He was very timely did a great job and was extremely thorough in the report he provided. I would recommend him nd his services in the future.

I would give zero stars if I could. Cyrus responded to my request quickly to only obtain more money. I needed a letter from the structural engineer that the property was structurally strong. It was already inspected but I needed a letter to show the county as I just purchased the property. He said the project would cost $800. I accepted his price. When he came he requested me to pay without doing any work. He just walk around and got some measurements. I had to pay him although he DID NOT DO the work. He said he need to analyze the job, Then a few days later he sends me the proposal showing that the job would cost $5.5K. I could not believe it. I hired another structural engineer who completed the job for $600. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone.

Cyrus reviewed the home and pictures I had of conditions that existed before major foundation work was done. He viewed inside and outside and assessed not really a problem at this point but mention something I like for fixing landscaping that had changed since last re-sloping done in 2016 by a Landscaping company. Also bentonite soil injection is something I had not heard of that can be done versus having soil removed from the outside of the building to reapply waterproofing to the building. Bentonite Injections is an easier method of reapplying waterproofing from the walls. And I think would fill in the voids around the on the outside wall that I had a concern of Drylok being pushed off. Since was not active at the time - Cyrus did not that I had a problem for a basement. Upon request - Cyrus did give me a name of a company he was familiar with that did Bentonite Injections.

Cyrus went above and beyond expectations. We spoke on a sunday afternoon and he was at my house on Monday completing an inspection! He cares about his clients and their homes!

The company contacted me right away and we scheduled an appointment. Prior to renovating this 90-year-old home I wanted to make certain it was structurally sound, especially as I was having a floor issue on my front porch with some buckled concrete in front of the house as well. Syrus was prompt, very nice and very thorough. He inspected the porch, exterior of home as well as the interior. He was extremely helpful during the entire process and was prompt and thorough in his report with many helpful suggestions! The GREAT news is that this old house has good bones and a solid foundation so we can proceed with our next project, which has already been scheduled through Angi's. Can't wait!!

Cyrus responded quickly whenever I emailed him and the first set of drawings he produced only required minor changes to get approved by Montgomery County. He is the first structural engineer I've ever hired (Montgomery County has let me do my own drawings for previous projects), and if I need another one, I'll go back to him without hesitation.

Cyrus was knowledgeable and able to walk me through his structural analysis. I was very impressed and decided to hire him to oversee the demo and rehab phases of my project. Naturally, I'd recommend him.
