Description of Work: Albert J. Jackson, Inc. removed my old shingles, replaced some rotted roof sheathing, installed two new skylights and installed architectural shingles. The five man crew was professional and efficient and the foreman and his son were polite and courteous. The entire job took just under four hours and the crew cleaned up the worksite when they were finished. | | The whole team did a great job and it looks great! | | I first contacted them after hours via their website. I wrote that I was looking for an estimate for a new roof on my house. I was contacted the next day and the estimator came out the following afternoon. They got me in the schedule very quickly. All communication was punctual and pleasant. | | I will definitely call them again for any future work I need.

Description of Work: This company replaced 6 cermamic tiles in a bathroom shower. The job was not done properly but the company stood behind the job and came out and fixed it to my satisfaction. They replaced my roof and did an excellent job and I was 100% pleased. Then they replaced all gutters and downspouts. Here, the companys performance was awful!. My gutters still leak and drip and erode soil and mulch. In one run of gutter in the back, water drips between the gutter and facie everytime it rains. I found the owner, Tom Jackson to be unreasonable and obnoxious in forming opinions about the problems I was having with his companies gutter work. He very much resented my talking to my neighbors about their experiences with his company and the problems I was having.

 + -1 moreCalled and spoke to Mr. Jackson. Spoke to him multiple times and he was always polite and sounded like a genuinely nice guy. He said they would ''be there next week.'' Week 1 - nothing. Week 2 - nothing. Week3 - Monday I called and left voicemail. Never received a return call. Week 4 - nothing. Week 5 - I called, talked to Mr. Jackson. Unspecified problem. Again took info and said they would get to it ''this week''. Week 5 ended without a sighting. Week 6 - got a call on Thursday from an employee saying he would be at the house Friday. He didn't appear. Week 7 - It's now Wednesday of week #7. I'm trying someone else.
Description of Work: Needed shingles replaced, and a board replaced. No work performed.

 + -1 moreI WOULD SAY THEY ARE AN OVERALL GOOD COMPANY. WE HAD LOOKED AROUND FOR VARIOUS PRICES AND THIS COMPANY WAS THE REASONABLE PRICED COMPANY. THE WORK WAS DONE VERY PROMPT AND THEY FINISHED IN ONE DAY AS THEY PROMISED.
