Response from Baxter Floors
Unfortunately for all involved, there was an error in the Big Deal as written up by the Angie's List sales department. This promotion was re-run of a very successful "Deep Clean" Big Deal campaign that we ran in Washington DC, Montgomery County MD, and Northern VA in the Spring of 2013. I was under the impression that the Angie's List sales team would use the same wording for this round as was used originally. Instead, someone inserted the word "Polish" into the description so that it read "Deep Clean & Polish" which led to tremendous confusion. By the time I caught it, it was too late to correct. I sent an email to all of the purchasers of the Big Deal clarifying what was being offered and gladly offering a refund to anyone who felt that the clarified service wasn't what they were interested in. In initial discussions with Mrs. Wood I indicated that I would be happy to come to the house and give an estimate. Unfortunately, before we finalized the details of an appointment, I left for a meeting out of state and had very limited access to email and phone service for the duration. I sincerely apologize for all of the confusion that this error has caused, and the currently running Big Deals for the Deep Clean have been corrected to reflect the correct description of the service being offered. - Grant Baxter President, Baxter Floors
