The original request was for replacement of a roof-mounted attic fan including providing the fan and doing the electrical work, and the estimate for the entire job was about $500. Two men came to do the job but after spending some time on the roof were reluctant to remove the old fan because they thought there could be shingle problems if they did so. One of them (Guy) did the electrical work to prepare for a new fan and recommended that I call a roofer to provide and install the fan. I did so and called Trunnel and Guy returned to complete the job. Trunnel billed $322 which corresponded to time on the job and material, but when this was added to the cost of the roofer and fan, the total was much larger than the original $500 estimate. It's hard to evaluate the performance. On the one hand, the total cost was high; on the other hand, I appreciate that they didn't mess up my roof, which I probably not have noticed for some time.

These guys did a good job. Even though the job was an easy and routine job, I could tell they are real professionals. They were on time. The price was fair. I would definitely hire them again.

They are cheap but they are not very good. I guess you get what you pay for with them. I had some problems with some of the plugs in my house and they were really hard to get a hold of after they supposedly completed the job.

He provides A-plus service. He is great and he is always on time to start work. He is always very nice and very professional. He is clean and neat and cleans up after himself. I have told several of my friends about him.

These guys were very good. They advised me of a lot of good stuff that showed me that they were very knowledgeable and well trained. They advised me that for the light to work correctly they were going to install the light as high as possible. I was satisfied with the price they charged. I felt it was very reasonable.

I called Trunnell because of a neighbor's recommendation and their overall good reviews on Angie's List. Trunnell sent a service guy instead of an estimator and sent me a $92 bill indicating that: 1. they had checked outlets and service and that numerous repairs were needed; 2. repairs would be done on a time and materials basis. When I called to complain about the bill, I was told that hand written notes indicated I needed a service guy (when I specifically said I needed an estimate) and that I was being "a pain." The gentleman finally capitulated and did not charge me.

He called ahead and came on time. The switches were fixed and the dimmer was installed. Installing the light fixture turned out to be a major renovation, so he gave me a few tips on how to achieve my goal in a less costly fashion that worked out just fine. He also indicated that he could replace the undercabinet light, but it would be very expensive if he did it, so he showed me a few things that greatly improved my confidence and allowed me to do it myself for free.

Contacted company based on Angie's List reviews. They were professional and scheduled appointment right away. Technician came out and was accompanied by what seemed like a trainee. Very business like. Diagnosed problem on deck lights very quickly. Needed to replace switch. Same problem with interior light. Both jobs were completed promptly and we are very satisfied with the outcome.

Original call was fine, prompt and clear what is needed. Paperwork got lost back at the office. Sent out repeat inspector at no charge to clarify job. Scheduled work within a week and it was done promptly, courteously, neatly and all works seems functional.

Their estimator was on time, polite, and professional. He pointed out a couple things that other companies' reps did not. They were prompt mailing back an estimate and info sheet, and including a 10% web discount were HALF of our highest estimate. The work was done January 9. Tom and Danny arrived 5 mins. early but waited til the appointment time to knock. They were very industrious and got the job done in less time than estimated. They did exactly the work that was promised and used the exact equipment that was specified. Their work was extremely neat and professional. The county inspector commented that he rarely sees such neat wiring work. They cleaned up after themselves completely. My only minor complaint is that some time during the day they used our bathroom wastebasket to dispose of some dirty sweepings. All in all, it was an excellent experience, and I feel I definitely got a top quality job and my money's worth. I'd highly recommend Trunnell to others.

The service upgrade was identified as a necessity by a home inspector who also recommended Trunnell as one of the companies for the work. Confirmed their reputation via Angie's List. Trunnell representatives were extremely friendly and helpful in explaining how a "heavy up" is performed and their estimate was right in line with competitors. Worked with our schedule to make appointment. Electricians came out on time and went right to work. The work looked ugly at one point, but they explained why the panel looked the way it did and when they finished, the new circuit panel was wired up and labeled. Total time without power: less than three hours. Work area was cleaned up before electricians left. Trunnell explained the inspection/PEPCO part of the work and offered to help if PEPCO was unresponsive.

The chandelier & fan in mbr were installed very well; the fan on the balcony wobbles. The electrician said he was unable to fix this. Upon looking up at the fan I noticed all the globes had bar codes on them & when I removed the labels I noticed all the globes were very dirty so I took them down and washed them. Now in order to put the globes back up I have to locate a tall ladder (which I'm not anxious to climb on) and put the globes back up. An electrician is coming here to check the fan 9/22/06 & I was informed there would be a further charge if he has to do any work on it. I have had to call in another company to fix both of my fans.

The mechanics were polite, competent and quick. I am very pleased with their work and I will call on Trunnell again when I have electrical problems.

The other company had told me I needed about $3,700 worth of work done, so I called this company to make sure the work actually needed to be done. They are very reputable. I have used them many times and am very pleased with their work.

He was available on short (24-hour) notice. Electrician called and said he was running EARLY and asked if that was OK! Absolutely. He installed three lights in 30 minutes without turning juice off. He was neat, and the lights are centered and level. I have used them before with the same results.

They are punctual and professional. We are very satisfied with their work. We have been using them for 29 years. Highly recommend.
