My Mac computer was infected with a virus, the first one I've had in over 20 years of using Macintosh/Apple computers. Evidently it creeped through my email over a period of weeks until one day my computer was no longer usable. I called Cyber Team Solutions at the end of the day because they had a special for a whole computer clean-up. The woman said they would have someone call me within a few hours. True to her word, a man called within 2 hours and said he would try to help me clean it over the phone. He strongly encouraged me to change all of my email addresses and passwords for every website I have used starting with the ones where I have done banking or other financial transactions. He said he would need to do some research and call me back with the appropriate solution. He called within 45 minutes and took me through a series of steps he thought would work but none of them did. He said the malware that attacked my computer was sophisticated and wasn't responding to the usual clean up techniques. Finally he said the only solution was to restore my computer to it's original operating condition using the factory OS CD. We were at the end of the hour so he walked me through how to do this on my own. After we hung up, I was successful in restoring my computer and I've had no more problems with it. While we were talking he gave me other tips for keeping my machine protected against other viruses, which was particularly helpful.

This was one of the best outcomes I've had with a vendor -- of any type. On Sunday, De. 29th, my computer posted a "blue screen" which is, literally, a blue screen with concerns and directions on it. Following the instructions did not help. I called the Cyber Team. They listened and we scheduled a "remote fix" phone call for 11 a.m. -- less than an hour from my call to them. Al called promptly at 11 a.m. He had said that the "blue screen" issues were difficult to diagnose, and as he worked on the issue, he explained, why. We were on the phone for three hours before I had to cut it off due to other obligations. My computer wasn't fixed, and I continued to have problems with using my printers. Since I was going away for the next couple of days, we scheduled a second call for New Years Day. At this point, I wasn't very happy; I found little oddities with my system, and didn't have much faith that things would be fixed during the next call. I was also concerned because I was unsure about what he was going to charge me. At the end of the call, I asked if I should pay now, and he said no, just wait until we were finished. When I returned home on Wednesday morning, I gave Al a call. He suggested that with all of the unique issues we were facing he thought it needed an in-home visit. I agreed. He said he'd be here within a half hour -- and he was. He worked on the computer running different types of scans, until he felt moderately confident that the blue screen issue was settled. Then he worked on the associated printer problem. When that was fixed, it had been an hour and a half. I thought he would be leaving soon. But he didn't. He said to me that he wanted to run one more scan to be sure he had addressed every issue. When he finally finished, he had been working on my computer or driving her for a good 6 hours. As he was wrapping up, I asked if I could give him a check now. He charged me for two hours at the discount rate -- $98! I was amazed! But I think that with Al, you get someone who cares about his work. He's been doing this for some 20 years,and knows how so many things can attack a computer's system, that he wants to make sure he's done everthing he can before he considers the project "finished." But he realizes that customers won't necessarily want to pay for that thorough an effort, and he takes that into account when he charges you. At least, that's my explanation.

We have engaged Al from CyberTeam Solutions several times since 2013, most recently a few months ago. He has always come within a day or two, called when he is on his way, and arrived promptly. We have had assorted issues and problems, and the need for training with new apps. So far, he has been able to fix every problem and answer every question. He is smart, and knows how to find out things quickly. He advises on the problems lurking, on which security services are worthwhile, etc etc. His price is very reasonable, and well worth it.

The first computer took the bulk of the three hours. Although I had virus protection and Internet security on both computers I was having trouble with crashes and slow speeds. After trying several avenues including searching for malware etc., the technician ultimately had to reset the computer back to factory settings and I had to reinstall some software. He was very thorough in explaining what he was doing and why he thought it might work. I learned a lot in the process. He also caught a lot of spam that was slowing down the second computer. I would definitely recommend them in the future.

Essentially they use free programs from internet to clean up your computer. In my case the standard fix did not work so I was told I would have to pay for another hour...I said no thanks and he did it for free. It took 2 hours of being on the phone and at the conclusion I do not notice any real improvement.

They were very prompt and knowledgeable. There was another issue 1 month later and they fixed it for free. I will definitely use them again.

He was an extremely efficient and knowledgeable. He explained what he was doing as he went along and told me what to expect from the downloads and updates. I highly recommend his company and would use the service again. I have been very pleased with his service and have recommended to several friends

The whole service visit went over the allotted time but was not charged extra. Very professional and informative.

Scheduling was via e-mail and went smothly. Al was running early, so called to see if that was OK, so he was actually better than prompt. When he arrived, I expalined that what I had desribed as services needed was not correct in view of recent pc performance. It turned out that malware had programs running in the background, and that slowed down the computer. Al removed the malware, cleaned out junk, and installed a new cleaner program. He also explained why the system was underpowered, what I could do about it, and the relative value of that vs. a new system. All in all it was exactly what I needed at a great price.

Our computers were running very slow and sluggish. Once he went through and cleaned them up, they seemed to be running much faster. We were very happy.

Al was prompt and worked through a series of diagnostics to figure out the problem. We originally tried to handle the issue over the phone but when that wasn't working Al arrived at my house within 45 minutes and worked through removing the malware. This was a particularly vicious malware that prohibited Al from removing the virus or restoring previous settings through safe mode. Having hit this roadblock, Al worked through a scan independent of my operating system and removed the virus. It was a mystery to me why with up-to-date virus protection that I could have been suspectible to this attack. Not only did Al correct the problem, he worked with me to install better virus protection and another program that searches and removes less threatening (but nonetheless annoying and potentially damaging) spyware and adware. He talked me through other items that may have caused the infection which was most likely caused by not having Java up-to-date.

The entire procedure went quite well. The file recovery is normally slow and took quite some time. In the 2nd sitting the hard drive was replaced and computer restarted. Al is a very friendly and knowledgeable person in his field. He is easy to work work with and his charges are reasonable.

The work turned out well. He was very professional and helpful.

Al had an appointment available within a couple of days. He arrived promptly and explained each step. He had tried several different strategies to diagnose the extent of the problem, and was persistent. I will make another appointment to have him install an upgraded operating system. He answered all my questions, and gave me suggestions on best practices and next steps.

They were prompt and responsive. Very easy to deal with. They did what I asked but it did seem to take a long time for minimal work. Good deal for the cost.

Cyber Team Solutions was okay. They came out the same day that I bought the deal. I needed extra hours. The service was fine. He was knowledgeable and he did a good job. I never used this kind of service before so I don't know about the pricing.

I provided a little information on what I needed over the internet through their website. Unfortunately, I think that hadn't gone through. So when I actually talked to the gentleman, I was able to give him a little idea. Mostly, we had to work as things came up. He fixed the problems that I had. I think I had initially contracted for an hour and then we ended up with an extra half hour at the same rate, which was certainly fair. There were two computers that I was concerned about and both of them were fixed. I was given a good tip about a free antivirus software that was provided by my phone provider that I wasn't aware of. I was very satisfied with the results. A number of issues were fixed that I wasn't aware of that should've been standard on the computers. I am grateful to have had the suggestions. Since that time, both computers have worked just fine. In one case, there was a piece of malware that I was having trouble getting off one computer. He was able to take care of that. In the other case, the computer was barely turning on. We basically got it functional again. It has some virus problems and vulnerabilities that were fixed and the viruses were removed. I would say the computer is much more reliable. We haven't had the rebooting problems that we had started to have.

It turned out really well. They are good people. They are very efficient. He knows what he’s doing. He is a really calm guy. We had one little glitch and he came back and fixed it. They stand by their work.

Everything went great. I was running a little late for the appointment and he waited for me at my home. He was able to diagnose and fix the problems on several machines within the time frame included on the coupon.

Completed on time. Everything works for the first time!

Al could not have been any better. Thorough, knowledgable, understood what I needed and made it happen. I highly recommend him and will definitely call on him again!

The reason I never answer your request for reviews is that all the fields are required and don't have answers. If I don't remember the cost, why is it required for a review? If I don't know the date, don't you already know when I bought it? And how much I paid? When you require me to answer questions that I can't , I just skip the whole review. Consider making the fields optional and you may get a better response.

Excellent. No, better than excellent Provider responded quickly via Angie's List to my request for assistance. Offered to provide assistance on Saturday instead of my having to wait until next week. Provider asked if Saturday 3:00 PM was convenient for me and I eagerly accepted. The horrible malware that had infected my computer was most upsetting and I wanted to clean it up ASAP. Their technician, Al, was running about 10 minutes late to get to my home, but did phone me to let me know he would be there in 10 minutes, which indeed he was. He is very professional, knew how to solve my problem and immediately got to work but while patiently explaining things to me and answering my questions as he worked. He left me with a smile on my relieved face that he had cleaned this up for me. What can I say?

All went well. Mr. Estevez is very knowledgeable and proficient with the computer set ups, etc. Like I mentioned, much of his time was taken up by Comcast not providing the correct information to him. Even so, he was able to get it all connected.
