We were very pleased with the 2 different jobs they did. They replaced concrete steps and at the other job, they replaced entire driveway and sidewalk. Both jobs were excellent. Everyone was polite and cleaned up everything at the end of the job.

I was amazed how promptly they dealt with the project. The whole thing took only 2 weeks and they even started a day BEFORE they promised. When I changed my mind about some details, they reworked the design to my liking. The quality seems good.

H&S is the rare home improvement company that exceeds expectations. Fair priced, fast, and very thorough. I will definitely use them again for any stone/brick projects in the future.

I awarded this job to Luis Hinojosa. When we met, I showed him what was existing in the front of my townhouse. There was a small concrete slab, pavers that were sinking into the ground, and a small area where weeds were growing. We discussed pouring concrete to make the entire area more uniform. He wanted to know if I wanted my walkway to my front door to be taken up and concrete poured as the cement was cracked. He advised he would be able to separate the area in front of my sliding door and the front door with etched lines in the concrete. He quoted me $2k for the job. I paid him half and the next day, he sent some guys over to work on the job. By the time I got home, the concrete was laid but wet. It was then that I saw it was a big concrete slab with no line for the walkway up to the front door. It began to rain, so I figured they would be back to finish the next day because it was raining so hard. The next day, I received a text advising the job was done. I was so excited to see the finished product. Once I got home and saw the end result, I was very disappointed. I sent him a text advising there were some spots that needed to be addressed. He told me to take pictures and he would address it. I also advised the job did not look right and I had another contractor look at the end result and they said it was awful looks like a concrete slab for a back patio. This is an eyesore because this is the front of my house. I paid Mr. Hinojosa the cost of the job and did not withhold any money because I am a professional. I have sent him about 4-5 texts and called and left a message. He has not returned any of them. Now I am out of $2k with a jacked up front yard. I am not very happy.

Iâ ve hired this company for various home projects. The most recent was repairing our kitchen ceiling that had a leak around Thanksgiving. They were quick to respond and very thorough. Price was reasonable.

Recently hired H&S Construction to install a patio for me. The work was excellent and the workers were very timely and very considerate for our needs. They were helpful in providing their professional input on the material to be used and step by step on the details of the work to be performed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services to others.

Workers arrived early and began working. They were nice and polite. Cleaned up everything. The guys worked very hard to give me a beautiful flower bed retaining wall and in laying concrete on a section of my carport. Luis thanks for a great job, well done. Please thank the guys for me and especially to the one who cleaned cement off the bricks and stacked them neatly. Look forward to working with you and the team again soon.

We had a foundation crack that appeared to be above ground only. Luis advised that he allow his team to excavate down a little to assess the extent of the situation. As it turned out, the project was a little more involved than originally anticipated. Despite the additional work required, Luis honored our originally agreed-upon price and did not cut any corners. Integrity at the highest level in the contracting business for construction projects. Very impressed and will certainly recommend it to neighbors, friends, and family. The most important factor was our complete satisfaction. It is hard to identify reliable and trustworthy contractors these days. Rest assured, going with Hinojosa and Serrano Construction will take the stress away. The best phone call we made for the work we needed to be done. Will certainly use them for future projects.

It is difficult to find someone you can trust. I have had horrible experiences in the past. Luis and his crew are amazing to work with, I feel very fortunate and grateful to find him. Looking forward to working with him again on another project soon!
