YEARS AGO, EVERY YEAR THEY COME OUT TO MAINTENANCE AND MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS STILL WORKING, AND UP TO DATE.

THEY DID COME QUICKLY EVEN THOUGH IT WAS VERY HOT AND I'M SURE THEY WERE BUSY. THE MAN WHO CAME OUT WAS VERY COURTEOUS, AND HE CLEANED UP EVERYTHING WHEN HE WAS FINISHED. CALLED LATER IN THE DAY TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS STILL WORKING.

HAVE USED THIS COMPANY BEFORE. THEY WERE THE COMPANY THAT INSTALLED THE HEAT PUMP ABOUT 5 YEARS BACK. THE ALSO DO YEARLY CHECK-UPS ON THE HEAT PUMP. EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THEM.

WE REALLY LIKE THIS COMPANY. WE HAVE THEM COME OUT TWICE A YEAR TO SERVICE AND CLEAN OUR FURNACE AND HEAT PUMP. THEY ALWAYS COME WITHIN THE TIME WINDOW SPECIFIED AND THEY ALWAYS GO ABOVE AND BEYOND IN THEIR WORK.
